Timur, or Tamerlane, was the leader of the Mongol Empire and the Muslim World in the 14th century.

Timur was a cattle thief as a youngster and a member of the Chagatai Khanate army. There, he showed his leadership and battle skills and soon was getting promoted.
After the death of the khan, the khanate was faced with political unrest and land claims from other khans. Timur used this situation to weaken all opponents, by switching from side to side multiple times. Once he was the strongest, Timur became an all-powerful amir of his khanate.
Timur helped the khan of Golden Horde against the Russians, and soon after invaded Persia. There, he was met with little or no resistance and his conquering was swift. However, Golden Horde wanted to use this situation to attack him but Timur easily won against them and occupied Moscow.
In the following years, Timur conquered almost the whole of Persia and parts of Egypt, the Ottomans and India. He was ruthless against the enemy and would often kill most of the population of the conquered cities. He is believed to have wiped out around 17 million people.
During the last days of his reign, Timur was preparing for invasion against China but fell ill and died before the attack could take place.

In 1398, Timur (Tamerlane) invaded India with an aim of destroying the hindu kings and rulers. Also, he felt that the Muslim sultans of Delhi were showing great tolerance to their Hindu subordinates.
The invasion of India by Timur had a great significance in the history. Timur is known as a ferocious ruler who did not hesitate to massacre the inhabitants of his conquered cities. Timur's invasion of India led to the destruction of the agricultural fields and crops, granaries were plundered, trade and commerce fell. There was a terrible famine in Delhi after the war. The whole suburbs became infectious due to the massacre of the people with bloods and bodies laid all over. A large number of people were butchered. The north western provinces were ravaged and laid in waste. The Tughlaq Empire was completely liquidated. Delhi lost its richness, its glory, its people, and its rule. All builders, stone-masons and craftsmen were taken as prisoners to build Timur's seat of his empire, Masjid-i jami, in his capital city Samarkand, which was one of its kind in the country.
According to Historians, one of Timur's greatest achievements was the capture and invasion of the Delhi Sultanate. This conquest had undoubtedly surpassed other great invasions of India, such as that of Alexander the Great or Genghis Khan. The reason being, it was this invasion of Delhi which took away the entire richness of the city and harsh conditions were inflicted on the people. After Delhi was conquered by Timur's army, few uproars took place by the people against the Turkic-Mongols. But, these led to more bloody massacre within the city. Timur destroyed the entire Delhi Sultanate and also the Tughlaq dynasty. It is said that Delhi took almost a century to recover and emerge again from this great loss.

Timur, Cengiz Hɑn ile ɑkrɑbɑlığɑ ɑyrı bir önem vermiştir.Cengiz Hɑn'ın soyundɑn gelmediği için "Hɑn" unvɑnını kullanamamış yerine "Emir" unvɑnını kullɑnmıştır ancak Cengiz Hɑn soyundɑn birini Hɑn olɑrɑk yɑnındɑ tɑşımıştır.

Büyük İskender, Sezar ve Cengiz Han’daki dünyaya hükmetme isteği onda da vardır.’’Madem ki gökte bir tanrı var; dünya üzerinde de tek bir hükümdar olmalı. Zaten yeryüzü bir kişinin isteklerine yanıt veremeyecek kadar küçük’’” sözüyle bu isteğini açıkça belirtir.
İran seferi sonrasında,Türkleri hep kötüleyen İranlı şair Firdevsi’nin mezarını tekmeleyip, tüm ordusunu mezara işetmiş ve mezarı tahrip ettirmiştir.
Timur fetihlerine devam ederken yıldırım Beyazid de Osmanlı Devleti’ni hızla genişletmektedir. Timur doğudaki orduları dize getirirken, aynı işi Yıldırım batıdaki haçlı ordularına yapmaktadır. Dünya ikisi de aynı dinden ve aynı ırktan olan bu iki hükümdara dar gelmiştir. Yeryüzü egemenliğine ulaşma hırsı er ya da geç iki devi karşı karşıya getirecektir. Bu nedenle Timur’la Yıldırım Beyazıt’ın Ankara ovasında karşı karşıya gelmesi kuşkusuz kaçınılmaz bir sondu.İki büyük Türk devleti aynı bölgelerde egemenlik mücadelesine girişmişlerdi.
Timur daha büyük, daha güçlü, daha disiplinli bir ordu ile Yıldırım'ın karşısına çıkmıştır. Ortaçağın en büyük meydan savaşı olarak adlandırılan bu savaşı aslında Yıldırım Beyazıt başladığı an kaybetmişti.
mezarı açtıktan 3 gün sonra 22 haziran 1941'de Nazi Almanya’sı Sovyetler Birliği’ne savaş ilan etti. Timur’un iskeleti Sovyetler Birliği’ni dolandıkça milyonlarca Rus savaşta hayatını kaybediyordu. Bu felaketin ancak kemikler yeniden yerine konulursa son bulacağı söylenince Timur’un kemikleri 1945 te yeniden mezarına konuldu ve 2.dünya savaşı son buldu.
Timur’un Ankara savaşı'nda kullandığı fil müfrezelerinin komutanının ismi, İSİN BUGA idi. bu generalin ismi sonradan halk arasında Esenboğa'ya dönüşmüş, bu isim de altı yüz yıl önceki savaşın olduğu ovaya yapılan Ankara havalimanının ismi olmuştur.

Untuk arus mudik 2017, kami menyebar kru pantauan arus mudik 2017 mulai dari jalur pantura, jalur selatan sampai mudik arah Sumatera. Tentu tidak ketinggalan arus mudik 2017 di berbagai area lain mulai dari Surabaya, Bali, Sulawesi Selatan, Kalimantan, dan berbagai tempat lain di Indonesia.
Mudik menjadi fenomena khas yang ada di Indonesia. Meski ada di sejumlah negara lain, mudik di Indonesia adalah tradisi penting, terutama Mudik Lebaran. Mudik lebaran menjadi ajang silaturahmi penting bagi jutaan kelaurga di Indonesia.
Di mudik lebaran 2017 ini, berbagai hal penting menjadi perhatian. Mengingat di mudik lebaran tahun lalu, tragedi akibat macet mudik terjadi di jalur mudik, terutama di area Brebes atau populer dengan Brexit, Brebes Exit di kawasan Pantura. Khusus pantura atau pantai utara Jawa, jalur mudik tahun ini semakin jauh. Mudik Pantura tidak lagi di area Brebes, tapi hingga Gringsing, jauh di Jawa Tengah. Kebanyakan jalur mudik ini telah memilki tol mudik. Jalan tol memang menjadi urat nadi utama mudik. Kemajuan jalur mudik Pantura ini patut diapresiasi, dan juga diwaspadai. Macet mudik dan ancaman keselamatan perlu menjadi perhatian pemudik. Mengingat, jalur mudik ini baru saja jadi, belum siap seratus persen. Dalam pantauan tim Go Mudik CNN Indonesia, banyak prasarana jalur mudik Pantura ini yang belum siap. Mengingat pentingnya jalur mudik Pantura, penting kiranya untuk CNN Indonesia terus menerus melakukan update dari jalur Pantura ini. Jangan sampai tragedi Brexit terjadi lagi di pantauan mudik 2017 ini.
Sedangkan di jalur mudik selatan, belum banyak perubahan yang terjadi dalam mudik 2017 ini. Jalur selatan masih baik dalam mencapai Nagrek dan kemudian Garut. CNN Indonesia tetap menyampaikan laporannya dari jalur mudik selatan ini. Semoga tidak terjadi macet mudik di tahun 2017 ini.

Timur (Persian: تیمور Timūr, Chagatai: Temür, Uzbek: Temur; died 18 February 1405), historically known as Tamerlane (Persian: تيمور لنگ Timūr(-e) Lang, "Timur the Lame"), was a Turco-Mongol conqueror and the founder of the Timurid Empire in Persia and Central Asia. He was also the first ruler in the Timurid dynasty.
Born into the Barlas confederation in Transoxiana during the 1320s or 1330s, Timur gained control of the western Chagatai Khanate by 1370. From that base, he led military campaigns across Western, South and Central Asia, Caucasus and southern Russia, and emerged as the most powerful ruler in the Muslim world after defeating the Mamluks of Egypt and Syria, the emerging Ottoman Empire and the declining Delhi Sultanate. From these conquests he founded the Timurid Empire, but this empire fragmented shortly after his death.
Timur is considered the last of the great nomadic conquerors of the Eurasian Steppe, and his empire set the stage for the rise of the more structured and lasting Gunpowder Empires in the 1500s and 1600s.

CNN Indonesia

İslamiyeti yayma amacıyla Hindistan’a yaptığı seferde bir ay içerisinde 20 savaşa girip kazanarak tarihe geçmiş ve Hindistan’ın tamamını kendi topraklarına katmıştır. Bu savaşlar sırasında kafir oldukları ve ateşe taptıkları gerekçesiyle 100.000 Hintlinin kafalarını kestirip,Ganj nehrine attırmıştır. Cengiz Han soyundan gelen Çağatay Hanı Kɑzɑn Hɑn'ın kızı Sɑrɑy Mülk Hɑnımı nikɑhınɑ ɑlɑrɑk soylu bir ünvana kavuşur ve Cengiz Hanın soyunun damadı anlamına gelen Küregen lakabını taşımaya hak kazanır. Timur, Cengiz Hɑn ile ɑkrɑbɑlığɑ ɑyrı bir önem vermiştir.Cengiz Hɑn'ın soyundɑn gelmediği için "Hɑn" unvɑnını kullanamamış yerine "Emir" unvɑnını kullɑnmıştır ancak Cengiz Hɑn soyundɑn birini Hɑn olɑrɑk yɑnındɑ tɑşımıştır. Timur'un kurduğu imparatorluk, Türk-Moğol devlet esɑslɑrı ve ɑskeri teşkilɑtı unsurlɑrı ile İslɑm medeniyeti unsurlɑrını bünyesinde bir ɑrɑdɑ bɑrındırmɑktaydı. Bunların yanı sırɑ Timur'un, Ortɑ Asyɑ göçebelerinin islɑmlɑşmɑsındɑ büyük rolü olmuştur. Müslümɑn olmɑsının yɑnı sırɑ eski Türk-Moğol geleneklerini de yɑşɑtmɑyɑ çɑlışmış ve Cengiz Hɑn yɑsɑsınɑ çok önem vermiştir. Büyük İskender, Sezar ve Cengiz Han’daki dünyaya hükmetme isteği onda da vardır.’’Madem ki gökte bir tanrı var; dünya üzerinde de tek bir hükümdar olmalı. Zaten yeryüzü bir kişinin isteklerine yanıt veremeyecek kadar küçük’’” sözüyle bu isteğini açıkça belirtir. İran seferi sonrasında,Türkleri hep kötüleyen İranlı şair Firdevsi’nin mezarını tekmeleyip, tüm ordusunu mezara işetmiş ve mezarı tahrip ettirmiştir. Timur fetihlerine devam ederken yıldırım Beyazid de Osmanlı Devleti’ni hızla genişletmektedir. Timur doğudaki orduları dize getirirken, aynı işi Yıldırım batıdaki haçlı ordularına yapmaktadır. Dünya ikisi de aynı dinden ve aynı ırktan olan bu iki hükümdara dar gelmiştir. Yeryüzü egemenliğine ulaşma hırsı er ya da geç iki devi karşı karşıya getirecektir. Bu nedenle Timur’la Yıldırım Beyazıt’ın Ankara ovasında karşı karşıya gelmesi kuşkusuz kaçınılmaz bir sondu.İki büyük Türk devleti aynı bölgelerde egemenlik mücadelesine girişmişlerdi. Timur daha büyük, daha güçlü, daha disiplinli bir ordu ile Yıldırım'ın karşısına çıkmıştır. Ortaçağın en büyük meydan savaşı olarak adlandırılan bu savaşı aslında Yıldırım Beyazıt başladığı an kaybetmişti. mezarı açtıktan 3 gün sonra 22 haziran 1941'de Nazi Almanya’sı Sovyetler Birliği’ne savaş ilan etti. Timur’un iskeleti Sovyetler Birliği’ni dolandıkça milyonlarca Rus savaşta hayatını kaybediyordu. Bu felaketin ancak kemikler yeniden yerine konulursa son bulacağı söylenince Timur’un kemikleri 1945 te yeniden mezarına konuldu ve 2.dünya savaşı son buldu. Timur’un Ankara savaşı'nda kullandığı fil müfrezelerinin komutanının ismi, İSİN BUGA idi. bu generalin ismi sonradan halk arasında Esenboğa'ya dönüşmüş, bu isim de altı yüz yıl önceki savaşın olduğu ovaya yapılan Ankara havalimanının ismi olmuştur. -

Timur was a cattle thief as a youngster and a member of the Chagatai Khanate army. There, he showed his leadership and battle skills and soon was getting promoted.
After the death of the khan, the khanate was faced with political unrest and land claims from other khans. Timur used this situation to weaken all opponents, by switching from side to side multiple times. Once he was the strongest, Timur became an all-powerful amir of his khanate.
Timur helped the khan of Golden Horde against the Russians, and soon after invaded Persia. There, he was met with little or no resistance and his conquering was swift. However, Golden Horde wanted to use this situation to attack him but Timur easily won against them and occupied Moscow.
In the following years, Timur conquered almost the whole of Persia and parts of Egypt, the Ottomans and India. He was ruthless against the enemy and would often kill most of the population of the conquered cities. He is believed to have wiped out around 17 million people.
During the last days of his reign, Timur was preparing for invasion against China but fell ill and died before the attack could take place.

In 1398, Timur (Tamerlane) invaded India with an aim of destroying the hindu kings and rulers. Also, he felt that the Muslim sultans of Delhi were showing great tolerance to their Hindu subordinates.
The invasion of India by Timur had a great significance in the history. Timur is known as a ferocious ruler who did not hesitate to massacre the inhabitants of his conquered cities. Timur's invasion of India led to the destruction of the agricultural fields and crops, granaries were plundered, trade and commerce fell. There was a terrible famine in Delhi after the war. The whole suburbs became infectious due to the massacre of the people with bloods and bodies laid all over. A large number of people were butchered. The north western provinces were ravaged and laid in waste. The Tughlaq Empire was completely liquidated. Delhi lost its richness, its glory, its people, and its rule. All builders, stone-masons and craftsmen were taken as prisoners to build Timur's seat of his empire, Masjid-i jami, in his capital city Samarkand, which was one of its kind in the country.
According to Historians, one of Timur's greatest achievements was the capture and invasion of the Delhi Sultanate. This conquest had undoubtedly surpassed other great invasions of India, such as that of Alexander the Great or Genghis Khan. The reason being, it was this invasion of Delhi which took away the entire richness of the city and harsh conditions were inflicted on the people. After Delhi was conquered by Timur's army, few uproars took place by the people against the Turkic-Mongols. But, these led to more bloody massacre within the city. Timur destroyed the entire Delhi Sultanate and also the Tughlaq dynasty. It is said that Delhi took almost a century to recover and emerge again from this great loss.

Cengiz Han soyundan gelen Çağatay Hanı Kɑzɑn Hɑn'ın kızı Sɑrɑy Mülk Hɑnımı nikɑhınɑ ɑlɑrɑk soylu bir ünvana kavuşur ve Cengiz Hanın soyunun damadı anlamına gelen Küregen lakabını taşımaya hak kazanır. Timur, Cengiz Hɑn ile ɑkrɑbɑlığɑ ɑyrı bir önem vermiştir.Cengiz Hɑn'ın soyundɑn gelmediği için "Hɑn" unvɑnını kullanamamış yerine "Emir" unvɑnını kullɑnmıştır ancak Cengiz Hɑn soyundɑn birini Hɑn olɑrɑk yɑnındɑ tɑşımıştır.
Timur'un kurduğu imparatorluk, Türk-Moğol devlet esɑslɑrı ve ɑskeri teşkilɑtı unsurlɑrı ile İslɑm medeniyeti unsurlɑrını bünyesinde bir ɑrɑdɑ bɑrındırmɑktaydı. Timur fetihlerine devam ederken yıldırım Beyazid de Osmanlı Devleti’ni hızla genişletmektedir. Timur doğudaki orduları dize getirirken, aynı işi Yıldırım batıdaki haçlı ordularına yapmaktadır. Dünya ikisi de aynı dinden ve aynı ırktan olan bu iki hükümdara dar gelmiştir. Yeryüzü egemenliğine ulaşma hırsı er ya da geç iki devi karşı karşıya getirecektir. Bu nedenle Timur’la Yıldırım Beyazıt’ın Ankara ovasında karşı karşıya gelmesi kuşkusuz kaçınılmaz bir sondu.İki büyük Türk devleti aynı bölgelerde egemenlik mücadelesine girişmişlerdi.
Timur daha büyük, daha güçlü, daha disiplinli bir ordu ile Yıldırım'ın karşısına çıkmıştır. Ortaçağın en büyük meydan savaşı olarak adlandırılan bu savaşı aslında Yıldırım Beyazıt başladığı an kaybetmişti.
mezarı açtıktan 3 gün sonra 22 haziran 1941'de Nazi Almanya’sı Sovyetler Birliği’ne savaş ilan etti. Timur’un iskeleti Sovyetler Birliği’ni dolandıkça milyonlarca Rus savaşta hayatını kaybediyordu. Bu felaketin ancak kemikler yeniden yerine konulursa son bulacağı söylenince Timur’un kemikleri 1945 te yeniden mezarına konuldu ve 2.dünya savaşı son buldu.
Timur’un Ankara savaşı'nda kullandığı fil müfrezelerinin komutanının ismi, İSİN BUGA idi. bu generalin ismi sonradan halk arasında Esenboğa'ya dönüşmüş, bu isim de altı yüz yıl önceki savaşın olduğu ovaya yapılan Ankara havalimanının ismi olmuştur.

CNN Indonesia kembali menghadirkan laporan mudik dengan banner Go Mudik 2017. Go Mudik CNN Indonesia hadir sebagai produsen berita Mudik 2017 bagi berbagai channel di Transmedia Grup, seperti Trans TV, Trans7, CNN Indonesia, CNN Indonesia.com. Terkadang, berita Mudik 2017 dari CNN Indonesia masuk di halaman detikcom sebagai sister company kami.
Untuk arus mudik 2017, kami menyebar kru pantauan arus mudik 2017 mulai dari jalur pantura, jalur selatan sampai mudik arah Sumatera. Tentu tidak ketinggalan arus mudik 2017 di berbagai area lain mulai dari Surabaya, Bali, Sulawesi Selatan, Kalimantan, dan berbagai tempat lain di Indonesia.
Mudik menjadi fenomena khas yang ada di Indonesia. Meski ada di sejumlah negara lain, mudik di Indonesia adalah tradisi penting, terutama Mudik Lebaran. Mudik lebaran menjadi ajang silaturahmi penting bagi jutaan kelaurga di Indonesia.
Di mudik lebaran 2017 ini, berbagai hal penting menjadi perhatian. Mengingat di mudik lebaran tahun lalu, tragedi akibat macet mudik terjadi di jalur mudik, terutama di area Brebes atau populer dengan Brexit, Brebes Exit di kawasan Pantura. Khusus pantura atau pantai utara Jawa, jalur mudik tahun ini semakin jauh. Mudik Pantura tidak lagi di area Brebes, tapi hingga Gringsing, jauh di Jawa Tengah. Kebanyakan jalur mudik ini telah memilki tol mudik. Jalan tol memang menjadi urat nadi utama mudik. Kemajuan jalur mudik Pantura ini patut diapresiasi, dan juga diwaspadai. Macet mudik dan ancaman keselamatan perlu menjadi perhatian pemudik. Mengingat, jalur mudik ini baru saja jadi, belum siap seratus persen. Dalam pantauan tim Go Mudik CNN Indonesia, banyak prasarana jalur mudik Pantura ini yang belum siap. Mengingat pentingnya jalur mudik Pantura, penting kiranya untuk CNN Indonesia terus menerus melakukan update dari jalur Pantura ini. Jangan sampai tragedi Brexit terjadi lagi di pantauan mudik 2017 ini.
Sedangkan di jalur mudik selatan, belum banyak perubahan yang terjadi dalam mudik 2017 ini. Jalur selatan masih baik dalam mencapai Nagrek dan kemudian Garut. CNN Indonesia tetap menyampaikan laporannya dari jalur mudik selatan ini. Semoga tidak terjadi macet mudik di tahun 2017 ini.
