Regarded by many as the most disgraceful act in boxing history. Boxer Antonio Margarito loaded his gloves with plaster in his 2008 clash against the 32-0 undefeated Miguel cotto. 3 years later Cotto had his chance to get revenge.

The Boxer is a breed of medium to large-sized, short-haired dogs developed in Germany. The Boxer is part of the Molosser dog group, developed in the late 19th century from the now extinct Bullenbeisser, a dog of Mastiff descent, and Bulldogs brought in from Great Britain.
Boxers stand 21 to 25 inches at the withers. They weigh between 60 to 70 pounds. And they live on average 10-12 years.
Boxers are friendly, lively companions that are popular as family dogs.[4] Their suspicion of strangers, alertness, agility, and strength make them formidable guard dogs. As puppies, Boxers demonstrate a fascinating combination of mood-mirroring expressions, energetic curiosity, flexible attention spans and charming characteristics. Boxers love kids and are great playmates for active older children. They can be too rambunctious for toddlers, however, and can accidentally knock them down in play.

UK directing duo marc & ish created this film with The Boxer Rebellion. They gave us the track and we took the idea of honesty from the lyrics and created a narrative that would be both completely surprising and utterly compelling. We wanted to make a something that was seriously playful and naughty, but also might be profound, raw and honest. Two "it" girls come home from a party and we compress 24 hours of a drunken roller-coaster of highs and lows, passion and heartache into 4 minutes. We wanted to explore a frenzied relationship, present the viewer with something that might be seen at first glance as controversial or sensational, but break through this.... breakthrough the fashionista styling, photo-shoot imagery, the beauty, the sexuality, the crazy night out... and try and find an intimate humanity that is shockingly real. Honest. Why two girls? Why not? Love is love.

Boxing
Boxing is a martial art and combat sport in which two people throw punches at each other, usually with gloved hands. Historically, the goals have been to weaken and knock down the opponent.
Amateur boxing is both an Olympic and Commonwealth sport and is a common fixture in most international games—it also has its own World Championships. Boxing is supervised by a referee over a series of one- to three-minute intervals called rounds. The result is decided when an opponent is deemed incapable to continue by a referee, is disqualified for breaking a rule, resigns by throwing in a towel, or is pronounced the winner or loser based on the judges' scorecards at the end of the contest. In the event that both fighters gain equal scores from the judges, the fight is considered a draw (professional boxing). In Olympic boxing, due to the fact that a winner must be declared, in the case of a draw - the judges use technical criteria to chose the most deserving winner of the bout.
While people have fought in hand-to-hand combat since before the dawn of history, the origin of boxing as an organized sport may be its acceptance by the ancient Greeks as an Olympic game in BC 688. Boxing evolved from 16th- and 18th-century prizefights, largely in Great Britain, to the forerunner of modern boxing in the mid-19th century, again initially in Great Britain and later in the United States.

A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. The Boxer
"The Boxer" is a song by the American music duo Simon & Garfunkel from their fifth studio album, Bridge over Troubled Water (1970). Produced by the duo themselves and Roy Halee, it was released as the lead single from the album on March 21, 1969. The song, written by Paul Simon, is a folk rock ballad that variously takes the form of a first-person lament as well as a third-person sketch of a boxer. Simon's lyrics are largely autobiographical and partially inspired by the Bible, and were written during a time when he felt he was being unfairly criticized. The song's lyrics discuss poverty and loneliness. It is particularly known for its plaintive refrain, in which the singer sings 'lie-la-lie', accompanied by a heavily reverbed drum.
"The Boxer" was the follow-up to one of the duo's most successful singles, "Mrs. Robinson". It peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. It performed well internationally, charting within the Top 10 in nine countries, peaking highest in the Netherlands, South Africa, and Sweden. Rolling Stone ranked the song #106 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Simon & Garfunkel was an American folk rock duo consisting of singer-songwriter Paul Simon and singer Art Garfunkel. They were one of the most popular recording artists of the 1960s and became counterculture icons of the decade's social revolution, alongside artists such as the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and Bob Dylan. Their biggest hits—including "The Sound of Silence" (1964/1965), "Mrs. Robinson" (1968), "Bridge over Troubled Water" (1969), and "The Boxer" (1969)—reached number one on singles charts worldwide. Their often rocky relationship led to artistic disagreements, which resulted in their breakup in 1970. Their final studio record, Bridge over Troubled Water, was their most successful, becoming one of the world's best-selling albums. Since their split in 1970 they have reunited several times, most famously in 1981 for the "The Concert in Central Park", which attracted more than 500,000 people, the seventh-largest concert attendance in history.

Regarded by many as the most disgraceful act in boxing history. Boxer Antonio Margarito loaded his gloves with plaster in his 2008 clash against the 32-0 undefeated Miguel cotto. 3 years later Cotto had his chance to get revenge. Huge apologies to anyone who saw this video when I first uploaded it (about 1 hour before this post). The 2nd half of the video went to a blank screen. Big mistake on my behalf, won't happen again

UK directing duo marc & ish created this film with The Boxer Rebellion. They gave us the track and we took the idea of honesty from the lyrics and created a narrative that would be both completely surprising and utterly compelling. We wanted to make a something that was seriously playful and naughty, but also might be profound, raw and honest. Two "it" girls come home from a party and we compress 24 hours of a drunken roller-coaster of highs and lows, passion and heartache into 4 minutes. We wanted to explore a frenzied relationship, present the viewer with something that might be seen at first glance as controversial or sensational, but break through this.... breakthrough the fashionista styling, photo-shoot imagery, the beauty, the sexuality, the crazy night out... and try and find an intimate humanity that is shockingly real. Honest. Why two girls? Why not? Love is love.

Her chosen method? To become a Muay Thai Kick Boxer.
Shot in and around K.O. Gym in Bethnal Green, East London, this film explores a hard working, dedicated and altogether unexpected Londoner and her personal challenge to compete in a home amateur fight representing K.O. Gym.
Dealing with vulnerability, normality, passion and desire, she experiences unique communities and incredibly trustworthy human relationships. She enters a world where ‘living for the moment’ can be more rewarding than planning for the next, and where the results of her hard work are instantly tangible.
London is growing in new and exciting ways all the time, but only if the people who make London are doing so too. This is Noe’s contribution.
