John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy (May 29, 1917 – November 22, 1963), commonly referred to by his initials JFK, was an American politician who served as the 35th President of the United States from January 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. The Cuban Missile Crisis, The Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, the establishment of the Peace Corps, developments in the Space Race, the building of the Berlin Wall, the Civil Rights Movement, the "New Frontier" domestic program, and abolition of the federal death penalty in the District of Columbia all took place during his presidency. Kennedy also avoided any significant increase in the American presence in Vietnam, refusing to commit combat troops and keeping the level of others, mostly military advisors, to only 16,000, compared to the 536,000 troops committed by his successor, Lyndon Johnson, by 1968.
Kennedy's time in office is also marked by high tensions with Communist states, particularly Cuba. An attempt in April 1961 at the Bay of Pigs to overthrow the country's dictator, Fidel Castro, was thwarted by armed forces within three days. His administration subsequently rejected plans by the Joint Chiefs of Staff to orchestrate false-flag attacks on American soil in order to gain public approval for a war against Cuba. In October 1962, it was discovered Soviet ballistic missiles had been deployed in Cuba; the resulting period of unease, often termed the Cuban Missile Crisis, is seen by many historians as the closest the human race has ever come to war featuring the use of nuclear weapons on both or multiple sides.

"Start to Finish" is the eighth episode and mid-season finale of the sixth season of the post-apocalyptic horror television series The Walking Dead, which aired on AMC on November 29, 2015. The survivors flee from the walkers that have invaded the Alexandria Safe-Zone.
The church tower smashes three panels of the wall, and everyone scrambles for whatever shelter they can find as hundreds of walkers pour inside Alexandria. Eugene (Josh McDermitt) finds a walkie-talkie on the ground and yells "Help!" into it, before being rescued by Tara (Alanna Masterson) and Rosita (Christian Serratos). Maggie (Lauren Cohan) is forced up the ladder to a lookout post and lies back on the platform, trapped but out of sight from the walkers.
The home of Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge) hosts a group of Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Carl (Chandler Riggs), Judith, Michonne (Danai Gurira), Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam), Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh), and her own sons Ron (Austin Abrams) and Sam (Major Dodson). They discover Deanna was bitten while saving Rick. Later, Carl checks on a distressed Ron who blames Rick for what's happening and lashes out at Carl, breaking a garage window and drawing the attention of walkers. Rick breaks down the interior garage door to get the boys out as the walkers enter; Carl covers for Ron but confiscates Ron's handgun.
A documentary film is a nonfictional motion picture intended to document some aspect of reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction or maintaining a historical record. Such films were originally shot on film stock—the only medium available—but now include video and digital productions that can be either direct-to-video, made into a TV show or released for screening in cinemas. "Documentary" has been described as a "filmmaking practice, a cinematic tradition, and mode of audience reception" that is continually evolving and is without clear boundaries.
In popular myth, the word documentary was coined by Scottish documentarian John Grierson in his review of Robert Flaherty's film Moana (1926), published in the New York Sun on 8 February 1926, written by "The Moviegoer" (a pen name for Grierson).
Grierson's principles of documentary were that cinema's potential for observing life could be exploited in a new art form; that the "original" actor and "original" scene are better guides than their fiction counterparts to interpreting the modern world; and that materials "thus taken from the raw" can be more real than the acted article. In this regard, Grierson's definition of documentary as "creative treatment of actuality" has gained some acceptance, with this position at variance with Soviet film-maker Dziga Vertov's provocation to present "life as it is" (that is, life filmed surreptitiously) and "life caught unawares" (life provoked or surprised by the camera).

Not only has she dated everyone there; unbeknownst to her, Ben has invited her lame ex-boyfriend in hopes of reuniting them. As she spends the night avoiding her ex, and the other undesirable guys in attendance, she interacts with a colorful assortment of party peeps. Between disappearing fortune tellers and over crowded jacuzzis, she questions if real love is even possible. The irony; the only person she's the least bit attracted to, is the homeless man!

This is a redo of my old scenario, I wanted to do the topic right. The death of President Kennedy certainly brought on a new era for the US. The 60's and 70's were difficult decades, which brings on a popular question. What if JFK was never killed? An October 1960 installment of NBC-TV's "Meet The Press". The guest -- Senator John F. Kennedy (D-Mass.). Senator Kennedy, three weeks after this NBC broadcast, would become President-Elect of the United States, after defeating the Republican Presidential nominee, Vice-President Richard Nixon, in one of the closest elections the United States has ever seen.
This is the entire version which aired on Today (The Today Show) with Katie Couric who was anchor from April 5, 1991 to May 31, 2006 while CIA Division 4 confirmed the fact that he was murdered for specific reasons since his death was a political assassination of the highest order. My apologies for the visual glitches in several sections since it was copied from the internet while upgrading both the audio & file extension since only a percentage of this historic interview had been published on YT as I wanted to capture the full exchange for this site. I accepted the official verdict of his death in 1999 but much restricted information has surfaced over the years. If the American people cannot have justice then they should at least have the truth because John's disappearance was certainly n...

This is a segment from MSNBC's Time and Again from the late 1990s. This program features vintage interviews with President Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy on September 9, 1963.
This is an excerpt from an interview with Senator Robert F. Kennedy eight months before he was assassinated in Los Angeles. He hadn't yet announced his candidacy for president but he very eloquently and insightfully addresses the problems facing America at the end of the 1960s. Merv Griffin had over 5000 guests appear on his show from 1963-1986. Part 1 of Nellie Connally's 6 part interview on the Larry King Live show in 2003 to promote her book that she wrote for her grandchildren, 'From Love Field, Our Final Hours With President John F. Kennedy'. In the interview Nellie disclosed that John Connally's cufflink had been shot off his right wrist during the ambush & was not recovered at Parkland hospital, that she believed John Connally eventually died as a result of the horrific wounds he suffered in the ambush of President Kennedy & that President Kennedy appeared 'dead' to her when she glanced at him after hearing the 1st shot. She also describes the scene at Parkland hospital when both JFK & Lee Oswald were pronounced dead. Nellie's eyewitness account differed from what her husband remembered of the ambush (see John Connally Pa...

In the summer of 1962, nineteen-year-old Mimi Beardsley arrived by train in Washington, D.C., to begin an internship in the White House press office. The Kennedy Administration had reinvigorated the capital and the country—and Mimi was eager to contribute. For a young woman from a privileged but sheltered upbringing, the job was the chance of a lifetime. Although she started as a lowly intern, Mimi made an impression on Kennedy’s inner circle and, after just three days at the White House, she was presented to the President himself. Almost immediately, the two began an affair that would continue for the next eighteen months. In an era when women in the workplace were still considered “girls,” Mimi was literally a girl herself—naïve, innocent, emotionally unprepared for the thrill that c...

Hersh's 1997 book about John F. Kennedy, The Dark Side of Camelot, made a number of controversial assertions about the former president. About the book: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0316360678/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp;=1789&creative;=9325&creativeASIN;=0316360678&linkCode;=as2&tag;=tra0c7-20&linkId;=4f529215340ce1acfdb70d565dc7e209 These included that he had had a "first marriage" to a woman named Durie Malcolm that was never terminated, that he had been a semi-regular narcotics user, that he had a close working relationship with mob boss Sam Giancana which supposedly included vote fraud in one or two crucial states in the 1960 presidential election. For many of these claims, Hersh relied only on hearsay collected decades after the event. In a Los Angeles Times review, Edward Jay Epstein ...
In 1964, Jacqueline Kennedy recorded seven historic interviews about her life with John F. Kennedy. Now, for the first time, they can be read in this deluxe, illustrated eBook. Shortly after President John F. Kennedy's assassination, with a nation deep in mourning and the world looking on in stunned disbelief, Jacqueline Kennedy found the strength to set aside her own personal grief for the sake of posterity and begin the task of documenting and preserving her husband's legacy. In January of 1964, she and Robert F. Kennedy approved a planned oral-history project that would capture their first-hand accounts of the late President as well as the recollections of those closest to him throughout his extraordinary political career. For the rest of her life, the famously private Jacqueline Kenne...
