Aquí ("Here") is the title of the debut studio album by Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas, released on March 24, 1997. It was well received by the public. The two singles released were "De Mis Pasos" and "Cómo Sé".

Encarnita "Kany" García de Jesús (born September 25, 1982) is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter. Born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, García first appeared on television in 2004 as a contestant on Objetivo Fama. She is widely considered the most successful non-winner in the history of the show.

In 2006, García signed a recording contract with Sony BMG, releasing her debut album "Cualquier Día" (2007), which was a commercial success spawning four top 40 singles on the Billboard Latin Tracks. A year later, she released her second studio album, "Boleto De Entrada" (2009), which peaked within the top five of the Billboard Latin albums chart, and produced her first US Top 20 hit single, "Feliz" on Billboard Hot Latin Tracks. With great praise for her work, she has been nominated for 6 Latin Grammy awards and 2 Grammy Awards, and has won Best Female Pop Vocal Album for "Cualquier Día" and Best New Artist in 2008. She released her third studio album "Kany García" on July 31, 2012, where it debuted at #1 on Billboard Latin Pop Charts.

Abel Pintos

Abel Pintos (born in Bahía Blanca, on May 11, 1984), is an Argentinian singer-songwriter. He started his solo career at the age of 13 with his album Para cantar he nacido (I Was Born To Sing), supported financially by León Gieco. After the release of four studio albums, he started writing his own songs that marked a departure from his folk style.

He rose to prominence with La llave (The Key), although the CD and DVD Sueño dorado (Golden Dream), which marked fifteen years in the music industry, was his best-selling record of 2012. Along with artists such as Soledad Pastorutti and Luciano Pereyra, Pintos has been dubbed as a promising rising star of Argentinian folk music.

He was awarded the Gold Gardel prize for his CD and DVD Sueño Dorado.

Ana Carolina

Ana Carolina Sousa (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈɐ̃nɐ karoˈlinɐ], born September 9, 1974 in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil) is a Brazilian singer, composer, and musician.

Career

Carolina has a contralto vocal range. Her musical influence comes from the crib, her grandmother used to sing on the radio, and her great aunt and uncle played percussion, piano, cello, and violin. She grew up listening to Brazilian musical icons such as Chico Buarque, João Bosco, Maria Bethânia as well as international icons such as Nina Simone, Björk, and Alanis Morissette. She began her career singing in local bars.

With the determination to become a successful professional musician she left Minas Gerais and moved to Rio de Janeiro. Shortly after moving to Rio de Janeiro she signed a contract with the BMG recording company. She released her first CD, Ana Carolina in 1999, which was responsible for her nomination in the Latin Grammy Awards.

Her second album, Ana Rita Joana Iracema e Carolina was another success, released in 2001. The album's title is in reference to songs by the singer Chico Buarque, one of Ana Carolina's idols. This album contained hits like "Quem de nós dois" and "Ela é bamba".

No Hay

"No Hay" (English: There Is None) is a song by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen, from her eighth studio album, Musa (2012). It was composed by Queen and Hiram Cruz, produced by Cruz under his stage name Keko Musik. For the week of May 3, 2014, the song debuted at number 23 on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart. The official remix features J Alvarez.

Background

Ivy Queen told Efe that the composition process started while she was heartbroken at home. Her emotions then burst out in the recording studio. She wrote 26 songs for Drama Queen, her previous and seventh studio album, in which only 16 appear, "No Hay" brings together the lasting ten she composed during this period in her life. She explained that "The expectations I have with this album are quite realistic and can not be other than success and this is due to something that I did not think was possible without technology and the Internet". She says the two years away from the media has helped her, not just emotionally but mentally as well. "I like it, I think it is the best way to separate Ivelisse and Ivy Queen". She indicated that the album is "very mature and complete," because even though "her style is urban and the most predominant themes of reggaeton it also features fusions of rhythms and instruments that make their own style". She said she didn't want to sing just one genre of music but rather alternate between various. "I love music in general and this, when the album was born of my loins; I let the muse flow and there came my ten issues".
