That's the thing about a traditional Irish music pub session - you're never quite sure what you're going to get. So this set of tunes was in full flow when not one but three dancers get stuck into the tunes, tap dancing their way around the floor. The musicians are Emmet O'Halloran & Seán McManus on button accordion, Ciarán McManus on fiddle, Gary Fitzpatrick & Liam McManus on flute, Emma Fitzpatrick on bodhrán. The dancers are Peggy McAney, Ciarán & Liam McManus. Part of a live session streamed on LiveTrad.com on Friday December 7th 2012 at The Fiddlestone Bar in Belleek, Co. Fermanagh, and part of the John Joe Gordon Music Festival. Connect with us: http:www.LiveTrad.com http://www.facebook.com/livetrad http://www.twitter.com/livetrad
http://www.epictv.com Next up on our day of Top 3's we are getting rid of the bolts and going trad climbing, this is who we think have been at the top of their game in the trad world of 2013. 3. James McHaffie and Ben Bransby climb the Long Hope route on the Island of Hoy, Scotland. The route was originally done by Oliver Hill and Ed Drummond but required a lot of aid. Dave Mcleod and Andy Turner went up and freed it in 2011, grading it E10 and saying that the crux was 8b. https://vimeo.com/67457960 2. Nico Favresse climbs "Recovery Drink", the hardest crack climb in Norway. The route is 35m long and situated on the Profile wall in Jossingfjord, in the south of the Country. Rumours of 9a abound...https://vimeo.com/57373499 1. The top spot goes to a day, a very historic day indeed, a da...

The story of Squib Climbing the First Ascent of Augmentium (30, 8a+) in Freycinet National Park, TASMANIA
http://www.epictv.com It maybe be a bit chilly in most parts of Europe but in the reasonably balmy conditions of central Italy, James Pearson has made a free ascent of Mauro Calibani's route, 'Is not always Pasqua', at Collina di Interprete. The route was first climbed in 2002 after the first ascensionist had watched the legendary film 'Hard Grit' and had been over to the Peak District to sample it for himself, before returning to Italy to climb 'Is not always'. He graded it E9 7a (hard) and it has only been repeated once before this, by Christian Brenna.
