Plot

Avinash is an action thriller, featuring Mithun Chakraborty, Parveen Babi, Poonam Dhillon, Prem Chopra, Kalpana Iyer, Tom Alter, Anil Dhawan, Avtar Gill and Sujit Kumar.

Summary

A Video film accidentally reaches Avinash and the goons wants it back, as it contains confidential informations. They break into his house and assault his fiancee, Dr. Sapna, and his brother, Sumit. They also kills Avinash's mother and abducts and torture him to get the details of the missing video film. Goons shots him, but he survives, only to lose his memory. Now Avinash is chased by goons, a woman, Nisha and another woman, Alka. Pratap, the terrorist and his goons are determined to get back the video casseette at any cost. Will Avinash alone can make a fight back?

Things do not go quite as planned, as only Digamber and Avinash are available to carry out the abduction. To make matters worse, they find out that the wrong boy (Daddu) has been abducted, who happens to be the illegitimate son of Assistant Commissioner of Police, S.P. Rao. So the heat is now on the Digamber and Avinash, who must somehow find a way to get out of this mess - alive and in one piece.

Plot: Indu lives a middle-class lifestyle along with her widower dad. She attends college, meets with Raj, and both fall in love with each other. He does succeed in killing Raj, but before he could kill Indu, he is arrested and institutionalized in the very same hospital where he works. One day he breaks out to finish his one and only mission - kill Indu at any and all costs.

Plot: Laxmi lives with her widowed dad, Pandit Deodhar Sharma, who is a much respected Advocate, and a brother, Subhash. Deodhar is very disappointed with Subhash as he not only neglects to attend college regularly, but has fallen into bad company, gambles, visits a Courtesan by the name of Kaminibai, and of late has also taken to alcohol. Deodhar would like Subhash to give up the bad company, especially that of Ranga Tripathi, but Subhash continues on with his lifestyle and eventually his father refuses to speak with him. Then when Deodhar is unable to get a not guilty verdict for one of his clients, he quits his practice. When Laxmi gets married to Avinash, Deodhar gives her a Mohanmala, an expensive diamond necklace, which Subhash pawns it with a money-lender and promises to return it soon. Even when Laxmi gives him money, Subhash does not return the money, resulting in Avinash asking his wife to find the necklace and then return to his home. When he learns of his sister's predicament, Subhash asks Ranga for help and the response that he gets from Ranga will change his life forever.
