20 kids' names likely to be on the 'naughty' list

Many of us have an idea in our minds of 'naughty' names and 'nice' names. Usually we're influenced by the personalities we grew up with - maybe we sent to school with a 'naughty' Dean or Jennifer, or perhaps sat next to a 'nice' Michael or Jessica on the bus? Either way, the names and their associated personality traits tend to stick in our heads for years to come.

A website called School Stickers has taken this idea a playful step further by publishing an annual list of 'naughty and nice names' that even it claims is about as accurate "as if Rudolf [the reindeer] had written it."

It bases the name lists on 1.1million virtual rewards received by 59,000 students on its site from teachers and parents. It's as simple as analysing which names received the most rewards and which names were awarded the least. While it may sound like it's serious research, it's really all a bit of fun. The creators of the list urge that it should "not to be taken seriously."

So, who are most mischievous of kids? The results say Laura, Eleanor, Daisy, Adam, Joseph and Charlie. 

And the top names of the most well-behaved kids? Chloe, Emily, Sophie, Jack, Daniel and Joshua.
