Box

Yesterday Box worked fine but today I can't find it anywhere on the computer when it comes time to save a file. Dropbox has been flawless with never a problem. We set up Box because we had a different set of data that needed to be saved. Now we cannot add to that data because Box became invisible.

Was having trouble using Box as a web application in Google Chrome on a Windows 10 computer. Would not open up word to allow editing documents. Downloaded box app from the windows store, and having the same problem. Box does not save changes to documents edited in word. Really disappointed, as have been an box customer for 5 year. Terrible customer service, impossible to reach the help desk.

I've never worked with a less intuitive file sharing solution. Rather than provide a "File Manager" type experience with a slim feature set - this comes Out Of The Box with a completely unusable user experience. Simple things like "Share", Move, etc. are a chore.

I never used a cloud software before. that had such a good ui and then went to the worst one I ever seen. and i used all of them. wth happen to this software. also they some how broke sync and it never works now

I've opened up a case with helpdesk but they seem to not be able to recreate my issue. When I open a file directly from this app, I click "Yes" to save & upload changes as a new version. However when I'm in my file, even when I click Ctrl+S and exit the file, the changes do not sync back to the Box app and I try reopening the same file and see that my changes were not saved & all previous work has been lost. Helpdesk doesn't seem to have a solution for me and I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app.

Simple layout with easy to use features. Great work.

I use between home, office, laptop, table and android phone. I couldn't ask for a better file share system. Music, photos and office documents. Well done.

While I always loved Aaron Levie's vision for Box, to put this app to its best work, you really have to use Box Sync. Unfortunately, it's one of nastiest memory hogs. In our tests, it uses more MB than the sync apps of Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive COMBINED! Waiting for a leaner version.

On PC make transparent taskbar icon, add ability to put folders in directly. On mobile fix the hamburger menu layout and remove white bar at the top. (fixed) Fix that, and I will rate it 5 stars, the service itself and syncing speed is very good... I hope you will support this app in the future because it is very good for both Microsoft's new app platform and Box service. -Update: After a long time, the app got updated, I need to check the PC version of it to see other changes, but it now deserves 5 stars....

This is app is needs a ton of work. I love the Box app on my Android and iPhone, but this is terrible. Can't swipe or navigate between photos, the previews take forever to generate, editing and monitoring for changes is slow and unreliable, sometimes the changes don't show up in Box like the reupload failed. I was hoping to use this instead of Box sync or Box Edit, but no way.
