Movie Gallery

Movie Gallery, Inc. (former NASDAQ ticker symbol MOVI) was the second largest movie and game rental company in the United States and Canada, behind Blockbuster Video. The company rented and sold Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, VHS tapes, and video games. Founded in Dothan, Alabama, the company was headquartered in Dothan, and later in Wilsonville, Oregon.

On April 30, 2010, Movie Gallery announced it was closing and liquidating all of its stores per a filing of Chapter 7 bankruptcy. At its peak the firm had about 4,700 stores in North America, operating mainly under the Movie Gallery, Hollywood Video, and Game Crazy brands. The last of the company's stores were closed in August 2010.

In 2011, three Movie Gallery locations in northwest Arkansas reopened by an independent business owner who acquired the trademark rights in Arkansas. In 2013, an independent business man in Jackson, Mississippi acquired the trademark rights in Mississippi to Movie Gallery and Hollywood Video and announced intentions to reopen select previously profitable stores.

Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun is an Indian film actor who works in Telugu cinema. He has won three Filmfare Best Telugu Actor Awards for Parugu, Vedam and Race Gurram two Nandi Special Jury Awards for Arya and Parugu, and CineMAA Award for Best Actor Male for Gangotri And Race Gurram.

In 2015, Allu Arjun became the first Tollywood actor to have three consecutive ₹500+ Million share films with his films Race Gurram, S/O Satyamurthy and Rudhramadevi. Consequently, Forbes India placed Allu Arjun in the Top 50 of Forbes India 2015 Celeb 100 list.

Personal life

Allu Arjun was born to producer Allu Aravind and Nirmala. He is the paternal grandson of comedian Allu Rama Lingaiah..

On 6 March 2011, Arjun married Sneha Reddy in Hyderabad. He has a son born in 2014 .

Career

2001–2007

After playing child artist in Vijetha and as a dancer in Daddy, Arjun appeared in Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao's Gangotri. The movie completed 100 days in 102 centers. Arjun then appeared in Sukumar's comedy Arya.idlebrain.com stated "With his exceptionally great performance in Arya, hero Allu Arjun announces that he is here to stay and to leave a mark of his own."

Film

A film, also called a movie, motion picture or photoplay, is a series of still images which, when shown on a screen, creates the illusion of moving images due to the phi phenomenon. This optical illusion causes the audience to perceive continuous motion between separate objects viewed rapidly in succession. Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra (pronounced [prɪˈjaːŋkaː ˈtʃoːpɽaː]; born 18 July 1982) is an Indian film actress, singer, producer and philanthropist, and the winner of the Miss World pageant of 2000. Through her film career, she has become one of Bollywood's highest-paid actresses and one of the most popular and high-profile celebrities in India. Chopra has been cited by various media outlets as the world's sexiest Asian woman, as well as one of the most fashionable Indian celebrities. Amitoj Maan

Ammtoje (or Amitoj) Mann (Punjabi: ਅਮ੍ਮ੍ਤੋਜੇ "ਅਮਿਤੋਜ" ਮਾਨ) is a Punjabi actor, director, author, and screenwriter. He made two films: Kaafila based on the concept of illegal immigration and Hawayein, based on the aftermath of Indira Gandhi's assassination. Hawayein was well received, however Mann was less successful with Kaafila, which was banned in Pakistan due to the film's perceived anti-Pakistan material.

Filmography

Combining a literary and film background, his father, Babu Singh Mann is a poet and lyricist in Punjab, has also produced a number of Punjabi films and along with several other awards, he has also received five lifetime achievement awards. Amitoj worked with Nadira Babbar's theatre group "EKJUT" and gained experience doing a number of stage plays thus evolving into becoming an actor and honing his creative talents as a director and writer too.

In 1992, Dilip Kumar, signed Amitoj as the hero for his directorial debut film Kalinga opposite Meenakshi Seshadri. However, the film could not be released due to unforeseen circumstances. Amitoj turned his vision from enacting dreams to creating dreams for the silver screen.
