Conservative British TV presenter Piers Morgan has found himself the target of online jeers, after he was emphatically mocked by co-host Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain.
Morgan – whose antagonistic antics have found him embroiled in feuds with the likes of JK Rowling, Emma Watson, Ewan McGregor and Aussie comedian Jim Jefferies on issues such as Brexit, women's rights, and anti-Trump protests – was ranting about people who talk politics on social media when the tables turned.

During a segment of Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid delivers a brutal on-air mocking to co-host Piers Morgan.
"I get annoyed when people start banging on about politics on Facebook. I've had to unfriend family members, 'cause it's like I can't... I need some respite," Morgan, without a hint of irony, told viewers.
"Can't you just put a picture of your little kid, y'know, having an ice-cream or something?"
Reid, rolling her eyes, instantly hit back.
"I know exactly what you mean," she sighed.
"Someone just keeps going on and on and on, and you just need respite and a break. And you just wish you could defriend them, but you're just forced every day to listen to their views... I know exactly how you feel," she said.
Morgan was resigned to staring off speechless in the wake of Reid's stinging comeback.

As the gleeful headlines poured in revelling in Reid's burn, Morgan took to Twitter with a somewhat conciliatory message to his co-host.
"Apparently, you've 'dragged' me all over the globe," he told Reid. "Congrats."
Reid, a former broadcast journalist who'd hosted the ITV breakfast show for almost a year-and-a-half before Morgan was brought in on November 2015, has been labelled "the most tolerant woman on TV" thanks to her demanding gig.
Earlier this week, a video highlighting her reactions to Morgan's endless blowharding also went viral, after Reid shared it with her 421,000 Twitter followers.
