Michel'le Toussaint (/mɪʃɛˈleɪ/; born December 5, 1970 in South Central, Los Angeles, California), known mononymously as Michel'le, is an American R&B singer-songwriter known for her Billboard Top 10 hit "No More Lies" and R&B chart topper "Something In My Heart" along with a signature childlike speaking voice, which is a startling contrast to her strong singing vocals. Since its July 2013 premiere, Michel'le is currently one of six members on the hit TV One reality show R&B Divas: Los Angeles.

Andre Romelle Young (born February 18, 1965), known by his stage name Dr. Dre, is an American rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur. He is the founder and current CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics. Dre was previously the co-owner of, and an artist on, Death Row Records. He has produced albums for and overseen the careers of many rappers, including The D.O.C., Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Xzibit, Knoc-turn'al, 50 Cent, The Game and Kendrick Lamar. He is credited as a key figure in the popularization of West Coast G-funk, a style of rap music characterized as synthesizer-based with slow, heavy beats. In 2014, Dr. Dre was ranked as the second richest figure in the American hip hop scene by Forbes with a net worth of $550 million; he is at the top of the 2015 Forbes list, with an estimated pre-tax take of $620 million in 2014.
Dre began his career as a member of the World Class Wreckin' Cru and later found fame with the influential gangsta rap group N.W.A with Eazy-E, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella, which popularized the use of explicit lyrics in rap to detail the violence of street life. His 1992 solo debut The Chronic, released under Death Row Records, led him to become one of the best-selling American performing artists of 1993 and to win a Grammy Award for the single "Let Me Ride". That same year he produced Death Row labelmate Snoop Dogg's quadruple platinum debut Doggystyle, and even molded artists into top-notch producers such as his step-brother Warren G, which led to his multi-platinum debut Regulate...G Funk Era in 1994, and Snoop Dogg's cousin Daz Dillinger which led to the double platinum debut album Dogg Food by Tha Dogg Pound in 1995.
Marion Hugh "Suge" Knight Jr. (/ˈʃʊɡ/; born April 19, 1965) is an American record producer and music executive. He is the founder and CEO of Black Kapital Records and co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records. Death Row Records rose to dominate the rap charts after Dr. Dre's breakthrough album The Chronic in 1992. After several years of chart successes for artists including Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Outlawz and Tha Dogg Pound, Death Row Records stagnated after Knight's incarceration on probation violation charges in September 1996 and went bankrupt in 2006.
In February 2015, Knight was charged with murder and attempted murder following a fatal hit-and-run in Compton, California. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Marion Hugh Knight Jr. was born in Compton, California, the son of Maxine (Chatman) and Marion Knight Sr. His name, Suge, derives from “Sugar Bear”, a childhood nickname. He attended Lynwood High School in nearby Lynwood, where he was a football and track star. He graduated in 1983. From 1983 to 1985, he attended El Camino College on a football scholarship. In 1985, he transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and played there for two years.

http://www.vladtv.com - Singer Michel'le recently sat down with VladTV and opened up about her past relationship with super-producer Dr. Dre, revealing that she was not only severely beaten by the Compton beatsmith, but that in a fit of rage, he actually attempted to shoot her in their home. After a discussion surrounding her son with Dre and his many other children, Michel'le reveals that after a night of partying, she and Dre got into a fight that became so heated, he went for his gun. The "No More Lies" singer then says she dodged the bullet by just inches after running into the bathroom, saying she knew his intentions were not to simply scare her with the gunshot, but to hit her. She also chose to leave the bullet lodged in the bathroom wall for a while just so he could see what he ha...

Danny Boy explained that each artist was taken care of with a monthly allowance, however, while Suge Knight was locked up, the funds suddenly stopped rolling in. In this interview, the singer says Michel'le gained control of the business, cut him off, and became a "super b****" towards him. "I want to be as honest as possible—The devil." In honor of her new movie Surviving Compton (Oct.15) I decided to dig through the old tapes. This interview is from the collectors tape she did which featured mini interviews between each music video. In this clip she discusses her voice, the making of her album with Dr. Dre D.O.C, and a little bit of her interview with Dionne. Circa 1991.

http://www.vladtv.com - Famed singer Michel'le opened up to VladTV about the stark differences in her singing and talking voices. The West Coast artist told us that she talks over her larynx, but she sings from her diaphragm, thus causing the differentiation in the two voices. During the conversation Michel'le also spoke about taking buses to singing competitions when she was a young teenager, and consistently coming in top three. She added that it was a confidence booster which let her know that she could make it on her own as a singer. Check out more of what she had to say in the above clip.
This clip is from Beyond The Headlines: Michel'le which included an interview with Dr Dre in 1999 discussing his relationship with Michel'le.
http://www.vladtv.com - Legendary rapper and producer Daz Dillinger has been crafting Hip-Hop classics since the genre's Golden Era. This section of his exclusive VladTV interview covers a range of topics, including what it was like to work with 2Pac, what he believes made Dr. Dre leave Death Row, and how a rumored hook up between Death Row artists may have led to the label's demise. Upon 'Pac's release from prison, Daz already had five tracks awaiting the iconic MC with supplementary hooks. The Long Beach rapper then revealed that the first track that Tupac jumped on would eventually become "Ambitions Az A Ridah," which was inspired by Snoop's "Stranded on Death Row." As the exchange illuminated Daz's great insight into the Death Row imprint, Dr. Dre soon became the topic of the discuss...
