A 130-tonne mobile crane has collapsed at a Perth building site on Monday morning.

The incident occurred on the corner of Ruislip and Pangbourne streets in Wembley around 8.25am.

A mobile crane collapsed in Wembley on Monday morning

Luckily no one was hurt when the 130-tonne crane collapsed on the corner of Ruislip Street and Pangborrne Street.

The crane was being used at a Pindan-run construction site for an aged-care facility.

A Worksafe spokeswoman confirmed no one had been injured in the collapse and that the incident would be investigated. 

Pindan Constructions director Mark Thompson said the incident had caused minimal damage to the work site. 

"Pindan confirms that a mobile crane being used at a site on the corner of Pangbourne Street and Ruislip St in Wembley toppled over during construction work this morning," he said.

"There were no injuries as a result of the incident and damage to the site and the crane has been minimal.

"The first steps were to secure and stabilise the crane.

"The crane will be removed from site today.

"As is the case with any incidents, Pindan has commenced an investigation into the cause. Pindan is also working with Worksafe on their investigation of the incident."
