Podcasts (beta)

Cast was working fine until the latest update. Now it crashes at the loading screen and takes me back to home. UPDATE: reinstalled and the app will now function, but podcasts that I had favorited and my progress were gone.

I love the features of this app. All of my favorite podcasts were easy to find and subscribe to. I had a few playback errors with the background functionality (which is the best feature). Also I wish the app was full screen, it's design is a little basic and hard to navigate. With some stability updates, this could be an incredible app for Xbox One!

its broke as **** they really need to test before submitting updates cause i went to turn down the volume and instead it mute it self with no way to fix it and thats just one ******* out of the many

i can find the shows i listen to but the ui needs more work for xbox one controllers

Works properly about 40% of the time. Hilariously user unfriendly.

This is a fantastic app. By far the best podcast app on Windows. It has everything you could want. It's absolutely perfect except that it refuses to sync on any of my devices and the Xbox one could use some native controls instead of just a cursor.

I've been waiting for a universal app like this since I got my Icon two years ago. I can't wait to see new features like: Multiple selection of podcasts ( it is very tedious marking each episode as 'played', one by one) Podcast Authentication And display options like 'view oldest to newest/by name/date' et cetera. Also the 'skip forward' functionality does not work with the drop down menu on mobile! Please fix it Thank you, David and Raphael, keep up the good work! Update: It's a cool feature, but I've since found it a hindrance. Everytime I minimize the app or attempt to launch a game, the podcast automatically pauses. I'd like to listen and play; is there a way to do this?

Great podcast player. Love that it also runs on my PC. Search usually finds the podcast I'm looking for. Regularly updated, usually with bugs squashed and improvement. Issues I've had previously and problems with high data usage appear to have been fixed. Overall, it improves with every version. Loved the old name/logo, but I guess this makes more sense. What happened to "contact" in the options? Isn't that required by Microsoft? Despite a few minor things, this is definitely THE podcast app to use on Windows Phone.

I like this app a lot, it is the only way to stream background music (podcasts to be specific) on my Xbox One due to the unavailability of similar apps in my region (for most of them my country is unsupported...) However, I have some issues. Sometimes the app stops streaming podcasts in any part of the duration (while playing games simultaneously). This happen when I play a podcast episode AND when I download one (so there are no bandwidth problems, though I have decent speeds). Can this be fixed in an update in the future? Thank you and keep up the good work!

Latest update fixed many issues! Looking good in continuum mode! Please better support background mode ;) - Missing theme switcher for light interface All the rest is good, looking forward to future updates.
