Crosby, Stills & Nash's The Acoustic Concert is mastered with a loud and full sound. Videotaped at a 1991 show in San Francisco that was done as a memorial to the group's friend, Bill Graham, there is more here than meets the eye -- indeed, what initially meets the eye is most unpromising, the decidedly overweight presence of David Crosby and Stephen Stills (evidently Graham Nash's metabolism won't let him gain weight). But as it turns out the group vocal prowess is still very much intact, because they harmonize magnificently (far better, in fact, than they generally did at Woodstock), and despite its being credited as The Acoustic Concert, that doesn't stop Stills from picking up an electric guitar to add a little appropriate wattage to "Deja Vu," "Just a Song Before I Go," and more. Graham Nash, whose guitar was seldom ever even plugged in when he was in the Hollies, gets to play a little acoustic guitar on "Marrakesh Express," in the midst of a superb lead vocal performance. "To the Last Whale" is presented visually as more of a conceptual video than anything else here, in its opening, before the camera returns to the stage for the song's second half (featuring Nash on grand piano). Neil Young, though absent, gets a song dedicated to him in "Try to Find Me." When Stills takes center stage for his spot, he delivers a loud, crunchy rendition of "For What It's Worth" that's more a deconstruction of the song than a performance -- much more successful are the resurrections of "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" (to which he tacks on an extended acoustic guitar coda that incorporates elements of "Carry On," and a high-speed solo in which he sounds like he's playing 16th notes) and other early songs by the trio. The cameras are constantly in motion and the editing keeps the eye moving and occupied, and the show was more than good enough to occupy the ear as well, especially with the audio quality as good as it is here.

Daylight Again features Crosby, Stills & Nash on their 1982 tour, nearly a decade before The Acoustic Concert, 15 years after their first gathering and, arguably, at the peak of their form as an electric trio. The 80-minute concert video, filmed at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles, is a particularly dazzling showcase for Stephen Stills' very formidable lead guitar skills, as well as featuring solid backing from David Crosby and Graham Nash on electric guitars, with Mike Finnigan (keyboards, vocals), James Newton Howard (keyboards), Michael Stergis (guitar, vocals), George "Chocolate" Perry (bass), Efrain Toro (percussion), and Joe Vitale (drums).

Virtual International Authority File
The Virtual International Authority File (VIAF) is an international authority file. It is a joint project of several national libraries and operated by the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC). The project was initiated by the German National Library and the US Library of Congress.
The aim is to link the national authority files (such as the German Name Authority File) to a single virtual authority file. In this file, identical records from the different data sets are linked together. A VIAF record receives a standard data number, contains the primary "see" and "see also" records from the original records, and refers to the original authority records. The data are made available online and are available for research and data exchange and sharing. Reciprocal updating uses the Open Archives Initiative protocol.
The file numbers are also being added to Wikipedia biographical articles and are incorporated into Wikidata.

The Stills
The Stills were a Canadian rock band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 2000, and disbanded in 2011.
History
The band members had known each other since the age of 12 and played in various bands prior to forming The Stills.
Their EP, Rememberese, was released on June 17, 2003. Their debut album, Logic Will Break Your Heart, was released later that year. Their second album, Without Feathers, was released May 9, 2006 on Vice Records. They supported Kings of Leon on their UK spring tour in 2007.
They signed with Arts & Crafts for the release of their third album, Oceans Will Rise, which was released August 19, 2008.
On July 20, 2008 they played in Quebec City, opening for Paul McCartney, for the city's 400th anniversary. On February 7, 2009, they played at Nathan Phillips Square as part of Toronto's WinterCity Festival. They supported the Kings of Leon on their tour of Australia and New Zealand in March 2009.
On March 28, 2009, they were awarded 2 Juno Awards (Canada's music awards), in the categories for Best New Group of The Year, and Best Alternative Album of the Year for their album Oceans Will Rise.

Graham Nash
Graham William Nash, OBE (born 2 February 1942) is a British singer-songwriter known for his light tenor voice and for his songwriting contributions with the British pop group The Hollies, and with the folk-rock super group Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. A dual citizen of the United Kingdom and United States, Nash became an American citizen on 14 August 1978.
Nash is a photography collector and a published photographer. He was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1997 and as a member of The Hollies in 2010.
Nash was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2010 Birthday Honours List for services to music and to charity.
Nash holds four honorary doctorates, including one from New York Institute of Technology, one in Music from the University of Salford in 2011. and his latest Doctorate in Fine Arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Early life and music career
Nash was born in 1942 in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, his mother having been evacuated there from the Nashes' hometown of Salford, Lancashire because of the Second World War. The family subsequently returned to Salford, where Graham grew up. In the early 1960s he co-founded The Hollies, one of the UK's most successful pop groups, with schoolfriend Allan Clarke. Credited on the first album as "Group Leader", he occasionally took a lead vocal. Nash was featured vocally on "Just One Look" in 1964, and sang his first lead vocal on the original Hollies song "To You My Love" on the band's second album In The Hollies Style (1964). He then progressed to often singing featured bridge vocals on Hollies recordings; "So Lonely", "I've Been Wrong", "Pay You Back With Interest". Also by 1966 Nash was providing a few solo lead vocals on Hollies albums & then from 1967 also on B-sides to singles, notably "On a Carousel" and "Carrie Anne".

Au Québec, des milliers de personnes présentent des troubles graves de comportement. Chaque jour, environ 10 000 employé-es du réseau de la santé et des services sociaux en prennent soin. En 2010, le gouvernement a accepté d’accorder une enveloppe budgétaire pour leur permettre de récupérer lorsqu’ils en ont besoin. Il tente aujourd’hui de travestir la mission de ce budget spécial en refusant de reconnaître directement leur engagement. Il est temps de tenir parole.

Crosby, Stills & Nash's The Acoustic Concert is mastered with a loud and full sound. Videotaped at a 1991 show in San Francisco that was done as a memorial to the group's friend, Bill Graham, there is more here than meets the eye -- indeed, what initially meets the eye is most unpromising, the decidedly overweight presence of David Crosby and Stephen Stills (evidently Graham Nash's metabolism won't let him gain weight). But as it turns out the group vocal prowess is still very much intact, because they harmonize magnificently (far better, in fact, than they generally did at Woodstock), and despite its being credited as The Acoustic Concert, that doesn't stop Stills from picking up an electric guitar to add a little appropriate wattage to "Deja Vu," "Just a Song Before I Go," and more. Graham Nash, whose guitar was seldom ever even plugged in when he was in the Hollies, gets to play a little acoustic guitar on "Marrakesh Express," in the midst of a superb lead vocal performance. "To the Last Whale" is presented visually as more of a conceptual video than anything else here, in its opening, before the camera returns to the stage for the song's second half (featuring Nash on grand piano). Neil Young, though absent, gets a song dedicated to him in "Try to Find Me." When Stills takes center stage for his spot, he delivers a loud, crunchy rendition of "For What It's Worth" that's more a deconstruction of the song than a performance -- much more successful are the resurrections of "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" (to which he tacks on an extended acoustic guitar coda that incorporates elements of "Carry On," and a high-speed solo in which he sounds like he's playing 16th notes) and other early songs by the trio. The cameras are constantly in motion and the editing keeps the eye moving and occupied, and the show was more than good enough to occupy the ear as well, especially with the audio quality as good as it is here.

Cette campagne permet de rappeler les agissements questionnables de ce gouvernement, eu égard aux nombreuses allégations de collusion et de mal financement qui l’ébranlent depuis longtemps, à sa lenteur à instituer une commission d’enquête sur l’octroi des contrats dans l’industrie de la construction et à sa très grande rapidité à imposer une loi qui menace les fondements mêmes de notre démocratie.

« CBC/Radio-Canada est un diffuseur public qui ancre l'identité culturelle canadienne et assure une information de qualité. Nous devons le soutenir. Accorder au diffuseur public le financement supplémentaire dont il a besoin, c'est reconnaître son rôle essentiel d'un océan à l'autre. Les multiples compressions imposées depuis plusieurs années compromettent sa mission, alors que le Canada dispose des moyens pour financer adéquatement un diffuseur public de qualité. 5 Second Holiday ID for Comcast Sportsnet. A departure from the normal sports-centric elements seen the rest of the year, this piece focuses solely on the holiday. It keeps to the brand by having the camera energetically fly through a building Winter Wonderland; complete with Elves, Christmas Trees, Presents, Candy Canes, and all the lights you can imagine.
A Simple Whites palette was used to adhere to the Infini-white setup common in the CSN brand elements throughout the year, adding color in the elements more than in the environment.
