When he was a young boy, Padmanabhan (Prabhu Ganesan) was driven out of his house along with his parents by an evil-hearted money lender (Nizhalgal Ravi), who gave him a condition: if by a stipulated time period Padmanabhan could raise enough money to buy back the house he could reclaim it as his own.
Since then, Padmanabhan has been living a very thrifty life, always counting the cost of his daily expenses. Even after marriage to Ramya (Ramya Krishnan), he still focuses on his finances, at times to the detriment of his personal relationships with his wife and relatives, who all live together in a small house. In a sub-plot, Padmanabhan hires a housemaid (Mumtaj), who turns out to be the estranged and separated wife of his boss's son.
The story focuses on Padmanabhan's attempt to raise the money to buy back his house and his struggles to adapt with changes in his life, including Ramya giving birth to triplets. But he gradually learns about the importance of relationships and human values and how some things in life are more important than money.
In a final twist to the story, after raising the money, Padmanabhan realises that it has been stolen from his motorcycle. In despair he is about to give up and officially hand over the house to the money lender, but then his boss's son helps him out by providing him the money just in time. The earlier delighted money lender is now shocked at realising that he must give up the house where his family members have long since settled, and orders his relatives to pack up and leave. He drags his two children out of the house and they burst into tears at the prospect of having to leave because they do not wish to do so. The weeping boys then plead with Padmanabhan to let them stay and promise him that they will buy him a much bigger house when they grow up. Padmanabhan, moved to tears, recalls his own heartbreak at being dragged out of his childhood home and agrees to let the family stay until the children have grown up. This puts the money lender to shame and contrition, and he admits having arranged for Padmanabhan's money to be stolen because he knew that he would raise the money eventually. He returns the money and asks for Padmanabhan's forgiveness, having realised the strength of his adversary's moral character.
At the end of the film, the housemaid Omana, who had since reunited with her long lost love, gives birth to triplets of her own in hospital.

Early life and background
Ramya Krishnan was born in 1967 in Chennai. She is the niece of veteran Tamil comedian Cho Ramaswamy. She received initial training in Bharathanatyam, Western and Kuchipudi dance forms and has given many stage performances. Her mother tongue is Tamil.
Film career
Ramya started her acting career at the age of 13 with the Malayalam film Neram Pularumbol featuring Mammootty and Mohanlal in the lead. This film had a delayed release in 1986. Her first release was Vellai Manasu (1985), a Tamil film opposite Y. G. Mahendra.
She is most noted for roles of the Goddess in Tamil and Telugu films, notably Ammoru (Amman in Tamil), Raja Kaliamman, Sree Raja Rajaeshwari, Annai Kaligambal, Kutty Pisasu and Madurai Meenatchi. One of her earliest movie roles was in the Kannada film Krishna Rukmini which was followed by Gadibidi Ganda, Mangalyam Thanthunanaena and Raktha Kanneeru.

Ramya
Divya Spandana (born 29 November 1982), known by her stage name Ramya, is an Indian film actress and politician. She predominantly acts in Kannada films and also appears in Tamil and Telugu films.
Ramya- made her acting debut in the 2003 Kannada-language film Abhi, opposite Puneet Rajkumar. She subsequently starred in several Kannada films alongside lead actors and, following successive commercial successes, established herself as one of the most sought-after actresses in the Kannada film industry, becoming referred to as the "Golden Girl of Kannada cinema" and 'Sandalwood Queen'. Based on an online poll conducted by The Times of India, Ramya won the Best Actor Female award for Sanju Weds Geetha. She won Filmfare Best Actress Award twice for her roles in Tananam Tananam (2006) and Sanju Weds Geetha (2011) films. She also won Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress for Sanju Weds Geetha (2011).
In 2011, she entered politics by joining the Indian Youth Congress. She became a member of parliament from Mandya constituency in Karnataka after winning the by-election in 2013, becoming the youngest Member of Parliament in India at the time.

Bombshell Rocks
Bombshell Rocks is a band that was founded in 1995, in Västerås, Sweden.
History
The group was formed in 1995 with a line-up of singer Mårten Cedergran, guitarists Richard Andersson and Sami Korhonen, bassist Mathias Lindh, and drummer Chrille Hermansson, and had performed under its original band name, Down and Out, before changing it to Bombshell Rocks.
In early 1996, Bombshell Rocks released an EP in form of a mini six-track album, Who's the Real Bastard. During this period, Thomas Falk became the band's drummer and Christian Määttä the band's guitarist, after Chrille and Sami left the band. In 1997, Bombshell Rocks released an EP, Going Up Going Down, on their own label Noiseline Rec. Sidekicks Records signed Bombshell Rocks the following year, and released the Underground Radio MCD.
In 1999 Bombshell Rocks released its debut album Street Art Gallery. Shortly after this debut, Richard Andersson was replaced by Ola Hjelmberg when he left the band. During this period, Sweden's biggest punk-rock label Burning Heart Records took notice of their Rancid-influenced street punk sound and short after the band made a deal with them, resulting in releases on American label Epitaph Records, and Japanese label JVC . After an extensive touring phase e.g. with Millencolin, Dropkick Murphys, 59 Times The Pain, US Bombs, and many more in Europe, USA and Canada they entered in 2000 the studio to prove their debut wasn't a one-shot.

When he was a young boy, Padmanabhan (Prabhu Ganesan) was driven out of his house along with his parents by an evil-hearted money lender (Nizhalgal Ravi), who gave him a condition: if by a stipulated time period Padmanabhan could raise enough money to buy back the house he could reclaim it as his own. Since then, Padmanabhan has been living a very thrifty life, always counting the cost of his daily expenses. Even after marriage to Ramya (Ramya Krishnan), he still focuses on his finances, at times to the detriment of his personal relationships with his wife and relatives, who all live together in a small house. In a sub-plot, Padmanabhan hires a housemaid (Mumtaj), who turns out to be the estranged and separated wife of his boss's son. The story focuses on Padmanabhan's attempt to raise the money to buy back his house and his struggles to adapt with changes in his life, including Ramya giving birth to triplets. But he gradually learns about the importance of relationships and human values and how some things in life are more important than money. In a final twist to the story, after raising the money, Padmanabhan realises that it has been stolen from his motorcycle. In despair he is about to give up and officially hand over the house to the money lender, but then his boss's son helps him out by providing him the money just in time. The earlier delighted money lender is now shocked at realising that he must give up the house where his family members have long since settled, and orders his relatives to pack up and leave. He drags his two children out of the house and they burst into tears at the prospect of having to leave because they do not wish to do so. The weeping boys then plead with Padmanabhan to let them stay and promise him that they will buy him a much bigger house when they grow up. Padmanabhan, moved to tears, recalls his own heartbreak at being dragged out of his childhood home and agrees to let the family stay until the children have grown up. This puts the money lender to shame and contrition, and he admits having arranged for Padmanabhan's money to be stolen because he knew that he would raise the money eventually. He returns the money and asks for Padmanabhan's forgiveness, having realised the strength of his adversary's moral character. At the end of the film, the housemaid Omana, who had since reunited with her long lost love, gives birth to triplets of her own in hospital. Thambi Pondatti is a 1992 Tamil drama film starring Rahman and Ramya Krishnan, directed by Panchu Arunachalam.
Somu (Rahman) is an advertising photographer who exclusively works with female models. His family is a very modern family. His elder brother Balu (Nizhalgal Ravi) falls in love with his friend Maala (Ramya Krishnan), a modern woman, and he discloses it to Somu. They finally get married. Thereafter, the entire family searches a bride for Somu. In turn, Somu gets married with Sumathi (Sukanya) who is from a conservative strict family. Sumathi becomes a suspicious wife and she finds irritating her husband family's behaviours. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.
