From Sprout Distro

Here’s our semi-monthly (only because we missed last month) round-up of zines and pamphlets published and posted online during February 2017. While they aren’t all explicitly anarchist, they should be of general interest to much of the broad anarchist space.

From the introduction: Welcome to the fifth issue of FTP zine, our biannual report on anti-colonial, anti-state resistance, compiled within occupied Cadigal territory.

Like previous issues we have chosen to highlight acts of resistance to the Australian state and its control of this territory, such as attacks on its police, its prisons, its monuments and its schools.

The entirety of the content in this publication was found as public information online, and later compiled for this zine. Nothing here is the original content of those who may be responsible for this project.

In hopes of contributing to the growing discontent with the police and prisons, sections of the Ex-Worker podcast have been put together as two pamphlets by some independent @s.

The first pamphlet, entitled POLICE/POLICING and LIFE WITHOUT THE POLICE, discusses the origins of the police, police tactics, and how life could look without them.

The second, PRISONS and PRISON ABOLITION, looks at the prison system and how alternatives to it might look like.
