An institute is an organisational body created for a certain purpose.
Often they are research organisations (research institutions) created to do research on specific topics. An institute can also be a professional body.
In some countries institutes can be part of a university or other institutions of higher education, either as a group of departments or an autonomous educational institution without a traditional university status such as a "university Institute". (See Institute of Technology)
The word "institute" comes from the Latin word institutum meaning "facility" or "habit"; from instituere meaning "build", "create", "raise" or "educate".
In some countries, such as South Korea and Japan, private schools are sometimes called institutes, rather than schools. In Spain secondary schools are called institutes.
In the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man the term "institute" is a protected word and companies or other organizations may only use the word if they are "organisations which are carrying out research at the highest level or to professional bodies of the highest standing". Furthermore, if a company is carrying on a business under a different name to the company name, that business name must comply with the Business Names Act. Use of the title "institute" requires approval from the Secretary of State. Failure to seek approval is a criminal offence.
The Institute may refer to:

Institute's anticipated new record has released on Sacred Bones Records today and man is it nice. This punk band from Austin, Texas/New York is undoubtedly one of my favorite current bands. Compared to Catharsis this album is a bit darker and louder, kind of reminds me of a more refined version of their demo sound. *ALSO, as usual, under the tracklist I always have a bandcamp link and/or a link to purchase physical copies of the music on this channel, if you like these bands support them! Yet another instance of an album being uploaded track by track and thrown into a playlist. I don't like that. I want to fix that. So here. The tracks were uploaded by the same dudes who released the record, Sacred Bones Records. Sacred Bones, if you're watching this and want this vid taken down, don't bother with a copyright claim. Just hit me up with a PM or email and I'll remove it, no probs. Just lettin' you know that some people might prefer the content to be condensed and in one place, is all. This is Institute, one of Austin's crowning punk bands. Sharing members of Glue and Wiccans, the band's debut demo blew me away. The songs were slow, drawn-out, and filled with absolute anguish from the disinterested vocals. It was vastly different amongst the unending sea of hardcore punk band...

So just cry your fears, yea I need you everyday
Inside you I just want to wype away your fears
So just cry your tears yea
