Düsseldorf (region)
Düsseldorf is one of the five Regierungsbezirke of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, located in the north-west of the country. It covers the western part of the Ruhr Area, as well as the Niederrheinische Tiefebene, the lower Rhine area. It is the most populated of all German administrative areas of the kind. It's the only area in Germany where the traditional dialects are Low Franconian, rather than Low German or High German.
It was created as a subdivision of the Prussian Rhineland when Prussia reformed its internal administration in 1815. In 1822 the Regierungsbezirk Kleve was incorporated into Regierungbezirk Düsseldorf.

Düsseldorf lies at the centre of the Lower Rhine basin, where the delta of the River Düssel flows into the Rhine. The city lies on the east side of the Rhine, except District 4 (Oberkassel, Niederkassel, Heerdt and Lörick). Across the Rhine, the city of Neuss stands on the delta of the Erft river. Düsseldorf lies southwest of the Ruhr urban area, and in the middle of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region. Düsseldorf is built entirely on alluvium, mud, sand, clay and occasionally gravel. The highest point in Düsseldorf is the top of Sandberg in the far eastern part of the city (Hubbelrath borough) at 165 metres (541 ft). The lowest point is at the far northern end in Wittlaer borough where the Schwarzbach enters the Rhine, with an average elevation of 28 metres (92 ft).

Düsseldorf is a city in western Germany known for its fashion industry and art scene. It's divided by the Rhine River, with its Altstadt (Old Town) on the east bank and modern commercial areas to the west. In the Altstadt, St. Lambertus Church and Schlossturm (Castle Tower) both date to the 13th century. Streets such as Königsallee and Schadowstrasse are lined with boutique shops.
Dusseldorf is the capital city of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the seventh most populous city in Germany. Düsseldorf is an international business and financial centre, renowned for its fashion and trade fairs. The city is headquarters to one Fortune Global 500 and two DAX companies. Messe Düsseldorf organises nearly one fifth of premier trade shows. Düsseldorf lies at the centre of the Lower Rhine basin, where the delta of the River Düssel flows into the Rhine. The city lies on the east side of the Rhine, except District 4 (Oberkassel, Niederkassel, Heerdt and Lörick). Across the Rhine, the city of Neuss stands on the delta of the Erft river. Düsseldorf lies southwest of the Ruhr urban area, and in the middle of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region. Düsseldorf is built entirely on alluvium, mud, sand, clay and occasionally gravel. The highest point in Düsseldorf is the top of Sandberg in the far eastern part of the city (Hubbelrath borough) at 165 metres (541 ft). The lowest point is at the far northern end in Wittlaer borough where the Schwarzbach enters the Rhine, with an average elevation of 28 metres (92 ft).

If you visit Dusseldorf you must go to Rhine Tower (Rheinturm) ( Dusseldorf - Germany ) as the view is fantastic. You do have to pay to get in but its worth it.
It is very pleasant and amazing to go up to Rhine Tower (Rheinturm) ( Dusseldorf - Germany ) . The view of the town and the river is very powerful. Good for taking pictures and to have a coffee.
Rhine Tower (Rheinturm) ( Dusseldorf - Germany ) is classic for tourists - so must be done! The view when you reach the top is spectacular - worth the time and money.

Thanks for finding my video and pressing play!
In this video, I take a British Airways Airbus A320 between Malaga Costa del Sol Airport and London Gatwick, in their Club Europe business class cabin.
Unbeknown to me, this flight took place on the first day of British Airways’ brand new Club Europe service. This “new” service has some winners and losers compared to the previous regime, but fortunately this flight’s one of the ones which has seen a significant improvement! Previously, this 1130 departure would have been a brunch flight, attracting only a cold continental meat plate. Now, there is a full lunch, with three courses (including a very tasty starter!).
Overall, this flight was a pleasant surprise, with significant improvements over what I was expecting.
