As president of the United States, Donald Trump is used to doing pretty well anything he wants.
It would seem that attitude extends to the golf course, where he was filmed committing one of the worst golfing etiquette atrocities earlier this month.

Footage of Trump driving over a golf course green in New Jersey has surfaced. Although the scene breaks common etiquette in the sport, it took place at the Trump National Golf Club, which is fortunately owned by the president.
In the video, the leader of the free world can be seen driving a golf cart across a green at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Two of his playing partners deposit clubs into their bags in the back of the cart before Trump, wearing one of those horrendous red "Make America Great Again" hats, parks up off the green.

This a big no-no in terms of etiquette because it can also cause damage to the greens, which are softer and more susceptible to damage than any other part of the course.
Trump is golf-mad, so he would know doing such a thing is considered faux pas (or should that be faux par?), but as you can tell by the name of the course, Trump owns the place, so probably makes his own rules.
Perhaps his judgement was clouded by a red mist descending. As he pulls up to the camera, he is asked how his round is going and replied: "Good until this hole".
