Her culinary experience started while watching her mother test numerous recipes at home while editing cookbooks. She worked under Larry Forgione, and then at a number of restaurants in France, New York and Los Angeles, including Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot. She also worked at Daniel Boulud's eponymous restaurant and Joachim Splichal's Patina before becoming the executive chef at Butter. On April 29, 2007, she married Brandon Clark; they have one daughter, Ava.
Chopped is an American reality-based cooking television game show series created by Dave Noll and Michael Krupat, with executive producer Linda Lea, and hosted by Ted Allen that pits four chefs against each other competing for a chance to win $10,000. New episodes air every Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on Food Network.
In each episode, four chefs compete. Their challenge is to take a mystery basket of ingredients and turn them into a dish that is judged on their creativity, presentation, and taste. The show is divided into three rounds: "Appetizer", "Entrée", and "Dessert". In each round, the chefs are given a basket containing between three and five ingredients, and the dish each competitor prepares must contain some of each ingredient in some way, and although forgetting an ingredient isn't an automatic disqualification, the judges will take such an occurrence into consideration. The ingredients are often not commonly prepared together. For example, in "Yucca, Watermelon, Tortillas," (originally aired on February 10, 2009) the appetizer "course baskets" contained watermelon, canned sardines, pepper jack cheese, and zucchini.
Ted Allen (born May 20, 1965) is an American writer, cookbook author, and television personality. He was the food and wine connoisseur on the American Bravo network's television program Queer Eye and has been the host of the TV cooking competition series Chopped since its launch in 2009, and of "Chopped Junior," which began in mid-2015. In April 13, 2014, he became the host of another Food Network show, originally called America's Best Cook; a retooled version of that show, retitled All-Star Academy, debuted on March 1, 2015. In early 2015, he also hosted a four-part special, Best. Ever., which scoured the country for its best burgers, pizza, breakfast, and barbecue. He is a longtime contributing writer to Esquire magazine, the author of two cookbooks, and regularly appears on the Food Network show The Best Thing I Ever Ate and other television cooking shows.
Allen was born in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Donna K. (Evans) and Lowell Reese Allen.
Allen is openly gay and lives in New York City with his partner of 20 years, Barry Rice. On June 26, 2013, he announced that he was engaged to Rice. On July 30, 2013, the two were married in New York City.

Feed us, tease us
I've got this power in my genitals
Let me go on for
Tease me, I'll stand high
Attention deficit
Don't pull short of what I'm near
I will tease her
Beautiful, a tease, yea.
Can your dick support your body weight?
Turn round and let me show you what I mean
Yea, yea, ..?
I've played with other girls
But Kinder is my whore
I will tease her
I'm more and more, of yours
And I'll wait, ah-hai
And I'll wait, ah-hai
And I'll wait, ah-hai
Cause I'm not afraid, tease her
You've got the best of me, yeah
Figured out
Cause I'm not afraid, tease her
You've got the best of me, yeah
Figured out
Pull!
I went, I went to the bottom,
I slip, for me it's you
Oh sweet, as papa's girl should be
Oh shit, what have I found?
I twisted
And my arms hurt
And I took down
Oh yeah to the bottom
Do I scare you?
Well I should be
(Its broken) I bore them
You know youll break in scaredom
You wont fight when your sore
Come on you have to break that change
Youll slip when your sore
Get up, arent your arms still working?
Youll slip when your sore
