Robin Leonard Trower (born 9 March 1945) is an English rock guitarist and vocalist who achieved success with Procol Harum during the 1960s, and then again as the bandleader of his own power trio.
Trower was born in Catford, London but grew up in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. In 1962, he formed a group that became The Paramounts, later including Westcliff High School pupil Gary Brooker. The Paramounts disbanded in 1966 to pursue individual projects. During this time, Trower created a local three-piece band called the Jam (not to be confused with the later group with Paul Weller). Trower then joined Brooker's new band Procol Harum following the success of their debut single "A Whiter Shade of Pale" in 1967, remaining with them until 1971 and appearing on Procol Harum's first five albums.
Before launching his own eponymous band, he joined singer Frankie Miller, ex-Stone the Crows bassist/singer James Dewar, and former Jethro Tull drummer Clive Bunker to form the short-lived combo Jude. This outfit did not record and soon split up.
Robin may refer to:
The Bridge of Sighs (Italian: Ponte dei Sospiri) is a bridge located in Venice, northern Italy. The enclosed bridge is made of white limestone and has windows with stone bars. It passes over the Rio di Palazzo and connects the New Prison (Prigioni Nuove) to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace. It was designed by Antonio Contino (whose uncle Antonio da Ponte had designed the Rialto Bridge) and was built in 1600.
The view from the Bridge of Sighs was the last view of Venice that convicts saw before their imprisonment. The bridge name, given by Lord Byron as a translation from the Italian "Ponte dei sospiri" in the 19th century, comes from the suggestion that prisoners would sigh at their final view of beautiful Venice through the window before being taken down to their cells. In reality, the days of inquisitions and summary executions were over by the time the bridge was built and the cells under the palace roof were occupied mostly by small-time criminals. In addition, little could be seen from inside the Bridge due to the stone grills covering the windows.
Rolling Stoned is the debut studio album by American rapper Smoke DZA. The album was released on August 30, 2011, by iH2D and iHipHop Distribution. The album features guest appearances from Bun B, Big K.R.I.T., Kendrick Lamar, ASAP Rocky, Fiend, Den10, Dom Kennedy, Trademark da Skydiver, Schoolboy Q, Big Sant and Currensy.
In an August 2011, interview with Raw Roots, Smoke DZA spoke about what to expect from the album, saying: "You can expect the same thing. You can expect stellar production. A lot of anthems. In this particular album, I got a lot of features. Usually, I tend to dibble and dabble with features with the people I like. It’s people I listen to that I have genuine interest in. I don’t just do songs with just anyone unless it’s business but for my own purposes I always wanna do music with people that I can really have respect for. I got a lot of good features on this project, good production, good topics and a lotta anthems. I got a lot of stories to tell too so, it’ll be real cool."
"Little Bit" is a song by Swedish recording artist Lykke Li from her debut album, Youth Novels (2008). Produced by Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John and co-produced by Lasse Mårtén, the track was released in Sweden on 24 September 2007 as the album's lead single. It was included on the soundtrack to the HBO series Bored to Death, while a snippet of the song was used in the commercial for Victoria's Secret Ipex bra starring Heidi Klum. Also, rapper Charles Hamilton sampled the song on his track Starchasers from his mixtape It's Charles Hamilton. Canadian singer Drake remixed the song for his 2009 mixtape So Far Gone.

Interview with Robin Trower for the "Innerview" program hosted by Jim Ladd. This was taped on cassette by yours truly in April 1980, when it aired on KMET 94.7 FM Radio in Los Angeles. The sound quality is not the greatest. It was recorded on a cheap portable AM/FM cassette recorder in mono (I'm pretty sure that the radio broadcast was actually in stereo), and there's no lack of hiss and distortion, but I'm surprised that a 35 year old cassette produced any sound at all! It's a cool interview, and the focus is on one of his best recordings, "Victims of the Fury". Robin Trower - James Dewar - Bill Lordan

Read your letters
Line by line
Same old story
Doing just fine
You tell me that he loves you
But babe I believe you’re lyin’
You know I’ll love you better second time
Come back to me babe
Pack your clothes
No-one’s watching
Coz no-one knows
Now he don’t really want you
So stealin’ you ain’t no crime
I know you’ll love me better second time
He’s treats you dirty
Plays around
Leaves you hurtin’
But you won’t, no you won’t back down
The phone is ringing
What’s the news
Thought it over
Got nothing to lose
You say you’re on the run now
Coz neither ones worth a dime
So babe they’ll never be no second time
Stop your stallin’
Holdin’ out
Hear me calling
But you won’t, no you won’t back down
Robin guitar solo
He’s treats you dirty

Leaves you hurtin’
