Perth student bashed inside his home after noise complaint

An international student living in Mandurah was bashed inside his home after making a complaint about his noisy neighbours on Wednesday.

9 News Perth reported 28-year-old Prabhgeet Sandhu suffered serious head and eye injuries and was now too scared to stay at his home.

Student bashed in Mandurah home

Prabhgeet Sandhu was attacked after speaking to a neighbour about some noise.

"I can't even see properly with this eye," he said.

The part-time Uber driver said he was attacked about 8:30pm after going downstairs to have a word with his neighbours about the noise they were making.

Mr Sandhu said after he got back to his unit a man burst through his door and started attacking him while he sat in his living room.

He wa punched several times before fleeing to the bathroom and locking himself in.

A man in his 20s has been taken into custody by police and is being questioned by detectives, 9 News said.
