This is an updated version of the 'My Life' video and it includes additional new photographs of Grace Griffith's amazing life. Grace sings her poignant and emotional version of 'My Life' from her CD of the same name. When Eva Cassidy was dying from melanoma cancer, Grace selflessly asked her own record company to sign Eva to a recording contract. Thus she was directly responsible for the world coming to know Eva's music. Grace is battling Parkinsons Disease but continues to perform and make beautiful music. A beautiful version of this traditional Celtic carol by Grace Griffith who has the most crystal-clear voice. It's on the Snow Angels: A Hear Music Holiday Collection from 1996. I think it is available at itunes. If not, try ebay, where it is currently available.
In this carol, we hear the Christmas Story from the perspective of Mary, as she reflects at the wonder of it all. "Who am I to bear you here." It is the perfect song for an acapella rendition, and I Iove Grace's version as much as I do Judy Collins' one, recorded in the early 1960s.
Grace is based in Washington DC. She started her career with Connemara, a trio including fiddler Cathy Palmer and Celtic harpist Tracie Brown. The group released two excellent albums, Beyond the Horizon in 1993 and Siren Song in 1995. Grace's debut album, Every Hue and Shade, was released on her own label in 1993. This was
re-packaged in 1996 as "Grace". Other albums were: 2000: Minstrel Song, 2003: Sands of Time, 2006: My Life, 2010:Sailing.

Celebrating the romance of lovers separated by the sea, "My Grief on the Sea" music video features vocals by celtic singer Grace Griffith and images from the motion picture ITHACA, directed by Michael Van Devere. Fabular Films 2007.
ITHACA was filmed at the Longfellow National Historic Site in Cambridge, MA, and was inspired by Homer's The Odyssey and Longfellow's sea poetry. Brooke Griffith grew up singing in church since the age of 3. She has since matured into one of her church’s worship leaders (Harvest Bible Chapel Granger), and after joining the Tommee Profitt Band in 2014, has also toured parts of the country performing concerts and leading worship. She recorded her debut solo EP in 2014, featuring original worship songs, and is currently pursuing a worship degree from Cedarville University in Ohio, where she leads worship in chapel, and is involved in 3 separate worship bands on campus. Brooke’s heart for worship is very evident not just on stage, but in the way she lives her life; she wants Jesus to be the center of everything she does. When you mix her heart and leadership with her incredible voice, you can’t help but feel the presence of God in a way that points the focus back to Him.
Tommee Profitt began producing his own music in his parent’s basement when he was 8 years old, and is now a Dove Award Nominated Producer/Songwriter/Composer with Capitol CMG and produces full-time in his studio, working with clients of all genres. Since 2003, Tommee has recorded 6 full-length albums of original worship music, and has traveled with his band performing concerts and leading worship in and out of the country. He also composes and scores for a variety of entertainment outlets, and has had his productions placed in movie trailers, video games, ABC, NBC, FOX, ESPN, MTV, VH1, EA Sports, Showtime, Monday Night Football, and more. He has a love for video editing and regularly produces videos for YouTube, including covers, original music, and funny songs. His ultimate mission is to reach as many people as possible with a simple five word message: "Nothing Else Matters But God". The purpose behind all of his music is to encourage people to live their lives for God and grow closer to Him. He lives in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife, Angela, and 2 kids, McKenlee and Colton.

I cannot imagine life without Andy, but I take comfort and strength in God's Grace and in the knowledge that Andy is at peace and with God."
In an interview in Guidepost... Andy talked of his painful battle with Guillain-Barr syndrome... "I firmly believe that in every situation, not matter how difficult, God extends grace greater than the hardship and strength and peace of mind that can lead us to a place higher than where we were before". He lived his life as a testimony to that. Growing up in Sunday School Andy said he "would sing 'Jesus Loves Me' so loud that everybody would notice". Later in Life Andy, recorded a Gospel album of hyms. The album was titled "I Love to Tell the Story"

Grace Griffith is a folk and celtic singer based in Washington, DC. She has been honored with multiple Wammie awards by the Washington Area Music Association. In 1998, she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
Biography
Grace Griffith was raised in a family of ten children on a small farm in Southern Maryland. At a young age she began singing and accompanying herself on guitar playing in small coffeehouse stages, mentored by her sister Maura. Grace’s parents encouraged her to follow a practical career. Putting her musical hobby to one side she graduated from the University of Maryland in 1978 with a degree in physical therapy and embarked on a career as a physical therapist. Several years after her college studies she was invited to sing for a local Irish band in Washington DC called “The Hags” and toured the college circuit for two years. Her successor in that band was to become the famed singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter. In 1987 Griffith formed a duo called “Hazlewood” with songwriter Susan Graham White. They produced some independent releases and ultimately appeared at the 1991 Philadelphia Folk Festival.

Lamb of God
Lamb of God (Greek: ἀμνὸς τοῦ θεοῦ, amnos tou theou; Latin: Agnus Dei) is a title for Jesus that appears in the Gospel of John. It appears at John 1:29, where John the Baptist sees Jesus and exclaims, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."
Although "Lamb of God" refers in Christian teachings to Jesus Christ in his role of the perfect sacrificial offering, Christological arguments dissociate the term from the Old Testament concept of a "scapegoat", which is a person or animal subject to punishment for the sins of others without knowing it or willing it. Christian doctrine holds that Jesus chose to suffer at Calvary as a sign of his full obedience to the will of his Father, as an "agent and servant of God". The Lamb of God is thus related to the Paschal Lamb of Passover, which is viewed as foundational and integral to the message of Christianity.
A lion-like lamb that rises to deliver victory after being slain appears several times in the Book of Revelation. It is also referred to in Pauline writings, 1 Corinthians 5:7 suggests that Saint Paul intends to refer to the death of Jesus, who is the Paschal Lamb, using the theme found in Johannine writings.

"My All" is a song by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey from her sixth studio album, Butterfly (1997). It was released as the album's fifth and second commercial single on April 21, 1998 by Columbia Records. The song was written and produced by Carey and Walter Afanasieff. "My All" is built around Latin guitar chord melodies, and makes subtle use of Latin percussion throughout the first chorus, before taking on a more conventional contemporary R&B-style beat. Carey was inspired to write the song and use Latin inspired melodies after her trip to Puerto Rico, where she was influenced by the culture. The song's lyrics tell of a lonely woman declaring she would give "her all" to have just one more night with her estranged lover.
The music video for the song was released in March 1998. It shows many scenes of Carey laying on a submerged vessel in a large body of water, while lamenting her lost lover. Towards the video's climax, Carey and her love interest climb atop a lighthouse and caress each other under the night's sky. "My All" was performed live on various occasions, including the 1998 World Music Awards and Blockbuster Entertainment Awards, Saturday Night Live, The Rosie O'Donnell Show and various European television and music chart programs. The song was also part of Carey's 1998 Butterfly World Tour, and was performed during many future tours and concerts. House music producer David Morales remixed the song, which was sung in live medley's with the original.

- BIO -
Brooke Griffith grew up singing in church since the age of 3. She has since matured into one of her church’s worship leaders (Harvest Bible Chapel Granger), and after joining the Tommee Profitt Band in 2014, has also toured parts of the country performing concerts and leading worship. She recorded her debut solo EP in 2014, featuring original worship songs, and is currently pursuing a worship degree from Cedarville University in Ohio, where she leads worship in chapel, and is involved in 3 separate worship bands on campus. Brooke’s heart for worship is very evident not just on stage, but in the way she lives her life; she wants Jesus to be the center of everything she does. When you mix her heart and leadership with her incredible voice, you can’t help but feel the presence of God in a way that points the focus back to Him.
Tommee Profitt began producing his own music in his parent’s basement when he was 8 years old, and is now a Dove Award Nominated Producer/Songwriter/Composer with Capitol CMG and produces full-time in his studio, working with clients of all genres. Since 2003, Tommee has recorded 6 full-length albums of original worship music, and has traveled with his band performing concerts and leading worship in and out of the country. He also composes and scores for a variety of entertainment outlets, and has had his productions placed in movie trailers, video games, ABC, NBC, FOX, ESPN, MTV, VH1, EA Sports, Showtime, Monday Night Football, and more. He has a love for video editing and regularly produces videos for YouTube, including covers, original music, and funny songs. His ultimate mission is to reach as many people as possible with a simple five word message: "Nothing Else Matters But God". The purpose behind all of his music is to encourage people to live their lives for God and grow closer to Him. He lives in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife, Angela, and 2 kids, McKenlee and Colton.

- BIO -
Brooke Griffith grew up singing in church since the age of 3. She has since matured into one of her church’s worship leaders (Harvest Bible Chapel Granger), and after joining the Tommee Profitt Band in 2014, has also toured parts of the country performing concerts and leading worship. She recorded her debut solo EP in 2014, featuring original worship songs, and is currently pursuing a worship degree from Cedarville University in Ohio, where she leads worship in chapel, and is involved in 3 separate worship bands on campus. Brooke’s heart for worship is very evident not just on stage, but in the way she lives her life; she wants Jesus to be the center of everything she does. When you mix her heart and leadership with her incredible voice, you can’t help but feel the presence of God in a way that points the focus back to Him.
Tommee Profitt began producing his own music in his parent’s basement when he was 8 years old, and is now a Dove Award Nominated Producer/Songwriter/Composer with Capitol CMG and produces full-time in his studio, working with clients of all genres. Since 2003, Tommee has recorded 6 full-length albums of original worship music, and has traveled with his band performing concerts and leading worship in and out of the country. He also composes and scores for a variety of entertainment outlets, and has had his productions placed in movie trailers, video games, ABC, NBC, FOX, ESPN, MTV, VH1, EA Sports, Showtime, Monday Night Football, and more. He has a love for video editing and regularly produces videos for YouTube, including covers, original music, and funny songs. His ultimate mission is to reach as many people as possible with a simple five word message: "Nothing Else Matters But God". The purpose behind all of his music is to encourage people to live their lives for God and grow closer to Him. He lives in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife, Angela, and 2 kids, McKenlee and Colton.

THE FATAL WEAKNESS, George Kelly's 1946 play, tells the story of Ollie Espenshade—an incurable romantic who discovers, after 28 years of marriage, that her husband is a lying cheat. In Act Two, Scene Two of the play, Ollie Espenshade (Kristin Griffith) reports to her daughter Penny (Victoria Mack) that she knows her husband Paul (Cliff Bemis) is having an affair. Ollie has been told by a female detective that her husband has sprained his ankle when "leaping" out of the car to pick up his mistress for a date. In the following scene, filmed live at Mint Theater on October 3, 2014, Paul returns home to his wife and daughter and is forced to explain his injury - to surprising results.

On Friday, Jan. 9, head to St. John’s Episcopal Church in West Hartford for a screening of
Steamboat Bill, Jr., presented with live, improvised piano accompaniment by pianist Patrick
Miller.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. and admission is free, but there is a suggested donation of $20. A
steamboat round dinner will precede the event at 6 p.m. Please call the church at 860-523-5201
for reservations.
Steamboat Bill, Jr. (1928) is the last of physical comedian Buster Keaton’s (the Great Stone
Face) nine independent feature films and one of the last silent comedies. The film – actually co-
written, co-produced, and co-directed by Keaton (with director Chas. F. Reisner) – was derived
from a story by Carl Harbaugh.
In the film, there are two very amazing sequences. The first is Keaton’s dare-devil, death-defying
stunt (Keaten performed his own) when a three-story building facade crashes down on top of
him, saving him because the third floor window opening clears his head. In the second, there is a
destructive cyclone sequence.
Pianist Miller is Associate Professor of Music Theory at The Hartt School, University of
Hartford where he is co-director of the Academic and Contemporary Studies Division and chair
of the Music Theory Program.
He received his Bachelor of Music (piano, music theory) and Master of Music (music theory)
from the University of Kansas where he studied piano with Angelica Morales von Sauer. He
received his Ph.D. (music theory) from The University of Michigan where he studied music
theory with Wallace Berry.
Miller has taught at The University of Michigan, University of North Texas, and Wesleyan
University.
Since 1982, Patrick Miller has performed his piano accompaniments for silent film screenings
throughout New England – with performances at the Wadsworth Atheneum, University of
Hartford, University of Connecticut Storrs, Connecticut College, Mount Holyoke College,
Trinity College, Wesleyan University, and Yale University.
He has studied silent film music at the George Eastman House, the Museum of Modern Art, and
the Library of Congress. Miller has accompanied the masterworks of American and international
silent cinema from The Birth of a Nation (D. W. Griffith, 1915 USA) to The Passion of Joan of

Jennifer Cutting's Ocean Orchestra creates a lush and ethereal soundscape in "My Grief on the Sea," from the album OCEAN: Songs for the Night Sea Journey (SunSign Records, 2004).
Celebrating the romance of lovers separated by the sea, "My Grief on the Sea" music video features vocals by celtic singer Grace Griffith and images from the motion picture ITHACA, directed by Michael Van Devere. Fabular Films 2007.
ITHACA was filmed at the Longfellow National Historic Site in Cambridge, MA, and was inspired by Homer's The Odyssey and Longfellow's sea poetry. The video represents a unique collaboration between the Washington, DC based songwriter Jennifer Cutting and the Harvard filmmaker Michael Van Devere. Starring Elina Kanellopoulou and Evan D. Siegel.

Jennifer Cutting's Ocean Orchestra creates a lush and ethereal soundscape in "My Grief on the Sea," from the album OCEAN: Songs for the Night Sea Journey (SunSign Records, 2004).
Celebrating the romance of lovers separated by the sea, "My Grief on the Sea" music video features vocals by celtic singer Grace Griffith and images from the motion picture ITHACA, directed by Michael Van Devere. Fabular Films 2007.
ITHACA was filmed at the Longfellow National Historic Site in Cambridge, MA, and was inspired by Homer's The Odyssey and Longfellow's sea poetry. The video represents a unique collaboration between the Washington, DC based songwriter Jennifer Cutting and the Harvard filmmaker Michael Van Devere. Starring Elina Kanellopoulou and Evan D. Siegel.

- BIO -
Brooke Griffith grew up singing in church since the age of 3. She has since matured into one of her church’s worship leaders (Harvest Bible Chapel Granger), and after joining the Tommee Profitt Band in 2014, has also toured parts of the country performing concerts and leading worship. She recorded her debut solo EP in 2014, featuring original worship songs, and is currently pursuing a worship degree from Cedarville University in Ohio, where she leads worship in chapel, and is involved in 3 separate worship bands on campus. Brooke’s heart for worship is very evident not just on stage, but in the way she lives her life; she wants Jesus to be the center of everything she does. When you mix her heart and leadership with her incredible voice, you can’t help but feel the presence of God in a way that points the focus back to Him.
Tommee Profitt began producing his own music in his parent’s basement when he was 8 years old, and is now a Dove Award Nominated Producer/Songwriter/Composer with Capitol CMG and produces full-time in his studio, working with clients of all genres. Since 2003, Tommee has recorded 6 full-length albums of original worship music, and has traveled with his band performing concerts and leading worship in and out of the country. He also composes and scores for a variety of entertainment outlets, and has had his productions placed in movie trailers, video games, ABC, NBC, FOX, ESPN, MTV, VH1, EA Sports, Showtime, Monday Night Football, and more. He has a love for video editing and regularly produces videos for YouTube, including covers, original music, and funny songs. His ultimate mission is to reach as many people as possible with a simple five word message: "Nothing Else Matters But God". The purpose behind all of his music is to encourage people to live their lives for God and grow closer to Him. He lives in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife, Angela, and 2 kids, McKenlee and Colton.

He is the love of my life, my constant companion, my partner, and my best friend. I cannot imagine life without Andy, but I take comfort and strength in God's Grace and in the knowledge that Andy is at peace and with God."
In an interview in Guidepost... Andy talked of his painful battle with Guillain-Barr syndrome... "I firmly believe that in every situation, not matter how difficult, God extends grace greater than the hardship and strength and peace of mind that can lead us to a place higher than where we were before". He lived his life as a testimony to that. Growing up in Sunday School Andy said he "would sing 'Jesus Loves Me' so loud that everybody would notice". Later in Life Andy, recorded a Gospel album of hyms. The album was titled "I Love to Tell the Story"
