A recall has been issued for the Love Your Cub Silicone Teether with Bonus Chain after the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) found it poses a choking hazard.

There are four variations on the design, which were sold nationally at a range of online and instore outlets - mint peace sign, blue peace sign, rainbow, and ship's wheel

The problem

The product does not comply with the requirements of the ban on baby dummy chains with unsafe decorations. The product exceeds the required length, and small parts are able to be detached.

If small parts detach during use, this poses a potential choking hazard.

What you need to do

If you have this product at home, the ACCC has stated that, 'Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the item and return item to place of purchase for full refund.'
