As a candidate, Barack Obama promised to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which were started by his predecessor. But instead, Obama as commander-in-chief expanded the number of countries in which the U.S. has military involvement from four to seven.
While President Obama did reduce troops by 76 percent in Afghanistan and 97 percent in Iraq, he also sent 500 soldiers into Syria and is leaving office as the only president to serve two complete terms during wartime.
And even while soldiers were coming home, the brand of warfare was shifting, from boots on the ground to stealth machines in the sky. What sets the Obama war strategy apart is the sweeping and unilateral adoption of a shadowy fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles better known as drones.
When Obama accepted his Nobel Peace Prize in December 2009, 10 months into his first term, he’d already launched 47 recorded drone strikes in Pakistan, just one less than in George W. Bush’s entire eight years. Since 2008, American drone strikes have been blamed for thousands of civilian deaths on two continents, at no immediate human cost to the U.S.
Drones still account for only a tiny fraction of American military kills overall. But that number will likely grow, under presidents who are now empowered to wage covert wars at will, with little or no oversight.

A drone, by definition, is an “unmanned aircraft or ship that can navigate autonomously, without human control and can possibly be guided remotely.”
Simply put, the drone is the wave of the future.
You see all those cool camera angles you see in movies? Those awesome aerial shots that give you bird’s eye views of beautiful, lush landscapes of snowy mountains and other cool surroundings?
How did you think they achieved those shots? By strapping a cameraman to a hang glider and hoping for the best?
No, no, getting that Oscar nod for Best Cinematography is not worth that type of risk!
Traditionally, camera people would ride in helicopters and use cranes to get those types of shots… but in using those methods, there are boundaries involved.
With drones… the possibilities are nearly endless.

Top Five
Top Five is a 2014 American comedy film written and directed by Chris Rock. The film, which stars Rock, Rosario Dawson, and Gabrielle Union, was screened in the Special Presentations section of the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. The movie follows New York City comedian and film star Andre Allen (Rock), who has to confront his past and comedic career while doing an interview with journalist Chelsea Brown (Dawson). The film was released on December 12, 2014, by Paramount Pictures.
Plot
New York Times reporter Chelsea Brown is spending a day interviewing comedian and recovering alcoholic Andre Allen, star of the hit film franchise Hammy The Bear, about a cop in a bear suit. He is attempting a foray into serious films with Uprize, in which he portrays Haitian Revolution figure Dutty Boukman, and sensitive to criticism, particularly by Times critic James Nielson, whose previous reviews of Andre's work have been negative and insulting. As the interview begins in his limousine, Andre recalls his lowest point, when he was in Houston in 2003 and met Jazzy Dee, who supplied him with drugs, alcohol and women. Yet after Jazzy refused to pay the women, they contended they were raped, leading to Andre's arrest.

Dude Perfect
Dude Perfect is a sports entertainment group who got their start on YouTube. Most known for their trick shots, they are also involved in comedy with their "Stereotypes" series, in which they poke fun at common stereotypes, mostly in the sports world. The group consists of the twins Coby and Cory Cotton, Garrett Hilbert, Cody Jones, and Tyler Toney who are all former high school basketball players and college roommates at Texas A&M University.
The group commented that their shots typically relied more on American football skills than basketball.
History
The group was betting on sandwiches via basketball shots in their backyard, which were eventually recorded on camera, and a video of trick shots at Toney's ranch was eventually released on YouTube. Within a week, the video received 100,000 views. When asked about the name, Toney stated,
Afterwards, a trick shot video from the Christian summer camp Sky Ranch was released, which, as of June 2015, has over 13.9 million views. For every 100,000 views the video received, Dude Perfect pledged to sponsor a child from Compassion International. Afterwards, ESPN's E:60 contacted the group for a segment, and on the third floor of Texas A&M's Kyle Field, Toney converted a shot, which traveled 3.9 seconds, which was a world record at the time. The shot prompted television appearances on ESPN's First Take, Pardon the Interruption, Around the Horn and SportsNation. Eventually, Dude Perfect introduced the Panda mascot, who "developed a cult following at A&M basketball games" when taunting players of the opposing team.

Phantom (UAV)
Phantom is a series of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) developed by the Chinese company DJI. These non-military quadcopters or drones are intended for recreational and commercial aerial cinematography and photography. The body frames are made of composite materials. Propulsion is provided by four two-blade propellers driven by four electric engines mounted at the ends of the x-shaped body.

Phantom 1
The Phantom 1, originally known as Phantom, was released in January, 2013. It was commonly equipped with a GoPro camera for amateur film making or photography. It was first ready-to-fly drone that used GPS. Its battery life was less than 10 minutes.
Phantom 2
The Phantom 2 was released in December, 2013. Upgrades include auto-return, increased flight speed, increased flight time and controllable range, increased battery capacity, smartphones, tablets and even some smart glasses compatibility, WI-FI module and is available in different performances. Its configuration allows users to remotely tilt the camera and adjust its orientation on two axes for a better level shot.

As a candidate, Barack Obama promised to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which were started by his predecessor. But instead, Obama as commander-in-chief expanded the number of countries in which the U.S. has military involvement from four to seven.
While President Obama did reduce troops by 76 percent in Afghanistan and 97 percent in Iraq, he also sent 500 soldiers into Syria and is leaving office as the only president to serve two complete terms during wartime.
And even while soldiers were coming home, the brand of warfare was shifting, from boots on the ground to stealth machines in the sky. What sets the Obama war strategy apart is the sweeping and unilateral adoption of a shadowy fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles better known as drones.
When Obama accepted his Nobel Peace Prize in December 2009, 10 months into his first term, he’d already launched 47 recorded drone strikes in Pakistan, just one less than in George W. Bush’s entire eight years. Since 2008, American drone strikes have been blamed for thousands of civilian deaths on two continents, at no immediate human cost to the U.S.
Drones still account for only a tiny fraction of American military kills overall. But that number will likely grow, under presidents who are now empowered to wage covert wars at will, with little or no oversight.

Simply put, the drone is the wave of the future.
