George Walker Bush (born July 6, 1946) is an American politician and businessman who served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009, and the 46th Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000. The eldest son of Barbara and George H. W. Bush, he was born in New Haven, Connecticut. After graduating from Yale University in 1968 and Harvard Business School in 1975, he worked in oil businesses. He married Laura Welch in 1977 and ran unsuccessfully for the House of Representatives shortly thereafter. He later co-owned the Texas Rangers baseball team before defeating Ann Richards in the 1994 Texas gubernatorial election. He was elected president in 2000 after a close and controversial election, becoming the fourth president to be elected while receiving fewer popular votes nationwide than his opponent. He is the second president to have been the son of a former president, the first having been John Quincy Adams. He is also the brother of Jeb Bush, who is a former Governor of Florida and candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in the 2016 presidential election.
The United States Military Academy at West Point (USMA), also known as West Point, Army, The Academy or simply The Point, is a four-year coeducational federal service academy located in West Point, New York. The academy, located in Orange County, sits on scenic high ground overlooking the Hudson River, 50 miles (80 km) north of New York City. The Academy traces its roots to 1801, when, shortly after his inauguration, President Thomas Jefferson directed that plans be set in motion to establish at West Point the United States Military Academy. The entire central campus is a national landmark and home to scores of historic sites, buildings, and monuments. The majority of the campus's Norman buildings are constructed from gray and black granite. The campus is a popular tourist destination complete with a large visitor center and the oldest museum in the United States Army.
Candidates for admission must both apply directly to the academy and receive a nomination, usually from a member of Congress or Delegate/Resident Commissioner in the case of Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Virgin Islands. Other nomination sources include the President and Vice President of the United States. Students are officers-in-training and are referred to as "cadets" or collectively as the "United States Corps of Cadets" (USCC). Tuition for cadets is fully funded by the Army in exchange for an active duty service obligation upon graduation. Approximately 1,300 cadets enter the Academy each July, with about 1,000 cadets graduating.

Addressing the corps of cadets at the U.S. Military Academy, the president said that after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the U.S. saw the urgency of staying a step ahead of our enemies, a policy reflected in what is known as the Bush Doctrine. Bush said terrorism continues to pose a serious challenge, as seen in the attacks last month in Mumbai, but that the terrorists have been weakened. (AP news)

Here is a knife i designed to give a person a good bush knife, as well as a great defensive weapon in one.. This knife has a 3 inch blade , so great for the small tasks of a bush knife, as well the paracord handle acts as cordage when unwrapped, so you can haft it to a spear shaft. This is a perfect knife to carry , for in a survival situation, fashioning a spear could save your life. In my opinion a spear is the best defensive weapon hand to hand against predators you can wield. This allows you to strike from a distance, stab and use as a staff as well driving your opponent back. Hope you enjoy my design .Thanks for watching.
In August of 2001, just a few weeks before the 911 attacks, we visited Walker Point where former President Bush lives. Coincidentally, right when we were stopping by, he was getting on his boat with others to fish. He and several boys that looked latino (possibly Jeb's sons) fished for a while. The secret service eventually brought a women out to the boat who looked like a younger version of Barbary (possibly their daughter). Once she boarded the boat, they left the cove, apparently to go fish further out. He was definitely enjoying fishing with his companions that day.

Background The 6th and final Republican primary debate of 1980 was held in Texas prior to the all-important primary there. The day before the debate, Bush had won the Pennsylvania primary by eight percentage points. Bush's victory was the result of three important factors. First, with Rep. John B. Anderson out of the race, the 12% of Pennsylvania Republicans who had supported him split for Bush by a 3:1 margin [NYT 4/23/1980]. Second, Bush emphasized that he was a moderate Republican in Pennsylvania; exit polls showed that this was a major influence on voters [NYT 4/23]. Third, Reagan was quickly approaching the statutory limit on primary campaign spending [NYT 4/24]. This meant that the Reagan campaign had to make careful decisions about where to spend money in the remaining primary and...
