Angelo is a character in Shakespeare's play Measure for Measure. He is the play's main antagonist.

Role in the play

Angelo is the deputy to Vincentio, the Duke of Vienna, who begins the play by departing the city under mysterious circumstances and leaves the strait-laced Angelo in power. Angelo's first act is to begin the enforcement of an old law that makes fornication punishable by death, but proves himself a hypocrite when Isabella, the sister of Claudio, the first man sentenced under the law, comes to plead for her brother's life. Angelo agrees to commute the sentence only if she will sleep with him. Angelo is ultimately duped by being set up with Mariana, a woman he was once betrothed to, who masquerades as Isabella at the assignation. And after Angelo thinks he has attained the object of desire, he covers his tracks by ordering the execution of Claudio after all. But before the scheme is revealed to him, he admits his angst over his behaviour:

"This deed unshapes me quite, makes me unpregnant
And dull to all proceedings. A deflower'd maid!
And by an eminent body that enforced
The law against it! But that her tender shame
Will not proclaim against her maiden loss,

Diamond Is Unbreakable

Diamond Is Unbreakable (ダイヤモンドは砕けない, Daiyamondo wa Kudakenai, formerly translated as Diamond Is Not Crash) is the fourth story arc of the Japanese manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1992 to 1995. In its original publication, it was titled JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Jōsuke Higashikata (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 第4部 東方仗助, JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken Dai Yon Bu: Higashikata Jōsuke). The series will be adapted as the third season of David Production's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure television anime series in April 2016.

Araki retroactively introduced the Bow and Arrow in this arc, which causes people pierced by it to develop Stand ability. Apparently this was used on DIO at the beginning of Part 3, which not only gave him a Stand but causes Stands to develop in the Joestar bloodline as well. As it is the fourth part of the series, the 174 chapters pick up where the third left off and are numbered 266 to 439, with the tankōbon volumes numbered 29 to 46 (the last three chapters are in volume 47). It was preceded by Stardust Crusaders and followed by Vento Aureo.

FEAT (album)

FEAT (pronounced "F-E-A-T") is the first studio album by Chicago-based record production duo The Hood Internet. It was released on Decon on October 2, 2012. The album features guest appearances from A.C. Newman, Cadence Weapon, and Class Actress, among others. Music videos were created for "Won't Fuck Us Over", "One for the Record Books", and "More Fun".

The remix album, FEAT Remixes, was released on December 18, 2012.

Chameau (les Saintes)

Chameau (literally: Camel) is a mountain located on Terre-de-Haut Island on the archipelago of Îles des Saintes with the height of 306 meters (1,004 feet).It is the most elevated hill of the archipelago. Chameau is situated in the Southwest of Terre-de-Haut island and is covered with forest. In the summit, there is an ancient watchtower, called La tour modèle (literally: Model tower) where we have a magnificent panorama on the archipelago.

Today, Chameau is the property of the Conservatoire du littoral and is a protected site category IV IUCN.

L'histoire de Manon

L'histoire de Manon, generally referred to as Manon, is a ballet choreographed by Kenneth MacMillan to music by Jules Massenet and based on the 1731 novel Manon Lescaut by Abbé Prévost. The ballet was first performed by The Royal Ballet in London in 1974 with Antoinette Sibley and Anthony Dowell in the leading roles. It continues to be performed and recognised internationally.

Background

Kenneth MacMillan had been thinking about choreographing a ballet about the story of Manon Lescaut for some time. Three years into his artistic directorship of The Royal Ballet, he wanted to create a large-scale operatic ballet that would provide exciting roles both for the company's principal dancers and the corps de ballet.

On the last night of the company's summer season in 1973, MacMillan left a copy of Prévost's novel in Antoinette Sibley's dressing room, with a note informing her that it would "come in handy for March 7, '74". As the copy of Manon Lescaut was in a double volume with the novella Carmen by Prosper Mérimée, Sibley asked Anthony Dowell to find out which story was to be turned into a ballet, while she performed onstage in The Sleeping Beauty.
