Marife Necesito is a stage, film and TV actress/ commercial model in the Philippines. She is a member of Balintataw Film & Theater Arts of the UNESCO Philippine Center for International Theater .
She has done many ad works. No stranger to theater, various works can be credited to her. For Dulaang Bonifacio, she did August Strindberg, "Miss Julie" as Julie and "Elias and Salome (Excerpt)"as Salome - all under the direction of real life friend and mentor Angie Ferro. For Balintataw Theater Group, she was a part of "Trojan Women" under the direction of Nikos Shiafkalis, as "Perla" in the stage adaptation of the award-winning film "Maynila Sa Kuko ng Liwanag", as "Juli" in "El Filibusterismo" and as "Lucing/Penang" in "Without Seeing the Dawn", under the direction of theater veteran Joe Gruta. Other stage plays include Des Bautista's "Heroes of Ilocos" as Princess Urduja, Noel Miralles' "Song for Ana" playing the lead role, George Vail Kabristante's "Movie Reporters on the Loose VI" as Amanda K., and Joven Velasco's "Square Paradise" as Simplicia. In Cinema, she is making noise as the "under rated Pinoy Actress turned International Sensation".
Her later film is Memfis Production's "MAMMUT" (Mammoth) directed by award-winning Swedish director Lukas Moodysson. She plays the role of "Gloria" opposite Gael Garcia Bernal and Academy Award Nominee Michelle Williams.The film are one of the official selections for the main competition of the 59th BERLINALE FILM FESTIVAL(2009).
She got nominated as Best Actress in11th CINEMANILA film festival of the said film.
She's done other international films as well. She played the challenging role of "Jocasta" under the direction of Singaporean filmmaker Chew Tze Chuan entitled "Carnaval". She was a "Dong Ha" Bar Girl in Sidney Furie's "Going Back". This Canadian-based Production was shown in HBO. Marife Necesito
Marife Necesito is a Filipino actress on stage, film, and television productions. After portraying several obscure roles, she was cast in the film Mammoth with Mexican actor Gael García Bernal and American actress Michelle Williams.
Early life and career
Necesito was born in Manila and raised in Valenzuela City, a suburb of Metro Manila which at that time was part of Bulacan Province. After finishing high school at St. Jude Academy in Valenzuela's Malinta district, she pursued creative writing for Tagalog komiks and romance novels. When the komiks industry went downhill, she then shifted to acting for theater where she was trained by senior thespians Cecile Guidote-Alvarez and Angie Ferro. Her theatrical stint paved the way for her to act for television commercials and independent films.
Role in Mammoth
In Mammoth, Necesito portrays the role of Gloria, a mother of two sons who leaves the Philippines to work as a nanny of the daughter (Sophie Nyweide) of an American couple played by Gael García Bernal and Michelle Williams. When Bernal's character goes to Thailand for a business trip, he decides to change his life that would set off a chain of events that impact the rest of the family, including Gloria. Necesito bested other local actresses in the auditions, which she revealed took more than a year, including Alessandra de Rossi, Chin Chin Gutierrez, Joyce Jimenez, and Pinky Amador. She said in an interview with Philippine Daily Inquirer that she considers Mammoth as her biggest break so far.

Festival

Lukas Moodysson
Karl Frederik Lukas Moodysson (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈlʉːkas ˈmɔdːʏ.ˈsɔn]) (born 17 January 1969) is a Swedish novelist, short story writer and film director. First appearing in public as an ambitious poet in the 1980s, he had his big public, and international, breakthrough directing the 1998 romance film Show Me Love. He has since directed a string of films with different styles and public appeal, as well as continued to write both poetry and novels. In 2007, the Guardian ranked Moodysson 11th in its list of the world’s best directors, describing his directorial style as “heartfelt and uncompromising.”
Early life
Born in Lund, Moodysson grew up in Åkarp, Skåne County as an outcast, expressing himself through poetry. By the time he was 23 he had written five poetry collections and a novel published by Wahlström & Widstrand. He decided to move to film to produce works that were less introverted and could be enjoyed by a wider audience than poetry. After studying at what was then Sweden's only film school, the Dramatiska Institutet, he directed three short films before moving to features.

Lavrente Indico Diaz (born December 30, 1958) is a Filipino independent filmmaker.
He has won several international awards such as the award for Best Picture at the Singapore International Film Festival, the Independent Film Festival of Brussels and Gawad Urian in 2002 and Netpac Jury Prize and Best Acting Ensemble (2001 Cinemanila International Film Festival) for his film Batang West Side (including Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Music, Best Sound at the Urian), in Gawad Urian in 2005 for the film Ebolusyon ng Isang Pamilyang Pilipino (Evolution of a Filipino Family), and Special Jury Prize at the Fribourg International Film Festival in 2006 for Heremias, Book One.
His films often tackle the issues regarding the current social and political state of the Philippines. His film Kagadanan sa Banwaan ning mga Engkanto (Death in the Land of Encantos), the Closing Film of the orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival 2007, was awarded with a Golden Lion Special Mention. Death in the Land of Encantos was also in competition at the Artistic Innovation Award (Visions) of the Toronto International Film Festival 2007. He received several awards at the Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. His film Melancholia won the Orizzonti Grand Prize at the 65th Venice International Film Festival in 2008. In January 2011 he joined the Board of Directors for Cine Foundation International.

For Dulaang Bonifacio, she did August Strindberg, "Miss Julie" as Julie and "Elias and Salome (Excerpt)"as Salome - all under the direction of real life friend and mentor Angie Ferro. For Balintataw Theater Group, she was a part of "Trojan Women" under the direction of Nikos Shiafkalis, as "Perla" in the stage adaptation of the award-winning film "Maynila Sa Kuko ng Liwanag", as "Juli" in "El Filibusterismo" and as "Lucing/Penang" in "Without Seeing the Dawn", under the direction of theater veteran Joe Gruta. Other stage plays include Des Bautista's "Heroes of Ilocos" as Princess Urduja, Noel Miralles' "Song for Ana" playing the lead role, George Vail Kabristante's "Movie Reporters on the Loose VI" as Amanda K., and Joven Velasco's "Square Paradise" as Simplicia. In Cinema, she is making noise as the "under rated Pinoy Actress turned International Sensation".

Vendedora de Coplas” es uno de sus últimos grandes éxitos y da título al disco publicado en 1989.

Synopsis
Bingo Cruz thinks he's had the perfect and complete life -- and ultimately deserves the Beetle car as his college graduation gift. This is after being the goody-goody son who remorsefully follows the strict codes of his parents for years. But when his mother reveals that his deceased father wasn't his real dad -- and that his biological father lives and owns a business in a far-flung province up north, he will gather his childhood friends, Calvin Lopez -- a moviestar, and Jay Salvacion -- a college dropout, to go on in a masked road trip finding his dad.
Calvin is getting tired of his busy showbiz schedules that he longs to have a time for himself. This trip is an escape for him.
Jay doesn't seem to know his priorities -- his education suffers -- as his lovelife seems to sit on top of it. This trip is a time to reevaluate.
Along the way, the Beetle -- although has remained to be a road novelty and a subject of that classic Pendong game where a man hits someone who is standing next when he sees a Beetle [popularly called as Kotseng Kuba] -- will be the cause of numerous mishaps along the way.
They will pick up a sexy, vixen lady LEXY -- who becomes the subject of their trip's desire. Lexy will instead give them not just hard-ons but will put them between a rock and a hard place eventually.
As their situation escalates into worse times -- funny but bumpy episodes will prove to be a relief in their long, arduous journey.
Until they discover in the end that they should've not gone further looking -- as search for answers have already been inside them, near them -- they just have to learn it and realize for themselves.

Estudió Derecho en la Universidad Libre y Pedagogía en la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (Bogotá).
Entre sus composiciones más destacadas se encuentran: «Ay, mi llanura» (adoptado como himno del departamento del Meta en 1979) «Hato Canaguay». «Canta llano», «Amo», «Quinceañera», «A quién engañas abuelo» y la Misa en Sol Mayor, la cual fue encargada e interpretada para la visita de Juan Pablo II (2 de julio de 1986) donde reunió 37 coros de la ciudad de Bogotá, los cuales sumaban casi 600 voces para tan magno evento.
Realizó sus estudios profesionales en la Universidad Libre de Bogotá siguiendo la carrera de Derecho. Culminó su carrera en 1973, con su tesis de grado titulada “Los derechos del artista en Colombia” expuso una problemática nacional y estableció los parámetros legales de defensa al artista “…Se dedicó por entero al servicio de los artistas, en una dura batalla contra los robos de derecho de autor, el escamoteo en las regalías y el asalto a la labor honrada. Paralelamente, el maestro continuó con su carrera musical, dirigiendo coros, componiendo canciones, realizando giras internacionales y nacionales y ganándose el cariño del público colombiano.
Posteriormente, Arnulfo Briceño estudió, simultáneamente con sus tres hijos mayores, Licenciatura en Pedagogía musical en la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional de donde se graduó en 1981. Siendo un compositor famoso, decidió estudiar música formalmente para enriquecer sus composiciones y realizar con excelencia los arreglos musicales. Como parte de uno de sus trabajos de contrapunto, decidió no realizar pequeños fragmentos sino escribir una misa para coro en Sol mayor, la cual había sido encargada por un amigo sacerdote, para ser interpretada en su parroquia; la misa se empezó a desarrollar bajo guía del maestro Jesús Pinzón y fue terminada por el autor para ser interpretada para la visita del papa Juan Pablo II, (2 de julio de 1986) donde reunió 37 coros de la ciudad de Bogotá, los cuales sumaban casi 600 voces para integrar tan magno evento[7]. Arnulfo Briceño fue un estudiante incansable, también estudió francés, ruso, inglés y latín.
Pereció en accidente aéreo el 11 de junio de 1989, cuando el avión de Aerotaca HK 24-86 en que viajaba con otros 5 ocupantes se estrelló contra un cerro a 25 kilómetros de Tame, Arauca, en la vereda Caribabare del mismo municipio. Había sido llamado a interpretar el himno de Tame, Arauca, en conmemoración a los 170 años de la campaña libertadora.

Arnulfo Briceño Contreras Corregimiento de Villa Sucre, nació en Arboledas, Norte de Santander, 26 de junio de 1938 y falleció en accidente aéreo en Tame, Arauca, 11 de junio de 1989. Fue un autor, compositor, intérprete, abogado y pedagogo colombiano. A pesar de haber nacido en la Región Andina, se destacó como un gran exponente del folclor llanero.
Hijo de un carpintero, Pedro José Briceño y su esposa Isolina Contreras, nació en Villa Sucre, Norte de Santander el 26 de junio de 1938 y murió en un accidente aéreo el 11 de junio de 1989. Cantautor, Pedagogo y Abogado.
Estudió Derecho en la Universidad Libre y Pedagogía en la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (Bogotá).
Entre sus composiciones más destacadas se encuentran: «Ay, mi llanura» (adoptado como himno del departamento del Meta en 1979) «Hato Canaguay». «Canta llano», «Amo», «Quinceañera», «A quién engañas abuelo» y la Misa en Sol Mayor, la cual fue encargada e interpretada para la visita de Juan Pablo II (2 de julio de 1986) donde reunió 37 coros de la ciudad de Bogotá, los cuales sumaban casi 600 voces para tan magno evento.
Realizó sus estudios profesionales en la Universidad Libre de Bogotá siguiendo la carrera de Derecho. De film Lilet Never Happened is een karakter gestuurd verhaal over een onaangepast Filippijns straatmeisje, Lilet, die vecht om te overleven op de straten van Manila en dreigt af te glijden in de prostitutie.
