Is there anything Kim Kardashian can do that won't attract attention – or critics?

The star shared a photo of 18-month-old son Saint all safely strapped into a luxurious-looking car recently, attracting the attention of concerned mums.

"He should really still be rear-facing," one woman commented on Facebook.

"He's very cute, but it would be safer for him to be back-facing in his seat," said another.

Kardashian and her family live in California, where the law states a child should be in a rear-facing seat under the age of 2, unless they weigh 40 or more pounds (about 18kg), or are more than 40 inches (about 101cm) tall.

In Kardashian's defence, here are things we don't know about Saint: his height, his weight, where he was when this photo was taken.

Australian laws state that babies must be in a rear-facing seat until they are six months old, and safety experts recommend staying rear-facing as long as the child fits comfortably in the seat.
