- Meteor Shower Correction - In the past week Night Sky sent 2 push notifications about meteor showers that were inaccurate to some of our users. We're sorry for this. We quickly investigated and found this was caused due to a miscalculation in converting degrees to radians. We've corrected it in this update and going forward, all meteor shower notifications will be accurate. We've also made the meteor shower notifications even better with new meteor shower animations on Sky View!

- AR Celestial Compass - We've added a new feature to AR mode, the AR Celestial Compass. Simply lower your device whilst in AR mode, and all the currently visible planets and major stars surround the AR Celestial Compass. This allows you to see where certain celestial objects are around you before looking up into the Night Sky. We've even added an option in Preferences to permanently show the AR Celestial Compass in normal Sky View mode. A useful alternative to seeing through the Earth to the opposite hemisphere. - Tesla Roadster & Starman! - We've added Tesla Roadster tracking! On February 6th SpaceX launched a Tesla Roadster into space. You're now able to see this in Sky View. Just search Tesla Roadster in search to be directed to the object. - Humanity Star - Launched on January 20th, the Humanity Star is visible with the naked eye. We've added tracking for this object at the request of many of our users. - Environment Based Horizon Lines Cities - We've added silhouetted horizon lines for the following major cities: Chicago - US, Cupertino - US, Las Vegas - US, Los Angeles - US, New York - US, San Francisco - US, Birmingham - UK, Edinburgh - UK, London - UK, Paris - France, Rome - Italy, Madrid - Spain, Moscow - Russia, Novosibirsk - Russia, Beijing - China and Sydney - Australia. These will appear when you're in that city, when you use World Traveller, or when you generate a custom tour for that location. - Meteor Shower Notifications - A long overdue feature but it's finally here, Night Sky will now notify you of meteor showers above. To enable these notifications, just make sure you've selected Meteor Showers in My Sky Notifications. - Real Sky Representation - We've added this option in Preferences, when turned on planets and satellites appear more their actual visible size from Earth. They will look like bright stars in Night Sky. When zooming in this will reveal more detail. You can leave this feature off for quicker identification of objects. - Accessibility - We've improved support for Larger Text. When Larger Text is enabled in iOS settings, Night Sky now dynamically adjusts the main menu items to your text size preference. - Additional bug fixes and minor enhancements.

Thank you for using Night Sky ! Night Sky 4 is a great advancement over our previous version. If you would like to customize your Sky View, please look in Preferences. Here you can turn on or off the Natural Horizon, adjust Constellation Images, or show Constellation Lines. To decrease star density place 2 fingers on the Sky View and slide up or down to set the amount of objects visible to your own preference.
4.0.3 brings the following enhancements:
- Improved Push Notifications: You can now favorite planets, the Sun, Moon and the ISS in Night Sky Tonight to be automatically reminded when objects rise or pass. When a planet, the Sun or the Moon is favorited you will be notified everyday at the time it rises. When the International Space Station is favorited you will be notified 5 minutes before the next pass. On Apple Watch you can tap "Take Me to It" to have your Watch direct you to the object in the sky!
- Improved Stars - We've heard you and further improved the star representation on Sky View so they're not as intrusive.
- Improved Glass Constellations: We've added even more detail to the glass artwork for our constellations to make them even more beautiful!

I remember having a stargazing app before but it wasn’t as good as this one. It’s good to look at the sky without having to go outside with all the mosquitos and even if it’s cloudy you don’t need to bother about mourning because there’s no stars out because you have this app. It’s great to know what constellations you are looking at or even if there is that one orange dot off in the distance you may realise that this isn’t just a orange dot but it’s Mars or a part of the Milky Way. It’s great to know what beauties of the world are above or below us. I also love the news because then I can look them up myself if I want more info because they are always interesting and fun to read. Another good thing about this app is the fact that if you click on a star, satellite, planet or moon it will will give you great info also with a better look at the object with the 3D imagery. As you can see this is a great app and I hope that you download it because it is out of this world. ;)

- it has amazing premium pack. - it does NOT force you to go premium by playing ad videos every time you touch the screen. - 1 month free trail premium - fully adjustable/customisable according to personal preferences. - ABILITY TO VIEW THE SKY FROM MOON. - real and semi animated sky options to choose. - even the full free version is fantastic with all of the features mentioned above. ——————- Cons:

Overall I’m absolutely happy with this app, and really really hope that I could upgrade to premium but unfortunately I just can’t do it at the moment.
