AZERI PEOPLE TRYING TO ERASE AND DESTROY THE ANCIENT ARMENIAN HISTORY AND PRESENCE OF NAKHICHEVAN - Azerbaijani invaders currently living in the ancient Native Armenian province of Nakhichevan were caught destroying ancient Armenian Khachkars (Armenian Christian Cross stones) in Jugha (Julfa), Nakhichevan. These ancient Armenian Khachkars are over 1,200 years old, most of them were built in the early 9th century, long before Azerbaijan or Turkey even existed as a nation. This incident of Azeris trying to erase the ancient Armenian history from Nakhichevan is not new but has been happening from the time the Turks invaded Armenian lands which is still under Azerbaijan and Turkey's occupation. Khachkars in Turkey were also destroyed during and after the Armenian Genocide in 1915 to try and erase the Native most ancient Armenian presence of those lands so that no Armenian can try and re-claim what was stolen from them. UNESCO has condemned these horrific acts of the Azeri people and the Republic of Azerbaijan calling it a CULTURAL GENOCIDE in trying to erase the history of the Native people of Nakhichevan, the Armenians which the Azerbaijanis like the Turkish are trying to destroy and erase it from history. We need to speak out against this second genocide too. First it was a physical genocide but we will not allow their attempt to commit a cultural genocide. One day we will return and re-take Nakhichevan as we have done with Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), free from Azeri Turk and Turkish occupation. Nakhichevan, Armenia (Hayastan).
