A man from Perth's south has been charged with sexually assaulting two women on Barrow Island over several months last year.
Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said police will allege a 34-year-old man from Bertram sexually assaulted the two women, aged in their twenties and thirties, four times between March and August 2016.
Sex assault detectives arrested the man after an investigation and he has been charged with four counts of unlawful and indecent assault.
Barrow Island is inaccessible to the public except for fly-in, fly-out workers and is home to the Gorgon gas project.
He fronted Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday with his next court date set for September 21.
Police said inquiries were ongoing and anyone with information was urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
