Dar al-Hajar- Sana'a, Yemen|| دار الحجر- صنعاء اليمن
You'll find this mansion near Sana'a in eastern Yemen. Although the current structure was built in the early 1900s, there have been several iterations dating back to the 17th century.

Al Hajjarah sometimes spelled Al Hajarah or Al Hajjara, is a village in Yemen. The word Hajar means 'stone", was built in the mountains of Kharaz in the XII century by the Sulaihids, and became an important fortification during the Ottoman occupation of Yemen. It is located in the Manakhah District of the Sana'a Governorat. The basis of the ancient settlement amounted to a huge multi-storey houses, formed of massive stone blocks extracted in nearby quarries. High brown buildings with flat roofs resemble modern skyscrapers.
The main task of the ancient tower blocks were domestic residents accommodation Al Hajar and their protection from enemy attacks. Massive skyscrapers were built in close proximity to each other, had no windows in the lower part and actually merged with the mountains that served as a further guarantee of safety. Sana'a
Sana'a (also spelled Sanaa or Sana; Arabic: صنعاء Ṣan‘ā’ pronounced [sˤɑnʕaːʔ], Yemeni Arabic: [ˈsˤɑnʕɑ]) is the largest city in Yemen and the centre of Sana'a Governorate. The city is not part of the Governorate, but forms the separate administrative district of "Amanat Al-Asemah". Under the Yemeni constitution, Sana'a is the capital of the country, although the seat of the internationally recognised government moved to Aden in the aftermath of the 2014–15 Yemeni coup d'état. Aden was declared as the temporary capital by President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi in March 2015.
Sana'a is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. At an altitude of 2,300 metres (7,500 ft), it is also one of the highest capital cities in the world. Sana'a has a population of approximately 1,937,500 (2012), making it Yemen's largest city.
The old city of Sana'a, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has a distinctive visual character due to its unique architectural characteristics, most notably expressed in its multi-storey buildings decorated with geometric patterns. In the conflict that raged in 2015, bombs hit UNESCO sites. Located here is the Great Mosque of Sana'a, the largest in the city.

Dar al-Hajar
The Dar al-Hajar (Arabic: دار الحجر, "Stone House") is a royal palace located in Wadi Dhar near Sana‘a, Yemen.
It was the residence of Imam Yahya Muhammad Hamid ed-Din, ruler of Yemen. The building on top of a rock was built as a summer retreat.

Yemen (
i/ˈjɛmən/; Arabic: اليَمَن al-Yaman), officially known as the Republic of Yemen (الجمهورية اليمنية al-Jumhūrīyah al-Yamanīyah), is an Arab country in Western Asia, occupying the southwestern to the southern end of the Arabian Peninsula. Yemen is the second largest country in the peninsula, occupying 527,970 km2 (203,850 sq mi). The coastline stretches for about 2,000 km (1,200 mi). It is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the north, the Red Sea to the west, the Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea to the south, and Oman to the east. Although Yemen's constitutionally stated capital is the city of Sana'a, the city has been under rebel control since February 2015. Because of this, Yemen's capital has been temporarily relocated to the port city of Aden, on the southern coast. Yemen's territory includes more than 200 islands; the largest of these is Socotra.
Yemen was the home of the Sabaeans (biblical Sheba), a trading state that flourished for over a thousand years and probably also included parts of modern-day Ethiopia and Eritrea. In 275 AD, the region came under the rule of the later Jewish influenced Himyarite Kingdom. Christianity arrived in the 4th century AD whereas Judaism and local paganism were already established. Islam spread quickly in the 7th century and Yemenite troops were crucial in the expansion of the early Islamic conquests. Administration of Yemen has long been notoriously difficult. Several dynasties emerged from the 9th to 16th century, the Rasulid being the strongest and most prosperous. The country was divided between the Ottoman and British empires in the early 20th century. The Zaydi Mutawakkilite Kingdom of Yemen was established after World War I in North Yemen before the creation of Yemen Arab Republic in 1962. South Yemen remained a British protectorate until 1967. The two Yemeni states united to form the modern republic of Yemen in 1990.

Al Hajjarah sometimes spelled Al Hajarah or Al Hajjara, is a village in Yemen. The word Hajar means 'stone", was built in the mountains of Kharaz in the XII century by the Sulaihids, and became an important fortification during the Ottoman occupation of Yemen. It is located in the Manakhah District of the Sana'a Governorat. The basis of the ancient settlement amounted to a huge multi-storey houses, formed of massive stone blocks extracted in nearby quarries. Al Hajjarah | Ancient Village on a Cliff, Yemen
Al Hajjarah sometimes spelled Al Hajarah or Al Hajjara, is a village in Yemen. The word Hajar means 'stone", was built in the mountains of Kharaz in the XII century by the Sulaihids, and became an important fortification during the Ottoman occupation of Yemen. It is located in the Manakhah District of the Sana'a Governorat. The basis of the ancient settlement amounted to a huge multi-storey houses, formed of massive stone blocks extracted in nearby quarries. 마을입구에서 나무줄기 같은 것을 열심히 정리하는 농부들을 만날 수 있었다. 이들은 작업하고 있는 것은 바로 까트였다. 까트는 예멘 사람들이 즐겨 씹는 나뭇잎의 일종으로 마약류로 분류되어 국제적으로 유통이 금지된 식물이다. 하지만 까트를 빼고 예멘 사람들의 생활을 이해하긴 어렵다. “까트는 모임이나 결혼식 등에서 사용됩니다. 사람들의 문제를 해결해 주지요. 평상시뿐만 아니라 행사가 있는 날에 사용되고 좋지 않은 향기를 없애 주기도 합니다.“ 마을 안쪽으로 들어서자 거대한 돌 위에 세워진 건물하나가 눈에 들어온다. 바로 돌 위의 궁전이다. 돌 위의 궁전은 말 그대로 돌 위에 지어진 집으로 이맘의 여름별장으로 사용되던 곳이다. 하지만 이곳의 원래주인은 수천 년 전 시바왕조까지 거슬러 올라간다고 한다. 궁전안의 우물터가 그 역사를 말해준다고 한다. 건물의 제일 꼭대기에는 이맘이 살던 곳이 나온다. 크진 않지만 화려하게 장식된 소품들은 절대 권력을 휘둘렀던 이맘의 위세를 알 수 있게 했다. 이맘의 방을 빠져 나오자 시원한 바깥경치를 볼 수 있는 발코니가 펼쳐졌는데 이곳에서 특이한 창문 하나를 발견할 수 있었다. 바로 얼굴을 감춰야 하는 여자들을 위한 전용 창문이다. 지금 이 창문을 사용하는 사람은 아무도 없지만 세상과 떨어져 살아야 했던 아랍 여자들의 생활을 짐작할 수 있었다.

كبور" رجل من" الطراز القديم" يملك رياضا يوجد بمنطقة تحولت معظم دورها إلى عمارات شاهقة، لكن الرجل متشبث بأن يظل الرياض على حاله باعتباره إرث امتلكه أبا عن جد. ورفض جميع العروض التي تقدمت له من أجل بيعه غير مكترث باقتراحات أبنائه الذين أرغمهم على السكن معه في الرياض ذاته من أجل الحفاظ على المفهوم التقليدي للعائلة المغربية، حيث يجتمع الأب وأبناؤه وحفدته في نفس الدار. لكن في الوقت الحاضر أصبح الأمر صعباً بسبب التفاوت في العقليات واختلاف الإكراهات، الأمر الذي يجعل كبور يقع مع أبنائه وبناته في أحداث ومواقف طريفة تزيدها حدة طبيعة الظروف الاقتصادية والاجتماعية المعاشة في وقتنا هذا مما يدفع الأبناء وزوجاتهم إلى اعتبار الرياض منفذهم الوحيد لتحسين وضعهم المادي، الشيء الذي لن يروق للأب "كبور" الذي سيواجه ذلك بتخريجاته الهزلية ومراوغاته الطريفة لجميع المقالب التي يريد أبناؤه وضعه فيها.

meeting with Us say, "Bring us a Qur'an other than this or change it." Say, [O Muhammad], "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."
