The funeral service for Dalzinia Kioniau held at Holy Cross Cathedral in Honiara, Solomon Islands. Dalzinia, along with 17 others, including 13 children from a village church group in the Solomon Islands, drowned after a rescue mission was reportedly delayed for lack of funds when their boat sank between islands. One surviving woman, Stivesen Osiabu, swam for hours with a small group including her daughter, Dalzinia, after tearing up the boat's single life jacket to share it among three girls.
