Jesse Bright, an attorney in Wilmington, NC, filmed this incident, in which he was stopped by Wilmington PD and New Hanover County Sheriff's Department officers. A WPD officer tells him "turn it off or I'm going to take you to jail" at the :30 second mark. A minute later, an unidentified NHC Sheriff's officer claims "they just recently passed it," referring to a law banning the filming of police officers.

Thinking outside the box to get to the heart of Wilmington's violence issue, that's what a University of Delaware professor did when he trained a group of men and women who were either caught up in life on the streets or the criminal justice system to collect data from residents in two poverty stricken neighborhoods. Many call the study an intervention experience designed to direct some of those data collectors to better opportunities.

If these aren't the most heartfelt, emotional and powerful vows you've heard at a wedding, then show me where you've seen more honesty than this. I even left out the majority of the vows from the highlights video and this is still good. I usually don't leave so much spoken word in a film, especially at the beginning of a highlights video, but I just couldn't cut this stuff out. It resonated with me, with the guests in attendance, and I hope it resonates with you. I LOVE it when couples write their own vows. So much more personal.
And a little background info for the context of these words exchanged between them: Wiley and Mallory actually met in a bar! They hit it off immediately, but their cicumstances didn't allow for a normal or "convieneint" relationship. For the entire relationship of 5 years, they sometimes lives as much as 12 hours away form each other. Againsit all odds of along distance relationship, they persevered. And it's a beautiful "love story" as told by both of them in this highlights film.
We walked away from filming Wiley & Mallory's wedding better people. We had a blast getting to know both of them, and filming parties like the one they had really makes us appreciate why we do what we do for a living. There was such genuine excitement all day from both of them. And by the way, it SNOWED at the beach! The day before the wedding I believe we got 4-5 inches of snow. It actually made for a pretty unique experience for everybody, because the majority of the friends and family came from out of town, and from all over the country. It was a treat for sure.
Wiley and Mallory established on All-Star team of local Wilmington vendors. Arguably the best DJ in town, Jay Tatum, rocked the house at St. Thomas Preservation Hall, and kept people dancing all night long. Kevin Millard of KMI Foto also delivered some amazing pictures of the event. Check 'em out!
Thanks so much Wiley & Mallory for being the definition of an awesome client, and an awesome example of marriage. We hope this film takes you back, and helps you remember even more, what that day felt like. Let's leave some comments people!

Wilmington, North Carolina
Wilmington is a port city and the county seat of New Hanover County in coastal southeastern North Carolina, United States. The population is 112,067; according to the 2010 Census it is the eighth most populous city in the state. Wilmington is the principal city of the Wilmington Metropolitan Statistical Area, a metropolitan area that includes New Hanover and Pender counties in southeastern North Carolina, which has a population of 263,429 as of the 2012 Census Estimate.
Wilmington was settled by European Americans along the Cape Fear River. Its historic downtown has a one-mile-long Riverwalk, originally developed as a tourist attraction, and in 2014 Wilmington's riverfront was named the "Best American Riverfront" by USA Today. It is minutes away from nearby beaches. The National Trust for Historic Preservation named Wilmington, North Carolina, as one of its 2008 Dozen Distinctive Destinations. City residents live between the river and the ocean, with four nearby beach communities: Fort Fisher, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, and Kure Beach, all within half-hour drives from downtown Wilmington.

White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore It is a 2012 non-fiction book written by Colin Flaherty, regarding race and crime, particularly the knockout game and violent flash mobs of black people, in the United States. It is published by WND Books.
Response
Thomas Sowell praised the book, feeling that Flaherty had done better research than Sowell had for his own Intellectuals and Society on the issue of black-on-white crime, and felt that the book and its message were being ignored or silenced.John Derbyshire at VDARE described Flaherty as "an old-style just-the-facts reporter with no ideological axe to grind" and praised his work.
Alex Pareene in Salon opined that the figures presented by Flaherty were inflated and the reporting misleading, after checking the sources cited.Cathy Young in Newsday brought up the book when discussing the knockout game, and mentioned how she felt Flaherty, while in error in a particular case, brings forth a "narrative [that] raises a painful question" about the media's failure to report incidents accurately when perpetrators are black. That failure, she cautions, undermines the media's credibility and actually risks encouraging racist paranoia.

One Tree, New South Wales
One Tree is a location on the Cobb Highway on the flat plain between Hay and Booligal in the Riverina district of New South Wales, Australia. In 1862 a public house was built there – the One Tree Inn – and the locality developed as a coach changing-stage and watering-place between the Murrumbidgee and Lachlan rivers. One Tree village was surveyed and proclaimed in 1882, though the location remained as just an amenity on the plain, centred on the hotel.
The existing One Tree Hotel is the second building of that name to occupy the site. The first hotel was destroyed by fire in 1903. The hotel was re-built in the same manner as the original structure (by the provisions of the insurance policy). The license of the One Tree Hotel was relinquished in 1942 by its last publican, Frank McQuade. The One Tree Hotel is an important historical building, providing a tangible link to the heyday of pastoral settlement in the Riverina.
The name ‘One Tree’ derives from the presence of a large gum tree on the otherwise treeless plain (called the One Tree Plain). The landmark tree was destroyed by a storm in January 1900.

http://lifestagefilms.com Wilmington, NC If these aren't the most heartfelt, emotional and powerful vows you've heard at a wedding, then show me where you've seen more honesty than this. I even left out the majority of the vows from the highlights video and this is still good. I usually don't leave so much spoken word in a film, especially at the beginning of a highlights video, but I just couldn't cut this stuff out. It resonated with me, with the guests in attendance, and I hope it resonates with you. I LOVE it when couples write their own vows. So much more personal. And a little background info for the context of these words exchanged between them: Wiley and Mallory actually met in a bar! They hit it off immediately, but their cicumstances didn't allow for a normal or "convieneint" relationship. For the entire relationship of 5 years, they sometimes lives as much as 12 hours away form each other. Againsit all odds of along distance relationship, they persevered. And it's a beautiful "love story" as told by both of them in this highlights film. We walked away from filming Wiley & Mallory's wedding better people. We had a blast getting to know both of them, and filming parties like the one they had really makes us appreciate why we do what we do for a living. There was such genuine excitement all day from both of them. And by the way, it SNOWED at the beach! The day before the wedding I believe we got 4-5 inches of snow. It actually made for a pretty unique experience for everybody, because the majority of the friends and family came from out of town, and from all over the country. It was a treat for sure. Wiley and Mallory established on All-Star team of local Wilmington vendors. Arguably the best DJ in town, Jay Tatum, rocked the house at St. Thomas Preservation Hall, and kept people dancing all night long. Kevin Millard of KMI Foto also delivered some amazing pictures of the event. Check 'em out! Thanks so much Wiley & Mallory for being the definition of an awesome client, and an awesome example of marriage. We hope this film takes you back, and helps you remember even more, what that day felt like. Let's leave some comments people! -

A minute later, an unidentified NHC Sheriff's officer claims "they just recently passed it," referring to a law banning the filming of police officers.

Many call the study an intervention experience designed to direct some of those data collectors to better opportunities.

If these aren't the most heartfelt, emotional and powerful vows you've heard at a wedding, then show me where you've seen more honesty than this. I even left out the majority of the vows from the highlights video and this is still good. I usually don't leave so much spoken word in a film, especially at the beginning of a highlights video, but I just couldn't cut this stuff out. It resonated with me, with the guests in attendance, and I hope it resonates with you. I LOVE it when couples write their own vows. So much more personal.
And a little background info for the context of these words exchanged between them: Wiley and Mallory actually met in a bar! They hit it off immediately, but their cicumstances didn't allow for a normal or "convieneint" relationship. For the entire relationship of 5 years, they sometimes lives as much as 12 hours away form each other. Againsit all odds of along distance relationship, they persevered. And it's a beautiful "love story" as told by both of them in this highlights film.
We walked away from filming Wiley & Mallory's wedding better people. We had a blast getting to know both of them, and filming parties like the one they had really makes us appreciate why we do what we do for a living. There was such genuine excitement all day from both of them. And by the way, it SNOWED at the beach! The day before the wedding I believe we got 4-5 inches of snow. It actually made for a pretty unique experience for everybody, because the majority of the friends and family came from out of town, and from all over the country. It was a treat for sure.
Wiley and Mallory established on All-Star team of local Wilmington vendors. Arguably the best DJ in town, Jay Tatum, rocked the house at St. Thomas Preservation Hall, and kept people dancing all night long. Kevin Millard of KMI Foto also delivered some amazing pictures of the event. Check 'em out!
Thanks so much Wiley & Mallory for being the definition of an awesome client, and an awesome example of marriage. We hope this film takes you back, and helps you remember even more, what that day felt like. Let's leave some comments people!

The latest senseless act of violence where a 16 year old female who was an honor student, was badly beaten inside her high school and later died of her injuries at the hospital gave me the inspiration to shoot this short aerial film. With all the negativity with shootings and murders in the city, I wanted to show Wilmington in a positive light.

Jesse Bright, an attorney in Wilmington, NC, filmed this incident, in which he was stopped by Wilmington PD and New Hanover County Sheriff's Department officers. A WPD officer tells him "turn it off or I'm going to take you to jail" at the :30 second mark. A minute later, an unidentified NHC Sheriff's officer claims "they just recently passed it," referring to a law banning the filming of police officers.

Thinking outside the box to get to the heart of Wilmington's violence issue, that's what a University of Delaware professor did when he trained a group of men and women who were either caught up in life on the streets or the criminal justice system to collect data from residents in two poverty stricken neighborhoods. Many call the study an intervention experience designed to direct some of those data collectors to better opportunities.

I even left out the majority of the vows from the highlights video and this is still good. I usually don't leave so much spoken word in a film, especially at the beginning of a highlights video, but I just couldn't cut this stuff out. It resonated with me, with the guests in attendance, and I hope it resonates with you. I LOVE it when couples write their own vows. So much more personal. And a little background info for the context of these words exchanged between them: Wiley and Mallory actually met in a bar! They hit it off immediately, but their cicumstances didn't allow for a normal or "convieneint" ...

The latest senseless act of violence where a 16 year old female who was an honor student, was badly beaten inside her high school and later died of her injuries at the hospital gave me the inspiration to shoot this short aerial film. Many call the study an intervention experience designed to direct some of those data collectors to better opportunities.

If these aren't the most heartfelt, emotional and powerful vows you've heard at a wedding, then show me where you've seen more honesty than this. I even left out the majority of the vows from the highlights video and this is still good. I usually don't leave so much spoken word in a film, especially at the beginning of a highlights video, but I just couldn't cut this stuff out. It resonated with me, with the guests in attendance, and I hope it resonates with you. I LOVE it when couples write their own vows. So much more personal.
And a little background info for the context of these words exchanged between them: Wiley and Mallory actually met in a bar! They hit it off immediately, but their cicumstances didn't allow for a normal or "convieneint" relationship. For the entire relationship of 5 years, they sometimes lives as much as 12 hours away form each other. Againsit all odds of along distance relationship, they persevered. And it's a beautiful "love story" as told by both of them in this highlights film.
We walked away from filming Wiley & Mallory's wedding better people. We had a blast getting to know both of them, and filming parties like the one they had really makes us appreciate why we do what we do for a living. There was such genuine excitement all day from both of them. And by the way, it SNOWED at the beach! The day before the wedding I believe we got 4-5 inches of snow. It actually made for a pretty unique experience for everybody, because the majority of the friends and family came from out of town, and from all over the country. It was a treat for sure.
Wiley and Mallory established on All-Star team of local Wilmington vendors. Arguably the best DJ in town, Jay Tatum, rocked the house at St. Thomas Preservation Hall, and kept people dancing all night long. Kevin Millard of KMI Foto also delivered some amazing pictures of the event. Check 'em out!
Thanks so much Wiley & Mallory for being the definition of an awesome client, and an awesome example of marriage. We hope this film takes you back, and helps you remember even more, what that day felt like. Let's leave some comments people!

An aerial film of Wilmington, DE almost completely shot with a drone. The latest senseless act of violence where a 16 year old female who was an honor student, was badly beaten inside her high school and later died of her injuries at the hospital gave me the inspiration to shoot this short aerial film. With all the negativity with shootings and murders in the city, I wanted to show Wilmington in a positive light.
