Reality show about Meghan Markle

A new reality show Meet the Markles is being made, but what role will Meghan Markle play?

Britain's Channel 4 is developing a fly-on-the-wall show that dives into the private life of Prince Harry's squeeze, Meghan Markle.

But before you get too excited, there's a catch: The Suits star won't appear in the series. Instead, it will feature interviews with the 35-year-old's friends and family.

We don't yet know who exactly will appear on camera screen to spill Markle's secrets. However, a source told The Sun things could get "dramatic".

"Channel 4 are going to go deeper into her past than anyone before," the source said. "They want to discover new things about her family."

Markle is the daughter of Emmy-award winning lighting director Thomas Markle. Her mother, Doria Radlan, is a therapist and yoga instructor.

The insider said at this stage, the reality TV series will tell the story of some of Markle's ancestors as well as how she and Harry first met.

"The film also considers her possible future role in the royal family," they said.

The Channel 4 series, which does not yet have a name, is set to air later this year.
