A Halls Head woman who was employed in WA's prison system will face court over sexual acts with a 17-year-old prison inmate, police say.
Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said the woman, who was previously employed by the Department of Corrective Services, has been charged with indecently dealing with a 17-year-old boy who was in detention at the time.

Police allege between February and May 2017 the 38-year-old woman engaged in consensual sexual acts with the teenager.
She will front Armadale Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with three counts of indecent dealing of a child over 16 years by a person in authority and one count of procures a child over 16 years to perform an indecent act by person in authority.
