Season One may refer to:
In computing and systems design a loosely coupled system is one in which each of its components has, or makes use of, little or no knowledge of the definitions of other separate components. Sub-areas include the coupling of classes, interfaces, data, and services.
Coupling refers to the degree of direct knowledge that one component has of another. Loose coupling in computing is interpreted as encapsulation vs. non-encapsulation.
An example of tight coupling occurs when a dependent class contains a pointer directly to a concrete class which provides the required behavior. The dependency cannot be substituted, or its "signature" changed, without requiring a change to the dependent class. Loose coupling occurs when the dependent class contains a pointer only to an interface, which can then be implemented by one or many concrete classes. The dependent class's dependency is to a "contract" specified by the interface; a defined list of methods and/or properties that implementing classes must provide. Any class that implements the interface can thus satisfy the dependency of a dependent class without having to change the class. This allows for extensibility in software design; a new class implementing an interface can be written to replace a current dependency in some or all situations, without requiring a change to the dependent class; the new and old classes can be interchanged freely. Strong coupling does not allow this.
Thank you so much for following along on my journey to find love on Mark Burnett's hit show COUPLED on FOX! I hope you have enjoyed the ride from day one in Anguilla, Alex and I becoming a coupled, our amazing journey together and now the season finale. On the finale the BIG question was asked "do we want to stay coupled back home?" As you know by watching the finale we both decided to remain a couple and continue dating back in California. Please check out my refill #10 to find out if we are still a couple or not? Beware there may be some tears........ xoxo, Lindsey To follow along on my life adventures post coupled follow me on Instagram & Twitter at @lindsey_tuer, Snapchat at Lee_Lee5678 and on my BLOG website www.lindseytuer.com
This lecture introduces the student to coupled-mode theory and its various forms. It is not intended to be a rigorous treatment of the math. Instead, it is intended to give the student a picture of coupled-mode theory and to identify the various forms the coupled-mode theory appears. Prerequisite Topics: Electromagnetics and Differential Equations
Paul Andersen explains the importance role of coupled reactions in biology. He starts by explaining how the power of a river can be harnessed by a water mill to grind grains. He describes the importance of ATP and how it is used within living organisms. He highlights many of the coupled reactions between the Sun and your thumb. He finishes the podcast by talking about REDOX reactions where oxidation is the losing of electrons and reduction is the gaining of these same electrons. Example of Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors in the context of coupled oscillators (masses connected by springs). Pre class slides by Steve Spicklemire
HIP file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-JO8UktREYfbjNXV1M0VUtSOVU/view The scene file shows how you can use POP streams to create organic trails which move independently from the 'leader' particles which create them (in a single POP Network). It also includes a SOP Solver trick for smoothing the trails as they expand.
Coupled - Directed by - Jamie Sims - www.listenersproject.com A couple spend a lazy afternoon in bed. He just wants to hang out but she has other plans. Made as part of four short films produced by the Listeners Project at the Farmiloe Building. Four Days, Four Rooms, Four Directors. Walls tell stories and we listen. By creating a series of short films we acknowledge the history of the space and tell stories that keep it forever. Each director picks a room at random. Their crew must create a story within that space (and only that space) within a specified time limit. Crews are given a unifying theme but each film has its own unique story. All films are screened together in the space on a given date as a celebration of the creative project and the space itself. Sarah - Elizabeth Croft...
a simplistic approach to simulating large areas filled with water in 2d, coupled with a multiphyscis solver for splashes and stuff... this was developed at UFSC to contribute to a student short that had some simple character/water interactions. it is called migué flow internaly, due to its hacky nature. (http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migu%C3%A9) although simple it supports some nice stuff like volume preservation and 2-way coupling (splashes generate ripples, that generates slashes, that generate ripples, that...) available at si-communities resource dump: http://www.si-community.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=39403#p39403
Two swings are attached to each other below their fulcrums via a steel tube. One of the more interesting results of this coupling is shown here where just one of the two swingers pump, while the other swinger sits still. At first, only the pumper moves, but gradually, the non-pumper starts to move as well. The non-pumper continues to swing ever higher, eventually “stealing” all the kinetic energy from the pumper, thus leaving the pumper at a stand-still—but only momentarily. After a few moments, the energy begins to return to the pumper, eventually leaving the non-pumper at rest. And so it continues, with the energy moving back and forth between the two.
Two different implementations of analog oscillators that synchronize when they are mutually coupled. I consider these as examples for machine – machine communication without hierarchies and protocols. Synchronization is the most fundamental indicator for the exchange of information. In these analog oscillators this exchange is realized through a direct coupling, no encoding and no decoding has to be effectuated. Not one oscillator is dominating the communication, they mutually negotiate their timing. This capacity for non-hierarchical communication is a signature of analog systems. They allow for information exchange without having tu recur to symbols or to detect the presence of a signal, already the softest input may modify and modulate the behaviour of an analog system
This presentation will take an ecological approach to understanding how people interact formally and informally within a modern organisation. It will look at how the boundaries of the organisation are blurring and the consequences for organisational design. Linked to those new forms are novel approaches to both discovering and resolving intractable or wicked problems. New approaches to understanding purpose and giving direction under conditions of uncertainty will be outlined. These include the use of heuristics (or rules of thumb) and the use of safe-to-fail portfolios of early stage interventions designed to resolve strategic conflict and provide early wins.
MassTransit is a distributed application framework and Servicebus for .Net. RabbitMq is the underlying middleware that handles low level messages initiated by MassTransit.Examples of problems MassTransit can solve are sending a message to one application to a completely separated other application. MassTransit makes it possible to subscribe to an incoming message just like you would with an event. The support for sagas is another very powerful feature of MassTransit. Sagas are mostly used for persistant workflows. The saga can sent out messages if the status of the workflow changes and multiple systems can react to that change. In this session I'll show the architecture behind messaging, how you can easily implement it using MassTransit and some advanced features like sagas.
Cry at my feet; The god made of Man,
Drinking your face with my hands,
You were the one clinging to me,
There's nothing but the sex you gave us both,
I was always stronger than you,
I'm burying your soul with my boots,
Walking away, fucking and drunk.
Remember ten minutes of your worst time for me.
The ocean was trying to swallow the land,
I don't remember, the words never leave.
Those moments won't... Fuck I forgot.
Lets burn down together.
Lets burn down our houses together.
Lets burn down forever.
Lets burn down our children together.
I'll spit on you again but I don't know when,
I'll wait to see you outside the gates of heaven,
Now I could explain what I couldn't back then,
The devil walk me away with a sympathetic grin.
Lets burn down together.
Lets burn down our houses together.
Lets burn down forever.
Lets burn down our children together.
Burn me down, shoot me in the chest,
Burn me down, shoot me in the chest,
Burn me down, shoot me in the chest,
Burn me down, shoot me in the chest,
Lets fuck one last time, In a burning bed.
Lets fuck one last time, In a burning bed.
Lets fuck one last time, In a burning bed.
