A refugee, according to the Geneva Convention on Refugees is a person who is outside their country of citizenship because they have well-founded grounds for fear of persecution because of their race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, and is unable to obtain sanctuary from their home country or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail themselves of the protection of that country; or in the case of not having a nationality and being outside their country of former habitual residence as a result of such event, is unable or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to return to their country of former habitual residence. Such a person may be called an "asylum seeker" until considered with the status of "refugee" by the Contracting State where they formally make a claim for sanctuary or right of asylum.
In UN parlance, the definition of the word has been expanded to include descendants of refugees, in the case of two specific groups: Palestinian refugees and Sahrawi refugees. Currently, the UN does not consider refugee status to be hereditary for any other groups.
The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is an international humanitarian movement with approximately 97 million volunteers, members and staff worldwide which was founded to protect human life and health, to ensure respect for all human beings, and to prevent and alleviate human suffering.
The movement consists of several distinct organizations that are legally independent from each other, but are united within the movement through common basic principles, objectives, symbols, statutes and governing organisations. The movement's parts are:
Angela Dorothea Merkel (née Kasner; born 17 July 1954) is a German politician and former research scientist who has been the Chancellor of Germany since 2005 and the Leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 2000.
Having earned a doctorate as a physical chemist, Merkel entered politics in the wake of the Revolutions of 1989, briefly serving as a deputy spokesperson for the first democratically elected East German Government in 1990. Following German reunification in 1990, she was elected to the Bundestag for Stralsund-Nordvorpommern-Rügen in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a seat she has held ever since. She was later appointed as the Minister for Women and Youth in 1991 under Chancellor Helmut Kohl, later becoming the Minister for the Environment in 1994. After Kohl was defeated in 1998, she was elected Secretary-General of the CDU before becoming the party's first female leader two years later in the aftermath of a donations scandal that toppled Wolfgang Schäuble.

Liberal Doctor Tries To Help Refugees To Prove They’re Peaceful – Gets NASTY ‘Thank You’ For Her Service We’re only into the first half of Ramadan and already the Muslim population is going nuts with an increased number of terror attacks as they believe killing during their “holy month” results in more awards from Allah. But despite the massive slaughter of innocents being perpetrated by these savages, liberals are still eager to open their borders and hearts to these barbarians, in an ongoing and idiotic effort to prove that Islam is a “religion of peace.” Well now a bleeding heart liberal from the Red Cross who tried to help refugees in Germany has just become intimately familiar with the “religion of peace,” in a brutal lesson that has tragically cost her her life. Germany has been lead...
Desperate to escape conflict and poverty, thousands of migrants and refugees attempt the perilous journey to Europe each year, with many crossing the Mediterranean Sea from North Africa in rubber dinghies and wooden boats. In the wake of the decommissioning of Mare Nostrum, a search and rescue operation run by Italy, the humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), launched their own vessel, named the Bourbon Argos, to find those stranded at sea and save those in trouble on one of the deadliest routes to Europe. On board the vessel, refugees and migrants are provided with medical aid, food, and shelter, then brought safely to Italian shores. Having survived life in Libya, ruthless treatment by smugglers, and horrific conditions aboard flimsy boats, once aboard the Bourbon Ar...
This segment originally aired Nov. 14, 2016, on VICE News Tonight on HBO. “There is no proper housing, no good life,” a Syrian refugee named Farouk told VICE News correspondent Milène Larsson in Berlin. “There is no good food, no work. Some people have to wait for a year to start learning German. People say it’s our fault, no.” When the migrant crisis began to overwhelm Europe last year, German Chancellor Angela Merkel stood out for her insistence on opening the country to newcomers. More than a million refugees moved in, and now Merkel’s popularity is waning. “Our rooms are very cramped,” Farouk said. “No money, nothing that we can build a life with. There is nothing that gives us hope for tomorrow.” Read "Angela Merkel seeks a fourth term as German Chancellor" - http://bit.ly/2gNlmif...
Arabic Speaking Woman Overhears What Muslim Refugees Have Planned And It Will Chill You To The Bone In 2015 an incident occurred that many didn’t hear about and that many are still not aware of. A train station in Budapest was laid siege to by Muslim ‘refugees’ and ticket holding passengers were tormented with threats and insults. Most of the legit passengers couldn’t understand the Arabic language and as a result was led to believe by media that the Muslims attacking the trains were simply displaced and in fear for their lives. However, one European woman who happened to be on that train had lived many years in Arabic-speaking countries and understood the words and intentions of the Muslims perfectly well and what she heard was horrifying. She did interviews to tell the world the truth a...
With the influx of Muslim refugees into Europe, violent attacks have spiked and the demand for guns of all kind is at an all time high. This video shows a group of "refugees" attacking a man who they do not know has his concealed carry license and a firearm.
Muslim Refugees Are Fleeing Arizona Like The PLAGUE – All It Took Was ONE Genius Change Under the Obama administration, they wanted states to take in thousands of refugees from foreign countries. They pretended this was good for our country. We are a nation of immigrants, right? So Americans could not be upset about thousands, tens of thousands, of strangers being dumped into our communities. They did not want to tell us these were people from Muslim-majority countries, who do not value or embrace American customs. They do not believe in free speech, freedom of religion, or even equal rights for women. Nor did the liberals tell us these thousands of refugees would be a burden to the taxpayer–the real reason democrats want them. All these new faces would drain our government benefits. Th...
You are the dust and
I am the rain
Let's go out in the rust and
Let''s gather the change
Let's take to the streets
You and I we're life's refugees
But like Bonnie andp Clyde we're free
Don't say there's nothing between us
You stain the pavements
I'll take the blame
Our love is our saviour
Our life is our grave
Let's take to the streets
You and I we're life's refugees
But like Bonnie and Clyde we're free
Don't say there's nothing between us
'Cause we're all refugees
And we're all drifting like leaves
But like Bonnie and Clyde we're free
Don't say there's nothing between us
We'll live for the sunshine
And smile through the rain
And we're all refugees
And we're all drifting like leaves
But like Bonnie and Clyde we're free
Don't say there's nothing between us
So let's take to the streets
You and I compete with the freaks
And like Bonnie and Clyde we're free
Don't say there's nothing between us
Well there's nothing between us
Well there's nothing between us
