Aatreya (playwright)
Aacharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu 
pronunciation ) (7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was a playwright, lyric writer and story writer in Telugu cinema.
Life
He continued his pursuit for social reform, transformation and universal peace, with his 10 Natakams (plays) and 15 Natikas, which include Bhayam ("Fear"), Viswa Shanti ("Universal Peace"), Kappalu ("Frogs"), Goutama Buddha, Ashoka Samrat, Parivartanam, Edureeta and Tirupati.
He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University of Hyderabad, for his contributions to Telugu literature.

Song

Acharya
In Indian religions and society, an acharya (IAST: ācārya; Sanskrit: आचार्य; Tamil: அசாரி āsāri; Pali: acariya) is a preceptor or instructor in religious matters; founder, or leader of a sect; or a highly learned man or a title affixed to the names of learned men. The designation has different meanings in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and secular contexts. It is also a Brahmin surname found in Nepal and across India, including West Bengal and Maharashtra.
Acharya is sometimes used to address a teacher or a scholar in any discipline, e.g.: Bhaskaracharya, the mathematician. It is also a common suffix in Brahmin names, e.g.: Krishnamacharya, Bhattacharya. In South India, this suffix is sometimes shortened to Achar, e.g.: TKV Desikachar.
Etymology
The term "acharya" is most often said to include the root "char" or "charya" (conduct). Thus it literally connotes "one who teaches by conduct (example)," i.e. an exemplar.
In Hinduism
In Hinduism, an acharya (आचार्य) is a formal title of a teacher or guru, who have owned the degree in the Vedanga.

"వెలుగు నీడలు" చిత్రంలో ఇటువంటి ఓ అద్భుత సంభాషణ ఓ సన్నివేశానికి ఆత్రేయ రచించాడు. ఈ సినిమాలో కథానాయకుడు చంద్రానికి టి.బి.వ్యాధి సోకుతుంది. డాక్టర్లు చంద్రాన్ని పరిశీలించి అతని భార్యకి కొన్ని జాగ్రత్తలు చెప్పి వెళ్ళిపోయాక "డాక్టర్లు ఏమన్నారు?" అని చంద్రం భార్యను అడిగిన సన్నివేశం అద్భుతంగా ఉంటుంది. ప్రాణాలు మింగేటు వంటి టి.బి.వ్యాధి అతనికి ఉందని తెలిసినా చంద్రం నిబ్బరంగా ఉంటాడు. కారణం అతని తత్వం ; వేదాంత ధోరణి,జీవిత రహస్యం తెలిసిన వాడుగనుకనే "ఎందరో మహానుభావులు, మహాత్ములు...." అనే వాక్యాన్ని ఆ పాత్ర ద్వార ఆత్రేయ పలికిస్తాడు. అలాగే విషాదంలో వేదాంత ధోరణినే కాక జీవిత రహస్యాన్ని కూడా ఆత్రేయ ఈ సంభాషణలో తెలిపారు.
