VLOOOOOG - BLOGGERTREFF
Nach drei unbeschreiblich tollen Tagen, in denen wir ganz viel neue Menschen bzw. Blogger kennen lernen durften, sind wir mega happy zurück in Deutschland.
Vorerst möchten wir uns auch hier für Cinderella Gelinlik bedanken, denn nur durch euch war dies möglich.
In dieser kurzen Zeit haben wir versucht so viel wie möglich aufzunehmen, dies ist Teil 1 von 3 des Kusadasi Vlogs.

Kusadasi bedeutet wörtlich übersetzt “Vogelinsel” – und bezieht sich auf die kleine Insel “Güvercin Adasi” (Taubeninsel), die über einen Damm mit dem Festland verbunden ist. Allerdings hat der Namen auch noch weitere Bedeutung: in der üppigen Natur, die man rund um Kusadasi findet, leben zahlreiche seltene und außergewöhnliche Vögel, die als inoffizielle Maskottchen von Kusadasi gelten.
Die Stadt liegt in der Provinz Aydin in der Mitte des Golfes von Kuşadası. Die Nähe zu den bedeutenden antiken Stätten wie Ephesus, Milet und Didyma war ein wichtiger Grund für die touristische Entwicklung des Ortes. Daneben locken ein moderner Jachthafen und die quirlige Atmosphäre im Hafenstädtchen die Besucher an. Kreuzfahrtschiffe, die das östliche Mittelmeer befahren legen hier an. Während ihres Landgangs shoppen die Passagiere in den malerischen Gassen der Altstadt oder sie besuchen eine der bedeutenden Ausgrabungsstätten in der Nähe. Mit der Fähre kann man täglich auch die gegenüberliegende griechische Insel Samos erreichen.

Kuşadası (pronounced [ˈkuʃadasɯ]) is a resort town on Turkey's Aegean coast, and the center of the seaside district of the same name within Aydın Province. Kuşadası is 95 km (59 mi) south of İzmir, and 71 km (44 mi) from Aydın. The municipality's primary industry is tourism.
Geography
The city is situated along a gulf of the same name in the Aegean, with the island of Güvercin Ada connected to the mainland by a narrow passage on one end, and the mountain of Pilav Dağı behind.
It is located 95 km (59 mi) south of İzmir, the area's metropolitan center, and 71 km (44 mi) from the provincial seat of Aydın.
Demographics
Kuşadası has a residential population of 64,359, which can rise to over half a million in the summer as a result of the large resort filling with tourists. This also includes the hotel and bar staff, construction workers, and drivers who are required to work in/for the restaurants and other services accommodating these visitors. In addition to tourists from overseas, there is also a significant community of foreigners residing in the area.

One day in Kusadasi - Turkey 2014
Kusadasi bedeutet wörtlich übersetzt “Vogelinsel” – und bezieht sich auf die kleine Insel “Güvercin Adasi” (Taubeninsel), die über einen Damm mit dem Festland verbunden ist. Allerdings hat der Namen auch noch weitere Bedeutung: in der üppigen Natur, die man rund um Kusadasi findet, leben zahlreiche seltene und außergewöhnliche Vögel, die als inoffizielle Maskottchen von Kusadasi gelten. Die Stadt liegt in der Provinz Aydin in der Mitte des Golfes von Kuşadası. Die Nähe zu den bedeutenden antiken Stätten wie Ephesus, Milet und Didyma war ein wichtiger Grund für die touristische Entwicklung des Ortes. VLOOOOOG - BLOGGERTREFF
Nach drei unbeschreiblich tollen Tagen, in denen wir ganz viel neue Menschen bzw. Blogger kennen lernen durften, sind wir mega happy zurück in Deutschland.
Vorerst möchten wir uns auch hier für Cinderella Gelinlik bedanken, denn nur durch euch war dies möglich.
In dieser kurzen Zeit haben wir versucht so viel wie möglich aufzunehmen, dies ist Teil 1 von 3 des Kusadasi Vlogs.

Kusadasi bedeutet wörtlich übersetzt “Vogelinsel” – und bezieht sich auf die kleine Insel “Güvercin Adasi” (Taubeninsel), die über einen Damm mit dem Festland verbunden ist. Allerdings hat der Namen auch noch weitere Bedeutung: in der üppigen Natur, die man rund um Kusadasi findet, leben zahlreiche seltene und außergewöhnliche Vögel, die als inoffizielle Maskottchen von Kusadasi gelten.
Die Stadt liegt in der Provinz Aydin in der Mitte des Golfes von Kuşadası. Die Nähe zu den bedeutenden antiken Stätten wie Ephesus, Milet und Didyma war ein wichtiger Grund für die touristische Entwicklung des Ortes. Daneben locken ein moderner Jachthafen und die quirlige Atmosphäre im Hafenstädtchen die Besucher an. Kreuzfahrtschiffe, die das östliche Mittelmeer befahren legen hier an. Während ihres Landgangs shoppen die Passagiere in den malerischen Gassen der Altstadt oder sie besuchen eine der bedeutenden Ausgrabungsstätten in der Nähe. Mit der Fähre kann man täglich auch die gegenüberliegende griechische Insel Samos erreichen.

Kusadasi & Ephesus (a Very unOfficial Guide)
We visited Kusadasi and Ephesus, Turkey, while cruising on the Mariner of the Seas. It was absolutely amazing! While still not quite as impressive as Pompeii, (I can't imagine that anything is), visiting the ruins of Ephesus gives you a great insight into what life was like 2,000 years ago. Hamam Experience / Kusadasi Part 2
