Central European may mean:
Central European culture is a part of both Western and more specifically European culture typical to geographical, cultural and political region of Central Europe.
Central European culture may refer to:
Central Europe lies between Eastern and Western Europe.
The concept of Central Europe is based on a common historical, social and cultural identity.
Central Europe is going through a phase of "strategic awakening", with initiatives like the CEI, Centrope or V4. While the region's economy shows high disparities with regard to income, all Central European countries are listed by the Human Development Index as very highly developed.
Elements of unity for Western and Central Europe were Roman Catholicism and Latin. Eastern Europe, which remained Eastern Orthodox Christian, was the area of Byzantine cultural influence; after the schism (1054), it developed cultural unity and resistance to the Western world (Catholic and Protestant) within the framework of Slavonic language and the Cyrillic alphabet.

Central is an adjective usually referring to being in the center of some place or (mathematical) object.
Central may also refer to:
A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. Films may be of recent date and, depending upon the festival's focus, can include international and domestic releases. Some festivals focus on a specific film-maker or genre (e.g., film noir) or subject matter (e.g., horror film festivals). A number of film festivals specialise in short films of a defined maximum length. Film festivals are typically annual events. Some film historians do not consider Film Festivals as official releases of film, like Jerry Beck. The best known film festivals are the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival, the latter being the largest film festival worldwide, based on attendance. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest major festival. The Melbourne International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world. A 2013 study found 3,000 active films festivals worldwide—active defined as having held an event in the previous 24 months.
The Czech Republic (i/ˈtʃɛk rᵻˈpʌblɪk/ CHEK-rə-PUB-lik;Czech: Česká republika [ˈt͡ʃɛskaː ˈrɛpuˌblɪka]) is a landlocked country in Central Europe bordered by Germany to the west, Austria to the south, Slovakia to the southeast and Poland to the northeast. The capital and largest city, Prague, has over 1.2 million residents. The Czech Republic includes the historical territories of Bohemia,Moravia, and Czech Silesia.
The Czech state was formed in the late 9th century as the Duchy of Bohemia under the Great Moravian Empire. After the fall of the Empire in 907, the centre of power transferred from Moravia to Bohemia under the Přemyslids. In 1004, the duchy was formally recognized as part of the Holy Roman Empire, becoming the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1212, and reaching its greatest territorial extent in the 14th century. The King of Bohemia ruled not only Bohemia itself, but also other lands, which together formed the so-called Crown of Bohemia, and he had a vote in the election of the Holy Roman Emperor. In the Hussite wars of the 15th century driven by the Bohemian Reformation, the kingdom faced economic embargoes and defeated five crusades proclaimed by the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church and organized mainly by the emperor and princes of the Holy Roman Empire.

Tribute to the Visegrad Four countries: Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Often in the West we hear of "Europeans values", "Western values". Those values that are touted as "European" and "Western" by Leftist are anything but. The value of self-hate is a value of the far-left imposed on Europe over the last half-century. Those aren't our real European values nor representative of our ancient cultures. It is manipulation and deceit to say they are.

Central European University held a press conference with President and Rector Michael Ignatieff, Pro-Rector for Hungarian Affairs Zsolt Enyedi, and Pro-Rector for Social Sciences and Humanities Eva Fodor in response to proposed amendments to Hungary’s higher education law. CEU opposes these amendments, which would make it impossible for the University to continue its operations as an institution of higher education in Budapest. CEU is a graduate institution of academic excellence that has offered U.S. and Hungarian-accredited degrees in Budapest for 25 years. On their flight from North and Central Europe to Africa migrating birds mainly take three routes: the Western route via Gibraltar is certainly the best known. This is the route taken by most birds flying from breeding grounds in Great Britain, many from mud flats of the Dutch and German Wattenmeer and also from Scandinavia. The Eastern route leads across Eastern Europe (the Baltic, Belorussia, the Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria) into Turkey, over the Bosphorus and on over the Middle East to reach Africa. The third route is often forgotten. It is known as the Central European migration route or the Adriatic Flyway. This route runs parallel to the Eastern route in Siberia and Northern Europe but later bears westward from Poland and Hungary over the Balkans and on over the Adriatic Sea, Southern I...
All Time-lapse sequences were taken by the astronauts onboard the International Space Station (ISS) (Thanks guys for making this available to the public for use!) All footage has been color graded, denoised, deflickered, slowed down and stabilized by myself. Clips were then complied and converted to 1080 HD at 24 frames/sec. Some interesting tidbits about the ISS. It orbits the planet about once every 90 mins and is about 350 Km/217 miles. The yellow/greenish line that you see over the earth is Airglow. Hope you all enjoy it and thanks for watching! P.S. It would be a dream to actually be up there in the ISS. Every summer the last weekend all kayakers and other water sportsmen go to Lipno Čerťáky to enjoy a 6km class IV river, that only has enough water when the dam opens. We love to enjoy the river same as the very wide ww community that barely meets in any other place or event. Truly the whole Central Europe goes here to share the joy of paddling.

Hello again, today we would like to present a Wildpics moment with the European Hare ‘’Lepus europaeus’’ found throughout Europe, Central Asia, and even introduced into Australia, North and South America, this adaptable hare has, with the help of man, colonized many areas of the world. Unlike there rabbit cousins, hares are born fully furred eyes open and ready to go. Even though they still need milk from their mothers these young hares have a huge advantage being born fully developed. Mainly nocturnal, we were happy to get the chance to watch this one forage in a recently cut wheat field. We hope you enjoy a moment with the European hare as much as we did. Have a great day from Wildpics.
