Target Audience

ACCSAP 9 is designed for all cardiovascular clinicians as well as other clinicians who care for the cardiovascular patient.

Accreditation for Physicians

The American College of Cardiology Foundation (ACCF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The ACCF designates this enduring material for a maximum of 155 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

While offering CME credits noted above, this activity is not intended to provide extensive training or certification in the field.

Accreditation for Nurses

The American College of Cardiology Foundation is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

The ACCF designates this educational activity for a maximum of 155 CNE contact hours.

Requirements for successful completion of each topic include reading text, watching presentations, answering questions, and completing an evaluation.

While offering the CME/CNE credits noted above, this program is not intended to provide extensive training or certification in the field.

MOC Information

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 155 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

MOC for Canadian Physicians

This activity is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Cardiovascular Society on 02/05/2017 and expires 07/2019. Remember to visit MAINPORT to record your learning and outcomes. You may claim a maximum of 100 hours (credits are automatically calculated).
