De afgelopen jaren was Digitzz actief met enkele losse releases en als onderdeel van collectief Nouveau Riche. Hij benadrukt dat die vriendschap niet voorbij is. "Dat blijft gewoon. Ik heb veel muziek liggen met Boaz van de Beatz. Maar ik heb het gevoel dat deze nummers daar minder passen en heb zin om met Top Notch aan de slag te gaan."
De producties op The Good Stuff EP zijn van de hand van Soulsearchin', Laffree, Bats & Hammers, Ben Jur en Tobi Carter. Alle tracks op de EP zijn het afgelopen jaar gemaakt. "Ik ga zeker werken aan een album, maar met deze sound vond ik dat het eerst tijd was voor een nieuwe introductie. Het voelt ook echt weer als een nieuw begin, ik ben weer die rookie en wil me bewijzen. Ik heb grote ambities, maar begin nu met dit en ga hard werken om zoveel mogelijk te laten zien."
Bij single The Jam is een bizarre en spectaculaire video geschoten. Digitzz: "Het idee van de video is een dag uit mijn leven waarin alles maar net goed gaat. Ik zeg ook 'Nothing gon' bring me down today'. De wereld om mij heen vergaat, maar ik ontsnap steeds net aan alles. De clip is geschoten door Kraftstoff samen met special effects-genie Tim Smit. Ik vind de video echt geweldig geworden."

The Jam
The Jam were an English punk rock/mod revival band active during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
They were formed in Woking, Surrey. While they shared the "angry young men" outlook and fast tempos of their punk rock contemporaries, The Jam wore smartly tailored suits rather than ripped clothes, and they incorporated a number of mainstream 1960s rock and R&B influences rather than rejecting them, placing The Jam at the forefront of the mod revival movement.
They had 18 consecutive Top 40 singles in the United Kingdom, from their debut in 1977 to their break-up in December 1982, including four number one hits. As of 2007, "That's Entertainment" and "Just Who Is the 5 O'Clock Hero?" remained the best-selling import singles of all time in the UK. They released one live album and six studio albums, the last of which, The Gift, hit number one on the UK album charts. When the group split up, their first 15 singles were re-released and all placed within the top 100.
The band drew upon a variety of stylistic influences over the course of their career, including 1960s beat music, soul, rhythm and blues and psychedelic rock, as well as 1970s punk and new wave. The trio was known for its melodic pop songs, its distinctly English flavour and its mod image. The band launched the career of Paul Weller, who went on to form The Style Council and later had a successful solo career. Weller wrote and sang most of The Jam's original compositions, and he played lead guitar, using a Rickenbacker. Bruce Foxton provided backing vocals and prominent basslines, which were the foundation of many of the band's songs, including the hits "Down in the Tube Station at Midnight", "The Eton Rifles", "Going Underground" and "Town Called Malice".

De afgelopen jaren was Digitzz actief met enkele losse releases en als onderdeel van collectief Nouveau Riche. Hij benadrukt dat die vriendschap niet voorbij is. "Dat blijft gewoon. Ik heb veel muziek liggen met Boaz van de Beatz. Maar ik heb het gevoel dat deze nummers daar minder passen en heb zin om met Top Notch aan de slag te gaan."
De producties op The Good Stuff EP zijn van de hand van Soulsearchin', Laffree, Bats & Hammers, Ben Jur en Tobi Carter. Alle tracks op de EP zijn het afgelopen jaar gemaakt. "Ik ga zeker werken aan een album, maar met deze sound vond ik dat het eerst tijd was voor een nieuwe introductie. Het voelt ook echt weer als een nieuw begin, ik ben weer die rookie en wil me bewijzen. Ik heb grote ambities, maar begin nu met dit en ga hard werken om zoveel mogelijk te laten zien."
Bij single The Jam is een bizarre en spectaculaire video geschoten. Digitzz: "Het idee van de video is een dag uit mijn leven waarin alles maar net goed gaat. Ik zeg ook 'Nothing gon' bring me down today'. De wereld om mij heen vergaat, maar ik ontsnap steeds net aan alles. De clip is geschoten door Kraftstoff samen met special effects-genie Tim Smit. Ik vind de video echt geweldig geworden."

Recorded at 848 Community Space, June 24, 2000 to celebrate the opening of Tasmanian photographer Tony Ryan's show. This is when I performed with my CHEROTIC ALL-STAR BAND at the opening of the first U.S. exhibition of the work of the Tasmania's erotic photographer Tony Ryan. This is when I performed with my CHEROTIC ALL-STAR BAND at the opening of the first U.S. exhibition of the work of the Tasmania's erotic photographer Tony Ryan. It broke out in the second half of the performance into a very juicy erotic dance which pulled in several audience members!
When I reviewed Tony Ryan's first book of photography, “Beauty/Reality” for
the 7th issue of my zine, The Cherotic (r)Evolutionary, we had not met in
person. I met Tony on the Internet. I was searching for erotic art that
wasn't legs-spread, beer- can- in- the- ass- dildo- in- cunt- sucking- cock
parody on sex (such parodies have their place, but ...). And that is where
the world also met Tony. On the Internet is where Tony broke out of the
isolation that is felt by most artists who do not do fashionable art, who do
not fit in, or who run afoul of the local art power structure, and/or live
in the boonies ... In Tony's case, Tasmania! As our correspondence
continued, I encouraged Tony to live out one of his dreams, to come to the
Bay Area and show his photography in the U.S.. He was able to actually come
twice, appearing on my live internet show, The Shaman's Den, both times. In
2000, Tony showed his photography at 848 Divisadero, a radical art space in
San Francisco, where I had done a series of performances in the late 90s.
We did a great music jam to launch the exhibit. He also showed his work at
Passion Flower in Oakland, an adult shop where I also performed over the
years, doing all-night and other extended time ritual audience-participation
performances. Tony was eager to return in 2001, so I set two of my students
to work finding spaces that would host Tony's photography in San Francisco
and Oakland/Berkeley. This time, Tony was able to show in four different
spaces, including a repeat visit to Passion Flower, and an exhibit at
Artists Television Access (ATA) in San Francisco, an underground film/video
house where I have also shown my films. I was happy that Tony could show
his photos here, to expose a live audience to his work. He was also able to
do a series of photo shoots in the Bay Area while he was here.
Tony shows that by putting your art directly out into the world, you can
by-pass all road blocks that the power structures put in your way. The work
is humanistic (thus, truly feminist), completely erotic because it is not
limited by sex. Tony, as do I, admits to being especially attracted to
working with women, to what he calls the special tension. In fact, he
subtitled his first book, "Male Eye-Female Mind". By doing so, he called
attention to the major and active role of the female models in the creative
process.
I think Tony's art and my own have evolved from similar beginnings. Some of
my earliest performances were what I call “street performances”. I had been
painting oils for years, painting with a brush strapped to my forehead,
painting nudes from magazine photos. One day, a rich woman asked me to paint
a nude of her. My wife set me and my paints up in the fancy living room as
the woman undressed. On that day I realized how art can give people
permission to do what normally is forbidden. This began my street series. I
sat on the center plaza, "selling newspapers". But selling papers was only a
context. The context for me was an excuse for watching people, talking to
people who had the slowness and the insightful curiosity to stop and
talk...a way for me to ask them to model for me. I painted a lot of the
special people from the street performances. I noticed the changes in the
people when they took off their clothes; how they relaxed, how they started
talking on a deeper level about important personal things.
In this same way, the nude body in each of Tony's photos is just the
starting point to reveal the "subject's" personality/spirit, to explore
relationships, and to dive into the magical intimate altered reality of the
shooting session, the special intimate reality created when artist and model
come together in art.

Saturday night’s Musical Dance Jam Celebration for Frank Moore was an amazing and wonderful opportunity to gather people together who knew and loved Frank, and really to continue that feeling of intimacy, depth and wide open possibilities that was Frank’s life work, and that now lives on in all of us. It was really so much like many of Frank’s performances at the Temescal Art Center, his performance home for the last 4+ years. We were always amazed at the wide range of people that would attend those performances, and it was really in keeping with the way Frank was with everyone in his life. He loved and was loved by so many different kinds of people, from so many different walks of life. So we had everyone from labor activists, micro-radio revolutionaries, neighbors from the block, long-time students and ex-students, friends from the SF punk scene, photographers, fans and attendees of Frank’s performances young and old, and even some young Greek musicians travelling through who just heard about Frank and this event, and wanted to join the jam! Not to mention Frank’s ENT doctor and friend of three decades, Rich and physical therapist and friend for just as long, Francine.
Linda, Erika and Megan went around the room, which quickly filled, asking everyone how they knew Frank and what he meant to them ... the responses were powerful, deep and funny! Frank’s impact was deeply felt. It seemed also a way for all of these different people in Frank’s life to experience firsthand the impact Frank made on such a wide range of people, and through so many different avenues ... Frank’s internet station, LUVeR, his performances, his running for President in 2008, his live music jams in punk clubs, his trips to the doctor and hospital stays, etc.! We were really happy that the spirit of Frank’s performance and life flowed on seamlessly into this celebration.
And of course then there was the music jam and dance! The music really started with Tomek and Kene-J (aka Frank’s “Son”) laying down a beautiful deep track of music throughout the entire night as people talked about Frank. And after Kene-J said some words of his own about Frank, Linda asked him to do two songs, the first a rap that we had not heard before, which seemed to be about or inspired by Frank, and the second a recent favorite, “To Be Free”, which Kene-J said was inspired by his experiences of Frank’s performances, and which we first heard at the August 2012 “Risk For Deep Love” performance. We felt Kene-J’s deep love for Frank in these songs. At some point, the Greeks joined Tomek and Kene-J in this ongoing jam. And after Erika read Annie Sprinkle’s audience-participation message for Frank, in which Annie had everyone in the room doing a short eroplay ritual tickling each other’s arms, the dance jam began!
It was a beautiful erotic jam of melting bodies and rhythmic soft waves of music ... Almost everyone picked up an instrument to join the jam and play along as Linda, Erika and Megan took off each other’s clothes and danced nude erotically as slides of the history of Frank’s performances projected on their bodies. Some of the others in the audience also took off their clothes. And after an erotic tickling session, the three went and “got” the audience, holding and rocking each person in the room. This amazing jam then segued into a sing-a-long led by Captain Fred, a long time friend and collaborator from the micro-radio movement. He passed out the lyrics to “With A Little Help from My Friends”, and the whole room sang it together, backed up by the musicians. It was a great way to “end” the night, although of course as Kene-J pointed out earlier when everyone clapped for his performances, “Frank always said ‘No clapping’!” ... because clapping is as if something has ended, and Frank always talked about how the performances don’t really “end”. We all feel that here.
Theremin Barney of Fluff Grrl, who was there with Annie and Mike, said at one point that he felt that Bob Madigan and Frank created “environments” ... they created around them a space in which people could come together and be together in ways that were outside of the normal, and that didn’t seem possible without them, and that he missed this so much with Bob’s passing, and now Frank. But as the night went on, and so many people asked for the performances and Frank’s work to continue, it was even more clear that there really isn’t an end ... that Frank’s work continues in us. This was a confirmation of what we have already felt. Saturday night’s Musical Dance Jam Celebration for Frank Moore was an amazing and wonderful opportunity to gather people together who knew and loved Frank, and really to continue that feeling of intimacy, depth and wide open possibilities that was Frank’s life work, and that now lives on in all of us. It was really so much like many of Frank’s performances at the Temescal Art Center, his performance home for the last 4+ years. We were always amazed at the wide range of people that would attend those performances, and it was really in keeping with the way Frank was with everyone in his life. He loved and was loved by so many different kinds of people, from so many different walks of life. So we had everyone from labor activists, micro-radio revolutionaries, neighbors from the block, long-time students and ex-students, friends from the SF punk scene, photographers, fans and attendees of Frank’s performances young and old, and even some young Greek musicians travelling through who just heard about Frank and this event, and wanted to join the jam! Not to mention Frank’s ENT doctor and friend of three decades, Rich and physical therapist and friend for just as long, Francine.
Linda, Erika and Megan went around the room, which quickly filled, asking everyone how they knew Frank and what he meant to them ... the responses were powerful, deep and funny! Frank’s impact was deeply felt. It seemed also a way for all of these different people in Frank’s life to experience firsthand the impact Frank made on such a wide range of people, and through so many different avenues ... Frank’s internet station, LUVeR, his performances, his running for President in 2008, his live music jams in punk clubs, his trips to the doctor and hospital stays, etc.! We were really happy that the spirit of Frank’s performance and life flowed on seamlessly into this celebration.
And of course then there was the music jam and dance! The music really started with Tomek and Kene-J (aka Frank’s “Son”) laying down a beautiful deep track of music throughout the entire night as people talked about Frank. And after Kene-J said some words of his own about Frank, Linda asked him to do two songs, the first a rap that we had not heard before, which seemed to be about or inspired by Frank, and the second a recent favorite, “To Be Free”, which Kene-J said was inspired by his experiences of Frank’s performances, and which we first heard at the August 2012 “Risk For Deep Love” performance. We felt Kene-J’s deep love for Frank in these songs. At some point, the Greeks joined Tomek and Kene-J in this ongoing jam. And after Erika read Annie Sprinkle’s audience-participation message for Frank, in which Annie had everyone in the room doing a short eroplay ritual tickling each other’s arms, the dance jam began!
It was a beautiful erotic jam of melting bodies and rhythmic soft waves of music ... Almost everyone picked up an instrument to join the jam and play along as Linda, Erika and Megan took off each other’s clothes and danced nude erotically as slides of the history of Frank’s performances projected on their bodies. Some of the others in the audience also took off their clothes. And after an erotic tickling session, the three went and “got” the audience, holding and rocking each person in the room. This amazing jam then segued into a sing-a-long led by Captain Fred, a long time friend and collaborator from the micro-radio movement. He passed out the lyrics to “With A Little Help from My Friends”, and the whole room sang it together, backed up by the musicians. It was a great way to “end” the night, although of course as Kene-J pointed out earlier when everyone clapped for his performances, “Frank always said ‘No clapping’!” ... because clapping is as if something has ended, and Frank always talked about how the performances don’t really “end”. We all feel that here.

We are ONDÉ, a transmedia collective based in Berlin.
We create new experiences and scenographies by confronting light, video-mapping, painting, music, tape art, in a live situation (Parties, installa- tions, theater). We question the idea of reality, playing at the frontier of tangible and illusion.
The Paint-Mapping performance took place at the Kater Holzig in October 2014. This performance takes place in the general ambience of a party, as a focus among others, as an ongoing process (DJ, Bar, lights, etc).
The encounter between light and painting
Duration: 3h more or less 1h depending on the party concept. 1hour composition building + 1 hour details + 1 hour VJing.
This performance aims to show the creative process of making a light and painting composition. The painter and the “mapper” create a piece in realtime together. A dynamic play where situations of balance, battle, supporting each other takes place, as the whole picture emerges.
After 1 hour, an abstract graphic construct is set and a game of light rythms, de-re-structure the space of the painting according to the live music.

Painting surface, black or white.

MusicNOW 2009 Impromptu Jam - Bryce & Aaron Dessner, Richard Reed Parry
Bryce & Aaron Dessner (of The National) play an impromptu jam session with Richard Reed Parry (Arcade Fire, Belle Orchestre) before the opening set of the 2009 MusicNOW festival on March 12 at Memorial Hall in Cincinnati, OH. Bryce Dessner is the curator of the now-annual MusicNOW event. This opening jam in the lounge area preceded main sets by The Books and Kronos Quartet. It's a long, slow instrumental jam that picks up about halfway through. Siquijor Saturday
May 23, 2015 // Less than 24 hours of pure fun and adventure in the mystic island of Siquijor, Philippines! All the early morning trips were fully booked and the port of Dumaguete was jam-packed as early as 7am. So we braved the long lines and finally got tickets for the 11am trip aboard the Orlines shipping. The boat was so full that some of the passengers were just standing for the duration of the 2-hour trip (I suggest you take a ferry boat like the GL Lines so it'll only take you an hour across). So our day tour package ended up becoming a half-day tour, at the same price of 2,500php (it's actually a good price for a personal van that comes with a driver/tourist guide). Cloud is difficult to build contingency because you don't own the asset so what to do. So its got people thinking about it you know how can we do a better job and understanding what's going on behind the cloud front.
And it is starting to beg the question, is this time that cloud providers open up and disclose some of their IT systems and how things are put together? Taking a quote from an article on CNet, it says, this strengthens the argument for cloud providers like Amazon to fully disclose their IT systems to either their customers or independent third party for assessment, testing, and inspection.

Cloud is difficult to build contingency because you don't own the asset so what to do. So its got people thinking about it you know how can we do a better job and understanding what's going on behind the cloud front.
And it is starting to beg the question, is this time that cloud providers open up and disclose some of their IT systems and how things are put together? Taking a quote from an article on CNet, it says, this strengthens the argument for cloud providers like Amazon to fully disclose their IT systems to either their customers or independent third party for assessment, testing, and inspection.

Douglas E. Davis (born September 17, 1966), better known by the stage name Doug E. Fresh, is an American rapper, record producer, and beat boxer, also known as "the Human Beat Box". One of the early pioneers of beatboxing, Fresh is able to accurately imitate drum machines and various special effects using only his mouth, throat and a microphone. Although he began his recording career as a solo artist as one of the last artists on Enjoy Records and one of the first on Vintertainment Records (the same New York-based label owned by Vincent Davis that would later make a name of Hip-Hop artist Joeski Love and bring R&B; icon Keith Sweat to ultimate fame), it was when he and a new team of DJs known as The Get Fresh Crew (Barry Bee and Chill Will) along with a newcomer named MC Ricky D (who would later achieve fame as Slick Rick) came to fledgling New Jersey-based Hip-Hop label Reality/Danya Records the following year and recorded "The Show" (which borrowed the melody of the Inspector Gadget theme),[2] and "La Di Da Di", a tune that was completely voiced by MC Ricky D and backed by Doug E's beat box for the entire duration of the song. May 23, 2015 // Less than 24 hours of pure fun and adventure in the mystic island of Siquijor, Philippines! All the early morning trips were fully booked and the port of Dumaguete was jam-packed as early as 7am. So we braved the long lines and finally got tickets for the 11am trip aboard the Orlines shipping. The boat was so full that some of the passengers were just standing for the duration of the 2-hour trip (I suggest you take a ferry boat like the GL Lines so it'll only take you an hour across). So our day tour package ended up becoming a half-day tour, at the same price of 2,500php (it's actually a good price for a personal van that comes with a driver/tourist guide).

JAPAN 2015 is a compilation of five painting-in-motion videos (4 documentations of installations, 1 source video and 1 cinematic portrait) made while Sheridan was on artist residency at PARADISE AIR in Matsudo, Chiba, Japan from 12/15/14 to 2/28/15. This work was made courtesy of PARADISE AIR and its directors Junpei Mori, Shoji Wataru and Kanoko Tamura; the Matsukai Community Council with funding from Japan Agency of Cultural Affairs / Bunkacho; and finally the participation of all the locations and managers in the Matsudo area who let us project and shoot on their premises and property. Thank you Matsudo for being wonderful hosts to Sheridan and his work!

The single channel painting-in-motion of 1/24/15, Shrine Kaguraden, was the first new projection Sheridan was asked to undertake upon arrival in Matsudo. A number of site visits followed, all of which begged the question “what kind of projection is necessary for a structure already beautiful and already loaded with purpose?" Once performances were assigned and the structure was gridded, it became apparent that stage and side could be lit by ambient color field textures, the top punctuated by arcs, all informed by abstract interpretations of Shinto practice. This premiered Sheridan’s new work to the greater Matsudo public.

The biggest surprise for Sheridan was integrating live mixing of his painting-in-motion content for music performances during his time at PARADISE AIR. An invitation by a Paradise Air director to VJ at a gig in Matsudo opened up Sheridan’s practice immeasurably and unexpectedly, giving him the opportunity to practice techniques he learned in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil the previous August. Practicing to different kinds of recorded and live musics enabled Sheridan to expand upon and demonstrate music theory present in his work by composing it in real time. Previously a bassist, Sheridan was pleased to be “in the band” once again.

The Tokatsu Clinic Mirai projection of 1/31/15 in Matsudo was a dual channel version of the painting-in-motion composed live during the Madroom set at Matsudo’s Fanclub Thursday 1/29/15. Titled FKA Cinema Matsudo, the work was projected on the facade of a medical clinic which only 3 years ago was a cinema. Originally composed during a dance party, when the work was projected large across the facade -- and light, keeping the grid of the facade visible -- its design, coloration and movement created an abstract manga conflating violence of the cinema with everyday struggles of life and death in hospital.

Sheridan’s final painting-in-motion projection in Matsudo was a 3 channel affair entitled Vanishing Point (Make Waves). Presented across the triangular facade of the Morita Clinic during Friday night rush hour on 2/20/15, Vanishing Point was presented within a 45 minute time span as compared to the two hours allotted for previous works in Matsudo. This was among Sheridan’s favorite works made in Matsudo alongside Madroom (composed via live-mixing) and Matsudo: Ebb + Flow (his project proposed specifically for Matsudo) primarily because, as in Sheridan’s previous best work, it is what it does as reflected in its title.

During late January and early February, thanks to coordination from PARADISE AIR, Sheridan visited, projected and recorded his paintings-in-motion within all these locations at least once, with the aim of making a film about Matsudo using the same techniques used to document his painting-in-motion public projections and installations, while integrating the long take / kneeling camera / geometrical framings of Japanese masters like Ozu and Kurosawa into the work. During late January and early February, thanks to coordination from PARADISE AIR, Sheridan visited, projected and recorded his paintings-in-motion within all these locations at least once, with the aim of making a film about Matsudo using the same techniques used to document his painting-in-motion public projections and installations, while integrating the long take / kneeling camera / geometrical framings of Japanese masters like Ozu and Kurosawa into the work. The 2 minute excerpt shown here serves as a trailer for the final work, which is 10 minutes in duration.
