EMPIRE is a powerful drama about a family dynasty set within the glamorous and sometimes dangerous world of hip-hop music. Cookieaims to start over, in pursuit of her own happiness – a series of flashbacks reveal how Loretha Holloway became Cookie Lyon and how Cookie met Lucious. Meanwhile, the Lyon brothers – Andre, Jamal and Hakeem – all are determined to overcome the events of last season and move on, but the choices they face will become a battle for the soul of the Lyon family.

Lyon or Lyons (UK /liːˈɒn/ or /ˈliːɒn/;French pronunciation: [ljɔ̃], locally: [lijɔ̃]; Arpitan: Liyon [ʎjɔ̃]) is a city in east-central France, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, situated between Paris and Marseille. The municipality (commune) of Lyon has a population of 500,715 (2013) and is France's third-largest city after Paris and Marseille. Lyon is the seat of the metropolis of Lyon, and the capital of both the department of Rhône and the region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The greater metropolitan area of Lyon, a concept for statistical purposes that is not an administrative division, has a population of 2,214,068 (2012), which makes it the second-largest metropolitan area in France after Île-de-France (Paris).

The X Factor
The X Factor is a television music competition franchise created by Simon Cowell. It originated in the United Kingdom, where it was devised as a replacement for Pop Idol (2001–2003). It is held in various countries. The programmes are produced by executive producer Simon Cowell and his company SYCOtv. The "X Factor" of the title refers to the undefinable "something" that makes for star quality. The prize is usually a recording contract, in addition to the publicity that appearance in the later stages of the show itself generates, not only for the winner but also for other highly ranked contestants.
The similarities between The X Factor and Idols prompted Idol creator Simon Fuller, along with 19 Entertainment, to file a lawsuit against Cowell, SYCOtv, and FremantleMedia in 2004. An out-of-court settlement was reached in 2005 allowing Fuller to gain a 10% share in The X Factor format, and preventing an American version until 2010. Fuller later filed another lawsuit in 2011, claiming that he had also been promised that he would be credited as an executive producer of The X Factor USA, but that Syco, FremantleMedia, and Fox Broadcasting Company had failed to fulfill that promise; that lawsuit is pending.

EMPIRE is a powerful drama about a family dynasty set within the glamorous and sometimes dangerous world of hip-hop music. I spend 3 days in Lyon and it is by far the most dynamic city i've been to in France. The serene Basilica Notre Dame overlooking the city to the Tour Metalique which looks very similar to the Eiffel tower in Paris! The oldest Roman ruins in France can be found here and not to mention some UNESCO heritage listed monuments! Lunch in the Parc Tate D'or and a free zoo you can see some wild animals! If you like shopping the the Gare Part Dieu shopping centre has about a million shops, not to mention the same amount of people in the mall at the same time! Lyon is a city you really need to see and it's so easy to get to via train from Paris. 1 and 1/2 hours later and you're there!

The Rhône and Saône Rivers converge to the south of the historic city centre forming a peninsula or "Presqu'île". West of the Presqu'île, the original medieval city (Vieux Lyon) was built on the west bank of the Saône river at the foot of the Fourvière hill. I spend 3 days in Lyon and it is by far the most dynamic city i've been to in France. The serene Basilica Notre Dame overlooking the city to the Tour Metalique which looks very similar to the Eiffel tower in Paris! The oldest Roman ruins in France can be found here and not to mention some UNESCO heritage listed monuments!
Lunch in the Parc Tate D'or and a free zoo you can see some wild animals!
If you like shopping the the Gare Part Dieu shopping centre has about a million shops, not to mention the same amount of people in the mall at the same time!
Lyon is a city you really need to see and it's so easy to get to via train from Paris. 1 and 1/2 hours later and you're there!
