Joel McNeely
Joel McNeely (born March 28, 1959) is an American composer, arranger, musician, and songwriter. He is a composer of film and television music.
Biography
Joel McNeely was born in Madison, Wisconsin. Both of his parents were involved in music and theater, and as a child he played the piano, saxophone, bass, and flute. He attended the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, studied jazz at the University of Miami, and earned a master's degree as a composition major at the Eastman School of Music.
Lucasfilm chose McNeely to compose the soundtrack to the 1996 Star Wars novel Shadows of the Empire. This was an experimental project where he conveyed general moods and themes instead of writing music to flow for specific scenes.
He is also notable for conducting a series of re-recordings of Bernard Herrmann, Franz Waxman, John Barry and others' scores under the label of Varèse Sarabande, notably Vertigo, Psycho and Citizen Kane, and selected scores from the Twilight Zone television series, among others. He also composed the score for The Avengers and the theme and music for FOX's Dark Angel. Additionally, he scored the movies Terminal Velocity, Iron Will (which was used in the teaser trailers of Toy Story), Flipper, Gold Diggers, Samantha, Virus, and I Know Who Killed Me (2007). He also scored a multitude of Disney animated films (Mulan II, Peter Pan: Return to Neverland (2002), Tinker Bell and many others).

Shawn Hook
Shawn Hlookoff also known by his stage name Shawn Hook (born South Slocan, British Columbia, Canada) and originating from Nelson, British Columbia is a Canadian singer, songwriter and producer. Hook is signed to Kreative Soul Entertainment, Inc. under exclusive license to EMI Music Canada. He has a worldwide deal with Hollywood Records for releases outside of Canada.
Career
He studied piano through the royal conservatory from as early as age 4. In high school, he played piano and trombone in a jazz combo and jazz big band under the guidance of Rick Lingard. Shawn enrolled in a music composition course at Mt. Sentinel High School and started writing and recording his own music.
His first release using his real name Shawn Hlookoff was in 2004 after Colin Davison aka Jude Davison, his vocal teacher at Selkirk College Music School offered to produce it. He also gigged with the disco cover band Shag as a trombone player and back-up vocalist. Enrolling at The Art Institute in Vancouver, he studied audio engineering. He released a second independent 11-track album in 2006 titled Both Sides also credited as Shawn Hlookoff.

Plot
Eight people enter a reality TV show to win ₩1 billion (approximately US$1 million) if they survive 7 days in the Australian Outback. But they don't know the game is murderous trap by an insane TV director who wishes to avenge his wife's death.

A Million Ways
"A Million Ways" is a song by rock band OK Go from their album Oh No. It was the first song from the album to be released as a single and became the band's breakthrough song because the accompanying music video went viral on the Internet.
The B-side "This Will Be Our Year" is a cover version of the 1968 song by The Zombies from their album Odessey and Oracle and had been released on the 2004 compilation album Future Soundtrack for America. "The Lovecats", a cover of The Cure's hit single, had been released on the band's previous EP and was be released for a third time on the single for "Here It Goes Again". "Down for the Count" had not been released, but was released as a digital single on iTunes in 2007.
The song appeared as a playable track in the game Band Hero. The song also appeared in the 2007 film I Could Never Be Your Woman.

Arguably, Herrmann's finest film score was composed between 3 January and 19 February 1958. Soundtrack Suite from the classic 1958 Alfred Hitchcock film composed by Bernard Herrmann. There's a very good recording by Joel McNeely (relased by Varese Sarabande) but it does not include all music from the film, which prevented it for being definitive. For this suíte I used the James Conlon recording, which is the only complete version of the soundtrack available (it is the only to include the music for the "Hotel McKittrick" sequence and a good sounding version of "The Past and The Girl" [in the expanded original soundtrack released by Varese this track is damaged and it is not included in the McNeely recording], it also includes short tracks missing from other recordings such as the "window vertigo" and the "make up" scene. There's a very good recording by Joel McNeely (relased by Varese Sarabande) but it does not include all music from the film, which prevented it for being definitive.
For this suíte I used the James Conlon recording, which is the only complete version of the soundtrack available (it is the only to include the music for the "Hotel McKittrick" sequence and a good sounding version of "The Past and The Girl" [in the expanded original soundtrack released by Varese this track is damaged and it is not included in the McNeely recording], it also includes short tracks missing from other recordings such as the "window vertigo" and the "make up" scene.

2015. Disney Dreams! is a nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris. It was designed specially for the 20th anniversary of the park. Conceived by World of Color creator Steve Davison, the show features fireworks, water fountains, fire, music, lasers, lights, mist screens, pixel accurate projection mapping and other special effects.
The story of Dreams is based on numerous Disney classics such as Peter Pan, Disney Villains and Disney Princesses. Peter Pan's shadow escapes once again and ruins the magic of the star. The dripping magic sparkle shapes into Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast. Peter's shadow goes through a number of Disney classics.
Peter's shadow is captured by Captain Hook and threatened by other Disney Villains. Peter's shadow is then returned to Peter Pan and tries to defeat Captain Hook. Peter spots Tinker Bell and tells her to put the magic of the Second Star where it belongs.
At the end, Peter and Wendy fly off as Wendy says "On s'envole Peter! On s'envole (We fly away Peter! We fly away)" to the music of You Can Fly.
Joel McNeely composed the music for the show, which was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, a children's choir and an adult choir.

Mickey is poised to become the hero of a brand new story. Far from his recent roles of master of ceremonies, this new show will take him back to where Disney magic all began. He is embarking on a unique experience where magic fuels dreams. Mickey will learn valuable lessons from iconic Disney Magicians leading him to his dream of becoming a Magician. But these lessons are full of surprises because, although enthusiastic by nature, Mickey is terribly clumsy.
A new adventure for Mickey Mouse
Go back in time to Paris, at the turn of the 19th century and enter a great Magician’s atelier, where the assistant is no other than a certain Mickey Mouse! Night has fallen, Tinker Bell has spread a little stardust, and when he is given the task of cleaning up the atelier before sunrise, the young apprentice gets distracted! Nothing turns out as expected with Mickey finding himself accidentally transported to the most magical worlds of Disney films. He becomes the hero in this incredible show where illusion is key and the audience find themselves plunged into a world of magic and delight.
A magical story
To illustrate this return to where the magic all began, the creators of “Mickey and the Magician” draw inspiration from the great illusionist Georges Méliès and the famous magician Robert-Houdin. This is not a traditional magic show; the illusions will form the basis of this brand new story. Disneyland Paris has called on the acclaimed magician Paul Kieve to create these illusions, “It’s hard to think of the word ‘Disney’ without also thinking of the word ‘Magic’. I became fascinated with magic when I was 10 years old and was always inventing ideas in my head. One of the great things about working on ‘Mickey and the Magician’ is that I can bring some of these ideas into reality!” said Paul Kieve.
Stars from Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin and Frozen all lend a hand
Every object has a story and the Magician’s secret attic is cluttered with amazing artefacts, curious props, and mysterious objects: a hat, a candlestick, a zoetrope, a lamp and a crystal ball among other things. Distracted from his task, Mickey stirs the magic within each object. He then embarks upon an extraordinary journey strewn with breath-taking illusions magical moments, and crosses paths with iconic Disney magicians.
The Fairy Godmother from Cinderella unveils her famous spell, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo. Rafiki, the mandrill and great mystic from The Lion King will remind him of the meaning of “The Circle of Life”. The Genie from Aladdin performs an eccentric number for him to the tune of the famous song “Friend Like Me”. Lumière, the French candlestick from Beauty and the Beast has a surprise in store for him with his new enchanted version of “Be Our Guest”. Finally, Elsa from Frozen will show him how to “Let It Go”!
He will learn from each in turn as they share amazing magical moments with him, to help him discover the true meaning of the word “magic”.
The magic of the music
The unforgettable songs that helped to make each of these major films such a success have been specially re-orchestrated, with music recordings just coming to a close at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios. Joel McNeely, the composer of the music for the show, also created the music for Disneyland Paris’ nighttime spectacular Disney Dreams! The unforgettable songs will play a central role in this new must-see show, where Mickey and the Magician promises the audience great music featuring completely unexpected sounds.
For example, “Be Our Guest”, the star song from Beauty and the Beast, will feature the sounds of the circus; while “Friend like Me”, sung by the Genie from Aladdin, takes on a Broadway style integrating tricks and tap dancing. The show also features a brand new surprise song.
