He has won four times on the PGA Tour, though his last professional win came in 2004. He has featured in the top 20 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
After struggling to stay on the PGA Tour, Franco also played on the Web.com Tour and PGA Tour Latinoamérica. Franco joined the Champions Tour after turning 50.

Gran Casino (Alternate title: En el viejo Tampico) is a 1947 Mexican film. It was written by Mauricio Magdaleno and Edmundo Baez, based on a story by Michel Weber, and directed by Luis Buñuel.
Gerardo (Jorge Negrete) and his friend Demetrio (Julio Villarreal) are a pair of footloose cowboys in turn-of-the-century Mexico who are in prison on dubious charges. As Gerardo sings and strums on his guitar, Demetrio saws the bars of their cell, enabling them to escape. They come upon a small oil field operated by José Enrique (Francisco Jambrina), an entrepreneur from Argentina who is refusing to sell out to evil oil barons who threaten the workers. Gerardo persuades José to give work to him and his friends, and after he and Demetrio recruit more workers, they're able to rejuvenate the struggling operation. Just as their fortunes are on the rise, however, the oilman disappears and is feared murdered. Demetrio takes over the operation next, but, again, the night before the oil is to start pumping, he goes to the casino and falls for Camelia (Mercedes Barba), the same girl José was last seen with before he vanished, and he too disappears.
Franco De Vita (born January 23, 1954 in Caracas, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan Latin Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter. His first album as a solo artist garnered three Spanish-language hits in Venezuela. He signed with the CBS Records label in 1989, and in 1990, his album Extranjero had a song that reached No. 1 on the U.S. Latin charts and won an MTV Video Music Award. His 2004 album Stop reached the Top 10 throughout Latin America and on the U.S. Latin charts. In the United States alone, he has scored more than two dozen hits on the Billboard charts.
One of four children born in Venezuela to Italian immigrants, De Vita’s family returned to Rome, Italy when he was 3. The family moved back to Venezuela when De Vita was 13. Due to his upbringing in Rome, Italy, De Vita learned Italian as his first language and did not learn Spanish until he returned to Venezuela at age 13. He later studied piano at the university level. In 1982, De Vita formed the group Icaro, which released one self-titled album in his homeland. Two years later, he released his first disc as a solo artist, simply titled Franco De Vita (1984). The album spun off three Spanish-language hits: "Somos Tres", "No Hay Cielo", and "Un Buen Perdedor". His 1986 in album Fantasía produced several more hits, including the title song and "Aquí Estás Otra Vez". "Sólo Importas Tú", taken from the album, was used as the theme song to the Spanish-language soap opera La Dama De Rosa. He appeared in the end credits of every episode, performing the song at the piano.

For years, Juan Carlos was a hero in his country. He remains an icon for the Spanish people, the living embodiment of the democratic transition and the face of Franco-released Spain. How was he able to become the ardent defender of democracy? Designated as the Caudillo's dolphin, raised by Falangists or men of Opus Dei, how has he been able to form this progressive political ideal? Why did he believe in democracy that much? Or has he simply sought to remain on the throne at all costs, knowing that only a softening of the regime would allow this? This documentary attempts to answer these questions by analyzing his journey from childhood to the coup of 1981. Franco-Venezuelan artist Carloz Cruz-Diez has a lifetime of advice saved up for young artists - even though they may not want to listen. ”They should do what I did: Try to invent art and new discourses.” Learn how in this weeks interview. “I do not like giving advice. Because when I was young I didn’t like receiving it.” laughs Carlos Cruz-Diez, who has been considered one of the greats in OpArt since the 1960s. Cruz-Diez underlines the processual and on-going nature of an artistic practice in this interview: “It requires a great effort of reading, experiments, failures… And accepting those failures.” Cruz-Diez also poignantly advises to accept the drama of an artistic life. Young artists “should realise that art is not a precise profession with a happy ending.” The artist, like the sci...

Carlos Hathcock always wore a white feather on his cap, as if to dare enemy snipers to take a shot at him. They never succeeded. After his death, a variant of the M25 Rifle was named after him, called the White Feather. This video was made as a final project for my Multicultural Folktales, and I chose to focus on an occupational group, the US Military. I researched legends, myths, and ghost stories. Carlos Hathcock was a living legend. According to terms of Fair Use, "the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes."
