Glow or GLOW may refer to:
Orange Is the New Black (often abbreviated to OITNB) is an American comedy-drama series created by Jenji Kohan. The series, produced by Tilted Productions in association with Lionsgate Television, is based on Piper Kerman's memoir, Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison (2010), about her experiences at FCI Danbury, a minimum-security federal prison. The first season, comprising 13 episodes, premiered on July 11, 2013 on Netflix. The second season, consisting of 13 episodes, was released on June 6, 2014. The third season, consisting of 13 episodes, premiered on June 11, 2015. On April 15, 2015, the series was renewed for a fourth season, to be released on June 17, 2016. On February 5, 2016, the series was renewed for a fifth, sixth and seventh season.
Orange Is the New Black is Netflix's most-watched series. It has received critical acclaim. For its first season, the series garnered 12 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, winning three. A new Emmy rule in 2015 forced the series to change categories from comedy to drama. For its second season, it received four Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, and Uzo Aduba won for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. The series is the first to score nominations in both comedy and drama categories. The series has also received six Golden Globe Award nominations, a Producers Guild of America Award, and a Peabody Award.
Nurse Jackie is an American medical dark satirical comedy-drama series. It premiered on Showtime on June 8, 2009. The show's seventh and final season premiered on April 12, 2015. The series finale aired on June 28, 2015.
The show starred Edie Falco as the title character Jackie Peyton, an emergency department nurse at All Saints' Hospital in New York City. For Jackie, "every day is a high wire act of juggling patients, doctors, fellow nurses, and her own indiscretions."
Nurse Jackie was created by Liz Brixius, Linda Wallem, and Evan Dunsky. Brixius and Wallem served as showrunners for the first four seasons and shared executive producer duties with Caryn Mandabach and John Melfi. Showtime ordered an initial 12 episodes. Before the premiere, Brixius told the New York Daily News that "Guys' stories tend to be about conquests – getting the job, winning the Olympics, whatever. Women['s] stories aren't as immediately climactic so they need to play out over the course of three months ... And every medical show out there has been about doctors. Doctors are absolutely unable to do what they have to do without nurses. We want to tell those stories."

Guts, glitter, glory... Are you ready to GLOW? Inspired by the short-lived but beloved show from the 80s, GLOW tells the fictional story of Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie), an out-of-work, struggling actress in 1980s Los Angeles who finds one last chance for stardom when she’s thrust into the glitter and spandex world of women's wrestling. In addition to working with 12 Hollywood misfits, Ruth also has to compete with Debbie Eagan (Betty Gilpin), a former soap actress who left the business to have a baby, only to be sucked back into work when her picture perfect life turns out not to be what it seems. At the wheel is Sam Sylvia (Marc Maron), a washed-up, B-movie director who now must lead this group of women on the journey to wrestling super stardom. GLOW is executive produced by Liz Flahive (...
This rarity has been posted elsewhere on YouTube, but never with such clarity. This is probably the highest quality you'll ever see on this title. This is the original pilot presentation for the cult classic wrestling/comedy series "G.L.O.W (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling), created by David McClane and Matt Cimber. There are many differences between this, and the final aired series, not the least of which is the introductions of the girls, the opening sequence and the insertion of comedy sequences. If you are looking for the more familiar version of the show, be patient, I am uploading one more today.
Another opening rap that has the girls solo raps mixed in. This time we have Palestina, Tammy Jones, Heavy Metal, Tina Ferari, The Housewives, Aunt Kitty and Jackie Stallone.

Glow
Baby says I get out of line. Got to keep
me fighting for my life. I sleep with
one eye open, can't keep what I owe, man.
And all this time I've been out of my
mind. Things got out of hand; you're not
coming back.
And I want to know where you're gonna
And I want to go where you're gonna go.
Why you got to keep me so low? I'm only
trying to make us glow. And it's not easy
when you spend all the dough. You know
we ought to make this two-person show.
And I want to know where you're gonna
And I want to go where you're gonna go.
And I want to go where you're gonna go.
