Well this is all a bit adorable! These Care Bear-themed baby shoes had us all swooning with delight and imagining squishy baby feet enveloped in their colourful goodness.

Care Bears is celebrating 35 years of caring in 2017, and to mark the occasion baby shoe brand Freshly Picked has created a range like no other.

While AUD$79 (plus shipping from the US) for baby shoes is a hefty proposition for many parents, we at least thought you'd want to see the visual delight of these tiny shoes. They're eye candy in the truest sense.

The Care Bears were originally created for a range of greeting cards. The designer who helped create Strawberry Shortcake - Muriel Fahrion - designed the first six bears. The concept was then expanded on by illustrator Elena Kucharik, in addition to a team of writers. 

The Care Bears were launched in 1982 and a tv series made from 1985 to 1988. Three films were also made and the bears relaunched several times in 1991, 2002, 2007 and 2011.

It's clear the Care Bears inspire kids, no matter their generation and the care bear message of love and acceptance resonates with all.
