Halle Berry has responded to pregnancy rumours with humour, by saying she just likes her food.
The 50-year-old actress attended the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles in a fitted silver sequin dress that clung to her belly. She inexplicably tried to either hide or draw attention to that area by putting her hands over it as she was photographed.
The internet then erupted into "is she or isn't she" speculation, which Halle very quickly put to rest with an Instagram post of herself in bed with the caption, "Can a girl have some steak and fries??"
Which leaves one to wonder if steak and fries leave her looking a little bloated, what miserable kale-centric diet does she usually follow? And just quietly, I'm pretty happy I don't have paparazzi watching my belly closely because potatoes are my best friend.
A rep for Halle confirmed, "It is completely untrue. She is not pregnant."
